The present invention is based on the object of enabling the use of a seamlessly manufactured hose cloth as a face mask with a filter protection function, a better fit and better hearing performance.

This object is achieved in that a seamlessly manufactured tubular cloth has ear cutouts which can be cut out, punched out and / or sewn. The tubular face mask can also have a filter element in the mouth and nose area of a user, which can be round, angular or parabolic and also multi-layered and made of cotton, viscose, synthetic, mixed fabric or microfiltration fabric. The filter element can be connected to the hose cloth using a bonding process, welding, sewing or pressing process. The face mask advantageously has ergonomically perfect ear cutouts in the area of the user's ears, that is to say on both sides of the hose, which can be sewn or not sewn.

The tubular cloth has in particular a height of 10 to 26.5 cm, in particular 16.5 cm and a width of 19 to 29.5 cm, in particular 24.5 cm, and has side ear cutouts each 2 to 10 cm high , in particular of 5 cm and a depth of 0.5 to 5 cm, in particular 1.5 cm. This ear-free face mask thus adapts perfectly to the shape of the face for covering the mouth and nose area of a user and is therefore suitable for different activities and weather conditions to protect against external influences, in particular against pathogens.

The ear-free face mask can also be equipped with an antimicrobial protection before it is colored, so that the protection against pathogens can be increased.

The material of the face mask is individually printed in the dyeing process, ideally using a sublimation print. Alternatively, printing in a dye bath or padder or transfer screen printing can also be used.

In the nose / mouth area, a multi-layer fleece insert is placed from the inside for the filter function by bonding, pressing, sewing or welding. This fleece insert can be used round, square or in the form of a parabola.

By inserting the fleece on the inside of the cloth, another layer of fabric of the multifunctional cloth remains over the insert. Since the fabric on the outside of the face mask remains uniform and no incisions are made for filter cartridges which are then sewn or glued on, the risk of air or foreign bodies entering through these "seams" or "glue points" is reduced to zero.
