Consequently, by having variable parameter values, it is possibly to lower the number of pre-matured handovers, i.e. handovers happening too early, causing possibly back and forth handovers, and the number of too much delayed hando vers, causing possible call/connection drops.

Abstract

Pour accélérer un transfert intercellulaire dans certaines zones, une cellule de desserte détermine, sur la base au moins de rapports de mesure reçus en provenance d'un dispositif utilisateur, une ou plusieurs cellules candidates et des paramètres définissant des critères de transfert, et les envoie au dispositif utilisateur. En outre, les cellules candidates sont préparées pour le transfert intercellulaire. Le dispositif utilisateur surveille, si l'une quelconque des cellules candidates remplit les critères de transfert intercellulaire, et si une cellule candidate remplit les critères de transfert intercellulaire, le dispositif utilisateur déclenche un transfert vers la cellule candidate.
