Definitions
- the present invention relates to a rotor for an electric motor with a shaft and a laminated core made of an electrical sheet material, the shaft carrying the laminated core and the laminated core serving as a carrier for permanent magnets or a short-circuit rotor.
- the invention further relates to an electric motor with a rotor and a method for producing a rotor.
- rotor shafts for e-machines are predominantly made in one piece, although there are also approaches for multi-part, so-called built shafts.
- One-piece shafts have the disadvantage that individual sections (e.g. splines, bearing seat or sealing seat) perform different functions and that there are correspondingly different requirements in terms of geometry and material properties.
- a compromise must therefore be found for the different sections and their requirements.
- stator and rotor exist e.g. B. partly from special laminated cores (the so-called electrical sheets), on the one hand to cause high magnetic flux densities and on the other hand to minimize magnetic reversal and eddy current losses.
- Multi-part rotors are described for example in DE 10 2010 022 621 A1, DE 10 2011 012 429 A1, DE 10 2016 215 090 A1, DE 10 2016 215 979 A1, DE 10 2017 011 969 A1 or WO 2018/036952 A1.
- DE 10 2012 110 157 A1 describes a rotor of an asynchronous motor with a laminated core.
- DE 10 2011 001 488 B4 describes special materials for the laminated cores.
- the rotor shaft supports the rotor via a force fit or, for example, a form fit and allows mechanical mounting. Furthermore, the rotor shaft offers a tread for, for example, a radial seal to seal the electric machine from the outside world, e.g. B. to the transmission.
- the rotor shaft usually transmits a torque via an external or internal toothing in subsequent or previous units (e.g. the gearbox already mentioned).
- the laminated core carries, for example, a short-circuit cage or permanent magnets.
- the laminated core rotates at high speed and a short distance from the stator and preferably also conducts the magnetic flux.
- the laminated core consists of stacked laminations which are electrically insulated from one another in order to increase the electrical resistance in the axial direction. This is intended to reduce eddy currents and reduce energy or thermal losses.
- the individual sheets are made of special iron alloys (so-called electrical sheet), which should have the following properties:
- Rotor shafts usually consist of carbon steels (C35, C45) or tempered steels (42CrMo4) because they have to have a certain hardness.
- the hardness is particularly necessary for the torque-transmitting splines, for the sealing seat and for the bearing seats. Due to the limitation to specific sections, often only these sections are hardened by a local heat treatment. In order for the other areas of the rotor shaft to provide good properties for a press-fit joint and to have a certain bending stiffness for stable rotation even at high speeds, larger diameters and high wall thicknesses are provided.
- AT 008 876 U2 discloses a three-part shaft of a test bench.
- a middle part of the shaft consists of a magnetically conductive material and serves as a return tube. Permanent magnetic poles are attached to the middle part itself.
- the object of the invention is to provide a rotor - for. B. for an electric motor - before striking, which is advantageous over the prior art.
- the object is achieved by a rotor shaft, an electric motor with a rotor shaft and a method for producing a rotor shaft.
- the object is achieved with a rotor, the shaft being made of an electrical sheet material at least in a central section which carries the laminated core.
- the high electrical and thermal losses known in the prior art are reduced according to the invention in that at least the section of the rotor which carries the laminated core and in which the said magnetic fields are thus generated consists of an electrical sheet material.
- the invention thus at least reduces losses that arise in the rotor shaft as a supporting element of the rotor. This is based on the consideration that the rotor shaft also transmits part of the magnetic flux and can therefore contribute to the losses mentioned above.
- Electrical sheet has special properties that are optimized for use in electric motors and transformers. These properties are e.g. B. is achieved by reducing the carbon content (less than 100 ppm) by dispensing with some alloying elements (e.g. chromium or titanium) or by adding other alloying elements (e.g. silicon or aluminum) in a certain proportion. Tests show, for example:
- electrical sheet By reducing carbon, electrical sheet generally has reduced strength and cannot usually be heat treated. However, it can be cold formed well because high strains are possible. The strength can even be increased by cold forming.
- the material of the middle section has the following properties in particular:
- the permeability is as large as possible.
- the shaft is partially designed, for example at least in the middle section, as a hollow shaft.
- the shaft consists of several components that are connected to one another. It is therefore a built shaft, the components of which are preferably connected to one another at least for the transmission of a torque.
- One embodiment of the rotor is that the components consist of different materials. This configuration makes it possible to use the most suitable materials for the different functions of the partial sections of the shaft.
- the shaft has the middle section and two end components, that the middle section is designed as a hollow shaft and carries the laminated core, and that the two end components are connected to the middle section are blind and consist of a material different from the electrical sheet material. For example, materials with a higher hardness or a higher strength are used for the end components.
- the end components consist of the same material and, in an alternative embodiment, differ from one another with regard to the material used.
- One embodiment of the rotor is that at least one of the two end components is partially arranged in the middle section.
- the middle section is at least partially hollow, so that at least one end component can be at least partially accommodated therein.
- the middle section is, for example, a precision tube.
- One embodiment provides that at least one of the two end components is connected to the central section via a force-fitting press fit and an axially adjoining knurled press fit.
- a type of hybrid connection is provided, which consists of two different types of press fit lying axially one behind the other.
- the aforementioned embodiment provides for the use of a hybrid connection.
- the non-positive press fit ensures a defined, play-free fit.
- the axially adjoining knurled toothing forms itself in the joining partner, which ensures a non-positive and positive connection, which above all allows the transmission of high torques.
- the invention achieves the object with an electric motor with a rotor according to one of the aforementioned configurations.
- the comments on the Variants of the rotor also apply accordingly to the electric motor with such a rotor.
- the invention achieves the object with a method for producing a rotor, preferably for an electric motor.
- the method has at least the steps that at least a central section of a shaft is at least partially produced from an electrical sheet material and that a laminated core is applied to the central section.
- the above configurations relating to the rotor also apply accordingly to the method and vice versa.
- An embodiment of the method includes that the shaft is produced from the middle section and two end components, that the middle section is at least partially made from an electrical sheet material, that the two end components are produced from a material that is different from the electrical sheet material, and that the two end components are connected to the middle section.

- the rotor has a shaft 1.
- the shaft 1 is z. B. in the case of application with rotatable components or z. B. connected to a transmission and transmits a torque to this.
