Description
- The present invention relates to a customizable dishwasher.
- In dishwashers, the cleaning process is carried out by delivering hot water and detergent onto the kitchen items. As the degree of dirt increases, the amount of hot water used, the temperature of the water and the washing time increase. Thus, it is aimed to take the kitchen items completely clean out of the dishwasher. The cleaning process varies according to the degree of dirt on the dishes. It is known that the most stubborn dirt on the dishes is the dirt originating from the consumption of animal products. High water temperature and extra washing time are required to remove dirt such as animal oil and eggs from dishes. Today, dietary habits vary in terms of both health and lifestyle adopted by people. Therefore, white goods are also expected to adapt to changing living conditions. The current washing programs consume too much time and energy for the dishes of the users who do not eat animal products. Therefore, it does not comply with the life style adopted by the user and causes extra energy and water consumption.
- In the state of the art Chinese Patent Application No.
CN109288472 , an environmentally-friendly dishwasher suitable for the Chinese diet is disclosed. - The aim of the present invention is the realization of a dishwasher which provides ease of use.
- The dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a body; a washing tub which is disposed in the body; a door which is provided on the body; at least one rack which is disposed in the washing tub; at least one spraying member which sprays water onto the rack; and a control panel which is disposed on the door. The user can select the washing programs by means of the control panel. By means of the water delivered onto the kitchen items through the spraying members, the cleaning process is performed.
- The dishwasher comprises a control button provided on the control panel. The control button enables the user to define his/her dietary habits.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a control unit which optimizes the washing programs by means of the information received from the control button. The washing programs are enabled to be optimized at certain intervals depending on the dietary habit selected from the control button. Thus, energy and water consumption is decreased.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a control unit which enables the operation programs to be divided into at least three levels and the levels to be used depending on the type of diet selected by the user. The operation programs are divided into levels at certain intervals. Depending on the type of diet selected by the user, one level of the selected program is executed.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the control unit which enables the operation programs to be divided into a first level, a second level and a third level. In the first level, the water temperature is the least and the program duration is the shortest. The first level is used to clean dishes suitable for the plant-based diet. In the second level, the water temperature and program duration are higher than the first level. The third level is the level closest to the normal program values. Thus, the vegetarian users save energy and time by performing the washing process at the second level, and the pescetarian users at the third level.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the control button which retains the selected diet preference until it is canceled by the user. Thus, the user does not need to make a selection for each use, and the washing programs are optimized depending on the level selected.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the control unit which enables the programs to be performed at normal values when the control button is not active. If the user does not have a special diet, he/she may not make a selection via the control button. In this case, the programs are performed at recommended values.
- By means of the present invention, a dishwasher is realized, which can perform a washing program suitable for different eating styles .
- A dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
-
Figure 1 - is the perspective view of the dishwasher. -
Figure 2 - is the front view of the dishwasher. - The elements illustrated in the figures are numbered as follows:
- 1. Dishwasher
- 2. Body
- 3. Washing tub
- 4. Door
- 5. Rack
- 6. Spraying member
- 7. Control panel
- 8. Control button
- 9. Control unit
- The dishwasher (1) comprises a body (2); a washing tub (3) which is disposed in the body (2) and wherein the washing process is performed; a door (4) which isolates the washing tub (3) from the outer environment; at least one rack (5) which is disposed in the washing tub (3) and whereon the kitchen items are placed; at least one spraying member (6) which sprays water onto the rack (5); and a control panel (7) which is provided on the door (4) and which enables the user to control the operational programs. The Dirty kitchen items are placed on the rack (5) and cleaned by the water delivered by the spraying member (6). In order for a short and efficient cleaning process, the temperature of the water, before being delivered, is increased. By means of the control panel (7) provided on the door (4), the user can perform activities such as opening, closing and program selection.
- The dishwasher (1) of the present invention comprises a control button (8) which is provided on the control panel (7) and which enables the user to make a selection and define his/her dietary habit. By means of the control button (8), the user can define his/her dietary habit. The control button (8) can be a knob, slide or button. Dietary options can be presented to the user on a touch screen, thus enabling him/her to make a selection. Thus, the dishwasher (1) records the dietary habit of the user.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises a control unit (9) which enables the operation programs to be optimized depending on the dietary habit selected by the user via the control button (8). The washing programs are enabled to be optimized depending on the dietary habit defined by the user. Thus, the lower levels of the lowest program are recommended to the users who adopt a plant-based diet, providing energy and water savings.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the control unit (9) which enables the operation programs to be divided into at least three levels and the levels to be associated with the dietary habits selected by the user. The programs are divided into at least three levels depending on the diet habit selected by the user. The three levels can be considered as vegan diet, vegetarian diet, and pescetarian diet.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the control unit (9) which divides the operation programs into a first level wherein the water temperature is at the lowest level and the washing time is the shortest, a second level wherein the water temperature and the washing time are higher than the first level, and a third level wherein the water temperature is less than the temperature recommended by the program. and the washing time is shorter than the time recommended by the program. The first level can be considered as vegan diet. Since in the vegan diet, no animal products including egg and dairy products are not consumed, the dishes are enabled to be cleaned at the lowest temperature in a shorter time. The washing process at the lowest level of the lowest program selected is sufficient to clean such dishes. In the vegetarian diet, which corresponds to the second level, there can be dirt caused by eggs and dairy products, but there are meat dirt which are the most difficult to clean. Thus, the washing process at a slightly lower level than the selected program can be performed. The third level contains water temperature and washing duration values which are closest to the normal program values.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the control button (8) which keeps the selected dietary habit until it is canceled by the user. The control button (8) enables the dishwasher (1) to recognize the user. By eliminating the need for the user to make a selection before each operation, ease of use is provided.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the control unit (9) which enables the programs to be performed at standard values when the control button (8) is not active. When the user changes his/her dietary habit or needs to wash dishes containing dirt caused by animal products, he/she cancels the selection made via the control button (8). Thus, the programs are operated at normal values.
- By means of the present invention, a dishwasher (1) is realized, which offers a variety of programs depending on dietary habits. By means of the control button (8), the user can define his/her dietary habit. The selection is made only once via the control button (8), and the control button (8) remains active until the user cancels his/her selection. By means of the dietary habit defined without making a selection before each operation, ease of use is provided. Moreover, energy and water savings are provided by optimizing the water temperature and the washing time according to the selected dietary habit.
