Description

    AN OVEN COMPRISING PLUG HOLDER
  • The present invention relates to a plug holder avoiding disorder of plugs at ovens and enabling the plugs to rest in a rear housing.
  • Rear housings are provided in ovens, protecting an oven cavity from external elements and disposed on the rear portion of said cavity. A plug is provided on the rear housing, enabling installing from the grid the electrical connection required to operate the oven.
  • The positions of the plugs provided in said ovens cannot be contained during packaging of the ovens. The inability to restrain the plugs may cause the plugs to break due to being stuck under the oven during operations such as transportation, packaging or assembly of the oven. Also, the positions of the cables and plugs on an oven cannot be determined due to the length of electrical connection cables.
  • State of the art patent document no. CN1955590 defines a fastening card made of elastic plastic material for fastening power cables.
  • The aim of the present invention is to hold the plugs provided on the rear housings of ovens, in an orderly manner to determine the positions of the plugs and cables on the ovens, and to thereby prevent them from being broken during operations such as transportation, packaging and assembly of the ovens.
  • The oven realized to achieve the aim of the present invention and disclosed in the first claim and the dependent claims, comprises a cavity, a rear housing provided to protect the rear region of the cavity from external elements, a plug connected to the rear housing, enabling electrical connection of the oven, and a plug holder provided on the rear housing to determine the position of the plug on the oven.
  • In an embodiment of the invention, a cut-out is provided on the oven and the plugs are enabled to fit into said cut-out, thereby determining the position of the plugs on the oven. Determining the position of the plugs on the oven prevents the plugs from being broken due to being stuck under the oven during transportation, packaging or assembly of the oven.
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the plug holder provided on the rear housing of the oven is adapted for oven plugs of different countries. Thus, different plugs may be placed on the plug holder by means of a single cut-out without requiring a separate apparatus for different countries.
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the plug cables enabling electrical connection are enabled to be held together by means of a cable winding apparatus. Disorder of the plug and the cables during relocation or packaging of the oven is thus avoided.
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the plug holder is placed on the rear housing by means of a connection apparatus. The position of the plug on the oven is thus determined during transportation, assembly or packaging of the oven.
  • In another embodiment of the invention, a cable winding apparatus is used, enabling holding the cable on the plug holder. After placement of the plug on the plug holder, the cable is wound in an orderly manner, and is tightened after being engaged on the cable winding apparatus. Disorder of the cables is thus averted.
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the plug holder apparatus is adhered by magnetic effect on the rear housing of the oven. By this, the position of the plug on the oven is clearly determined by adhering the plug holder on a desired location on the rear housing of the oven.
  • An oven realized to achieve the aims of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
  • Figure 1 is a perspective view of an oven.
  • Figure 2 is a partial perspective view of the oven in an embodiment of the invention.
  • Figure 3 is a perspective view of the oven rear housing and the cable winding apparatus.
  • Figure 4 is a perspective view of the oven rear housing and the connection apparatus.
  • The elements in the figures are numbered individually and the correspondence of these numbers are given hereinafter.

    2. Oven cavity
    3. Oven rear housing
    4. Plug
    5. Plug holder
    6. Cable winding apparatus
    7. Connection apparatus

    9. Magnet
  • The oven (1) comprises
    • an oven cavity (2),
    • a rear housing (3) provided on the rear portion of the oven cavity (2), and
    • a plug (4) enabling electrical connection.
  • The oven (1) of the invention comprises a plug holder (5) provided on the rear housing (3), in which the plug (4) enabling electrical connection is placed. The oven (1) comprises the cavity (2) used for cooking foods products therein. In addition, a rear housing (3) is provided on the rear portion of the cavity (2), protecting the cavity (2) from external elements. A plug (4) is provided on the rear housing (3), enabling installing from the grid the electrical connection required to operate the oven (1) for cooking. The positions of the plugs (4) provided in ovens (1) cannot be contained during packaging of the ovens (1). The inability to restrain the plugs (4) may cause the plugs (4) to break due to being stuck under the oven (1) during operations such as disposal, disassembly or packaging of the oven (1). Also, the positions of the cables and plugs (4) on an oven (1) cannot be determined due to the length of electrical connection cables. In this embodiment, a cut-out is provided on the rear housing (3) to determine the position of the plug (4). The plug (4) is fastened on the rear housing (3) by being placed in this cut-out referred to as the plug holder (5). The plug (4) and its cable are thus arranged in an orderly manner. Moreover, the plug (4) is prevented from breaking due to being stuck under the oven (1) in a likely transportation, disassembly, packaging or assembly operation of the oven (1).
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the oven (1) comprises a plurality of openings disposed on the plug holder (5), enabling placement of different types of plugs (4) used in various countries. This enables realizing a structure adapted for different plugs (4) without requiring an additional part.
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the oven (1) comprises a cable winding apparatus (6) on which the cable connected to the plug (4) is placed by being wound thereon. The cable winding apparatus (6) enables keeping the cables in a smaller volume by winding. After placement of the plug (4) on the plug holder (5), the plug (4) cable is wound in an orderly manner, and is tightened after being engaged on the cable winding apparatus (6). This enables keeping the cables in an orderly manner along with the plug (4). Disorder of the plug (4) and the cables connected to the plug (4) is thus avoided during relocation or packaging of the oven (1).
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the oven (1) comprises a connection apparatus (7) enabling the plug holder (5) to be detachably placed on the rear housing (3). The position of the plug (4) on the oven (1) is thus enabled to be determined during transportation, assembly or packaging of the oven (1) by means of this apparatus (7).
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the oven (1) comprises a magnet (9) provided on the connection apparatus (7), enabling the connection apparatus (7) to be attached on the rear housing (3). In this embodiment, the connection apparatus (7) is attached on a desired location on the rear housing (3) of the oven (1) by magnetic effect. The connection apparatus (7) and the rear housing (3) are made of materials exhibiting magnetization. Thus, the connection apparatus (7) and the rear housing (3) join by magnetization when brought sufficiently close to each other. This enables attaching the connection apparatus (7) on a desired location on the rear housing (3) of the oven (1). The position of the plug (4) on the oven (1) can thus be adjusted as desired.
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the plug holder (7) may be disposed on the rear housing (3) as well as the side housings of the oven (1). This enables placing the plug (4) on any desired position on the oven (1).
  • A cut-out is provided on the rear housing (3) of the oven (1) to determine the position of the plug (4) provided at the oven (1). The plug (4) is fastened on the rear housing (3) by being placed in this cut-out referred to as the plug holder (5). This enables determining the position of the plug (4) and its cable on the oven (1) and arranging the plug (4) and the cable in an orderly manner. The plug (4) is prevented from breaking due to being stuck under the oven (1) in a likely transportation, disassembly, packaging or assembly operation of the oven (1).
