Abstract

The present invention relates to a cooking device (1) comprising a burner plate (2) having a flat surface and at least one cooking zone; at least one burner group (3) which is provided on the burner plate (2) and which enables the flame reach the vessel wherein the cooking process is performed; a body (4) whereon the burner plate (2) is fixed; and at least one connection member (5) which enables the burner plate (2) to be detachably mounted onto the body (4), wherein a support (6) which disposed between the body (4) and the burner plate (2) so as to contact both the body (4) and the burner plate (2).

Description

    A COOKING DEVICE
  • The present invention relates to a cooking device comprising a burner plate.
  • Cooking devices such as cookers and ovens comprise burner groups having at least one burner plate with at least one cooking zone whereon cooking vessels, for example pots are placed and at least one burner head which enables the vessels to be heated on the burner plate. The burner plate which is generally produced from sheet metal is coated with enamel. The burner plate is fixed onto a body by means of different methods such as screwing, adhesion, etc. However, the burner plate may be subject to various stresses and impacts while the burner plate is being fixed onto the body. Therefore, the enamel which is a delicate material and the burner plate may get damaged. Moreover, the high temperatures transferred from the burner groups to the burner plate cause the burner plate to be deformed. In the state of the art, the burner groups positioned at different points under the burner plate are used in order to prevent the burner plate from being damaged; however, said situation decreases the efficiency of the cooking device and results in an inefficient cooking process.
  • In the state of the art European Patent Document No. EP2097680, a cooking device is disclosed, comprising a cook top containing gas burners and/or electrical heaters thereon and a connection spring for detachably attaching the cook top and for attenuating the forces acting on the cook top.
  • The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooking device wherein the burner plate is fixed onto the body without getting damaged.
  • The cooking device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof comprises a burner plate having a flat surface and at least one cooking zone; at least one burner group which is provided on the burner plate and which enables the flame to reach the vessel wherein the cooking process is performed; a body whereon the burner plate is fixed; and at least one connection member which enables the burner plate to be detachably mounted onto the body. The flammable gas and the ambient air are mixed to form flames in the burner group, which are then transferred to heat the vessels placed on the cooking zone. The burner plate is placed onto the body by means of the connection member.
  • The cooking device of the present invention comprises a support which is disposed between the body and the burner plate so as to contact both the body and the burner plate. By means of the support, the high temperatures transferred from the burner groups to the burner plate and/or the force applied onto the burner plate are prevented from damaging the burner plate.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises the support comprising a support body having a housing suitable for placing the burner group therein. The support body is positioned such that the base thereof contacts the body and that the support body extends perpendicularly from the body towards the burner plate. On the support body, the housing is provided, which has the same area as the surface area of the burner group.
  • In another embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises the housing having at least one mounting hole thereon which enables the burner group to be fixed to the body by means of at least one mounting member. By fitting the mounting member into the mounting hole, the burner group is placed into the housing and fixed onto the support body. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, a screw is used as the mounting member.
  • In another embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises at least one arm which is provided on the part of the support body surrounding the housing to contact the burner plate and which supports the burner plate. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the arms extend perpendicularly from the housing base towards the burner plate on two opposite sides of the housing. By means of the arm extending parallel to the base of the burner plate, the burner plate is supported. Thus, the burner plate is prevented from being damaged by the heat transferred from the burner group to the cooking zone during the operation of the cooking device.
  • In another embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises an electronic component which is provided on the body, and the arm which extends over the electronic component so as to prevent the heat at the cooking zone from reaching the electronic component. By means of the arm extending parallel to the base of the burner plate so as to be over the electronic component, the heat at the cooking zone during the operation of the cooking device is prevented from reaching the electronic component. Thus, the electronic component is prevented from being damaged by heat.
  • In another embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device comprises at least one insulation member which is provided on the connection member surface seated on the burner plate. While the burner plate is placed onto the body by means of the connection member, the insulation member is squeezed between the connection member and the burner plate.
  • By means of the present invention, a cooking device is realized, comprising the support which prevents the heat transferred to the cooking zone during the operation of the cooking device from reaching the burner plate.
  • The cooking device realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:

  • Figure 2 - is the perspective view of the burner group, the burner plate and the support in an embodiment of the present invention.

  • The cooking device (1) comprises a burner plate (2) having a flat surface and at least one cooking zone and at least one burner group (3) which is provided on the burner plate (2) and which enables the flame to reach the vessel wherein the cooking process is performed. The burner plate (2) is fixed onto a body (4). The burner plate (2) is detachably mounted onto the body (4) by means of at least one connection member (5). The flammable gas and the ambient air are mixed to form flames in the burner group (3). The flames are transferred onto the burner plate (2) so as to heat the vessels placed onto the cooking zone.
  • The cooking device (1) of the present invention comprises a support (6) which is disposed between the body (4) and the burner plate (2). The support (6) is positioned so as to contact both the body (4) and the burner plate (2). A force is applied onto the body (4) during the assembly or by the burner group (3). By means of the support (6), said force applied onto the body (4) is attenuated before reaching the burner plate (2). Moreover, the heat transferred by the burner group (3) during the cooking process is prevented from damaging the burner plate (2).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises the support (6) comprising a support body (7) having a housing (8) suitable for placing the burner group (3) therein. The base of the support body (7) contacts the body (4). The support body (7) extends perpendicularly from the body (4) towards the burner plate (2). On the support body (7), the housing (8) is provided, which has the same area as the surface area of the burner group (3). The length of the support body (7) is at the most equal to the difference between the distance between the body (4) and the burner plate (2) and the length of the burner group (3).
  • In another embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises the housing (8) having at least one mounting hole (10) thereon which enables the burner group (3) to be fixed to the support body (7) by means of at least one mounting member (9). The burner group (3) is placed onto the housing (8) by fitting the mounting member (9) into the mounting hole (10). The burner group (3) placed onto the housing (8) is fixed onto the support body (7). Thus, the burner group (3) is prevented from displacing, thus eliminating the risk of the efficiency of the cooking process decreasing.
  • In another embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises at least one arm (11) which is provided on the part of the support body (7) surrounding the housing (8) to contact the burner plate (2). By means of the arm (11), a seating surface is formed for the burner plate (2) to support the same.
  • In another embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises an electronic component (12) which is provided on the body (4), and the arm (11) which extends over the electronic component (12) so as to prevent the heat at the cooking zone from reaching the electronic component (12). The arm (11) extending perpendicularly from the base of the housing (8) extends parallel to the base of the burner plate (2) so as to cover the electronic component (12). Thus, the electronic component (12) is prevented from getting damaged due to the heat transferred to the cooking zone.
  • In another embodiment of the present invention, the cooking device (1) comprises at least one insulation member (13) which is provided on the connection member (5) surface seated on the burner plate (2). While the burner plate (2) is fixed onto the body (4) by means of the connection member (5), the insulation member (13) is squeezed between the connection member (5) and the burner plate (2). Thus, leak proofing is ensured between the connection member (5) and the burner plate (2).
  • By means of the present invention, a cooking device (1) is realized, comprising the support (6) which attenuates and prevents the force applied onto the body (4) from reaching the burner plate (2). Thus, the burner plate (2) is placed onto the body (4) without getting damaged.

Claims (6)

  1. A cooking device (1) comprising a burner plate (2) having a flat surface and at least one cooking zone; at least one burner group (3) which is provided on the burner plate (2) and which enables the flame reach the vessel wherein the cooking process is performed; a body (4) whereon the burner plate (2) is fixed; and at least one connection member (5) which enables the burner plate (2) to be detachably mounted onto the body (4), characterized by a support (6) which is disposed between the body (4) and the burner plate (2) so as to contact both the body (4) and the burner plate (2).
  2. A cooking device (1) as in Claim 1, characterized by the support (6) comprising a support body (7) having a housing (8) suitable for placing the burner group (3) therein.
  3. A cooking device (1) as in Claim 2, characterized by the housing (8) having at least one mounting hole (10) thereon which enables the burner group (3) to be fixed to the support body (7) by means of at least one mounting member (9).
  4. A cooking device (1) as in Claim 2 or Claim 3, characterized by at least one arm (11) which is provided on the part of the support body (7) surrounding the housing (8) to contact the burner plate (2) and which supports the burner plate (2).
  5. A cooking device (1) as in Claim 4, characterized by an electronic component (12) which is provided on the body (4), and the arm (11) which extends over the electronic component (12) so as to prevent the heat at the cooking zone from reaching the electronic component (12).
  6. A cooking device (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by at least one insulation member (13) which is provided on the connection member (5) surface seated on the burner plate (2).
