Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for machine packaging of a packaging material in a shipping bag made of paper-shaped packaging material, a packaging machine for packaging packaging material in a shipping bag made of paper-shaped packaging material, and a shipping bag made of a paper-shaped packaging material.
- Mailers made of paper-shaped packaging material are known. These are shipping packaging for relatively flat and small shipping goods, such as small mechanical or electronic parts, textiles, brochures, etc., with ready-made shipping bags into which a product is subsequently inserted, usually provided with a closure on one side. The following are shipping bags that are only formed into shipping bags during the packaging of a packaged item.
- Paper-shaped packaging material is understood to mean essentially pure paper material, although this can also be paper-like material made from materials other than wood-based fiber, but has the properties with regard to properties suitable for packaging, such as strength, foldability, etc.
- Such shipping bags are available in different sizes, which have to be selected according to the size of the product when shipping.
- objects of different sizes in particular in mail order via the Internet, it is known to pack objects of different sizes as packaged goods through opaque film packaging, the film bags being adapted to the product size.
- the packaged goods can be textile objects or any other objects of any shape that are suitable in terms of size to be sent in a shipping bag and meet the size requirements of the transport company.
- From the EP 580 015 A1 is a machine designed for packing plate-shaped workpieces with plastic films.
- the packaging material is conveyed from top to bottom, the lower end lying loosely in the machine and then pulled along by the plate-shaped workpiece, so that ultimately a banderole-shaped packaging is created.
- the closure of the loose end is carried out with a subsequent separate station, with a corner transfer being carried out beforehand.
- the products must have inherent rigidity for this packaging.
- the present invention is based on the object of proposing a possibility with which products of different sizes and of different types in terms of dimensions and shapes, in particular flexible products, can be packed in a special mailer made of paper packaging material in a variable, chaotic manner.
- the packaging material is transported horizontally to a vertical packaging material web and moved in the transport direction of the packaging material into a packaging material web perpendicular to the transport direction, so that the packaging material comes to rest on the packaging material web or the packaging material during further transport. Then a first lower end of the packaging material web pointing in the transport direction is placed above the packaged goods on a counter holder and a second upper packaging material web end pointing against the transport direction is arranged and connected to the first lower end of the material web.
- connection of the ends of the packaging material web on the upper side can take place by means of a glue, in particular hot glue or an adhesive.
- the upper side is preferably fastened to the lower side in order to avoid problems in the subsequent further processing due to a possibly protruding packaging material end and the risk of opening the packaging material envelope.
- the packaging is transported on and then closed on the open long sides with a sealing seam that is made by machine using a thread. Since the sealing seam is closed by machine, it is known to close with two threads, a needle thread visible on top and a looper thread visible on the underside.
- the term thread will therefore also be used in the following in connection with machine sewing, even if it is actually two threads.
- the closure can be done, for example, with textile threads or plastic threads.
- packaging material is also used generally in the text and the term packaging material web is used in relation to the piece of packaging material cut to length and used for packaging.
- the packaging material is cut parallel to the sealing seam on both sides on the side of the sealing seam facing away from the packaged goods, so that the distance from the sealing seam to the edge of the shipping bag is not unnecessarily wide.
- the height, width and length of the packaging material is measured before reaching the packaging material web and from this the required width of the packaging material is determined and optionally selected and the length of the packaging material web is determined.
- the packaging material is pulled off a roll with a predetermined width that is sufficient for all packaging goods to be packaged and cut according to the determined length and is then, as mentioned above, available for packing perpendicular to the transport direction.
- several widths of packaging material can also be made available, so that the packaging material that uses the least packaging material is selected depending on the width and height of the packaging material. This saves packaging material and reduces waste.
- the determined length of the packaged goods is used to position the goods by a path control of a following discharge belt on which the packaged goods come to lie on the packaging material web. Furthermore, the position of the sealing seam and, if necessary, the position for cutting off excess packaging material are determined and set from the height and width determined at the beginning. Successive packaged goods with different dimensions can thus be automatically packaged, whereby it is ensured that the protrusion between the packaged goods and the edge of the shipping bag is as small as possible and in accordance with the regulations of the transport company, because an adaptation takes place in the width when making the sealing seam and cutting off the excess packaging material.
- the ends of the packaging material web are expediently glued or glued to one another, the adhesive or glue preferably being applied to the upper end of the packaging material web.
- the packaging material envelope with the packaging material is advantageously compressed on the two open sides by means of a pulling device and fed to a device producing a sealing seam on both sides of the packaging material web.
- This is a sewing machine that sews the two open sides with a separate thread.
- a skipped stitch is preferably produced for a later opening of the sealing seam by blowing the needle thread through a blower device and thus changing its position so that the looper thread does not get through the loop of the needle thread.
- the superfluous packaging material is cut off parallel to the sewing, as explained above. The cutting can be done at the same time or after sewing.
- the transport of the packaged goods takes place in one line during the entire packaging process without corner transfers or other changes of direction.
- an infeed belt for feeding the goods to be packaged thereon to a packaging unit and a subsequent outfeed belt, the packaging unit enveloping the packaged goods with the packaging material on the front sides and the top and bottom with a banderole-shaped packaging material envelope closed on the upper side.
- a closing unit which is connected to the discharge belt and which closes the packaging material envelope on the open longitudinal sides with a closing seam that is made by machine using a thread.
- the packaging unit has an upper and a lower vertically and horizontally movable peel bar that can be rotated about its longitudinal axis and can be subjected to vacuum.
- the lower peel bar serves to pull the packaging material web off a roll
- the upper peel bar serves to grip the other end of the packaging material web, the packaging material web being cut off at the upper peel bar. This can be done by means of a cutting device directly on the peel-off strip or a separate cutting device. Preferably hot glue is also preferably applied at this point.
- the pull-off strips serve to tension the packaging material in a plane perpendicular to the transport direction of the packaging material between the infeed belt and the outfeed belt, if necessary to position it in the vertical direction with regard to the length of the packaging material so that the packaging material is the correct distance from the packaging material web ends and after the packaging material has entered the plane of the packaging material web, it is carried along and overlapping an upper and a lower end of the packaging material web can be placed on a counter holder above the discharge belt after the packaging material has passed through the level of the packaging material web and on the packaging material or the packaging material web is lying on the discharge belt.
- the lower peel bar is rotated by 270 ° in the transport direction and the upper peel bar by 90 ° against the transport direction.
- the counterholder is required in particular because flexible, in particular textile materials should also be able to be packaged and therefore a counterpressure surface must be available for connecting the ends of the material web.
- the counter holder is expediently positioned at a small distance from the top of the packaged goods in order, on the one hand, not to burden the packaged goods and, on the other hand, to use as little packaging material as possible. Since any random products are packaged in a chaotic manner, the counter holder is required for all flexible products that do not have a flat surface. Only in the case of more rigid, flat products, such as catalogs, etc., could the counter holder be dispensed with in principle. However is the optional use is time-consuming, so that with a chaotic product type sequence, a permanent change to with and without counter holder and the available time does not appear expedient.
- the packaging machine according to the invention expediently has a first packaging material store with a first packaging material with a first width and at least one further packaging material store with a second packaging material with a second width.
- a fixing strip that can be moved in the vertical direction and can be subjected to negative pressure corresponding to the width of the packaging material to be packaged is provided in order to suck in the end of the packaging material in question, pull it off in the vertical direction from the packaging material store and transfer it to the lower pull-off strip.
- the fixing strip advantageously has suction nozzles which are subdivided into areas corresponding to the widths of the packaging materials, so that precisely the area of the respectively required width is sucked in.
- the transfer takes place by blowing off the packaging material from the vertically moving fixing strip to a stationary fixing strip that sucks and holds the end of the packaging material until it is picked up by the lower peel strip and moved on to carry out the packaging process described above. If there are more than two different packaging materials, this is done accordingly, whereby it must also be ensured here that the packaging material with the smallest width is closest to the fixing strip and the other packaging materials with increasing width of the packaging material are located behind it.
- the closing unit of the packaging machine according to the invention preferably has a cutting device which removes excess packaging material cuts off the sealing seam on the side facing away from the packaged goods.
- the cutting device can be arranged such that it cuts off the excess packaging material in parallel when the sealing seam is produced. It is also possible to cut off after the sealing seam has been produced.
- the packaging machine particularly preferably has a measuring device for measuring the height, width and length of the goods to be packaged before they reach the packaging unit. These data are important when successively different packaged goods, which also have different dimensions, are to be continuously packaged and, if necessary, different widths of the packaging material are to be used.
- the packaging machine then has a control device that uses the data supplied by the measuring device to calculate the length of the packaging material web required for packaging the packaging material, determines the width of the packaging material and, if necessary, selects the suitable packaging material that ensures that the packaging material is suitable for the
- the packaging material envelope comes to rest correctly on the packaging material web, and the closing unit is adjusted accordingly transversely to the transport direction.
- After calculating the length of the packaging material web for the respective packaged goods it is cut off with the required length from a storage device, for example a drum. Since it is important that the packaging material is positioned centrally at the ends of the packaging material web, the packaging material web is correspondingly positioned in the vertical direction before the packaging material enters the length of the packaging material.
- the required width of the packaging material web or the mailer is also known, so that the closing unit is positioned according to the height and across the transport device so that the sealing seams on both sides are arranged at the same distance from the packaging material.
- the cutting device is automatically positioned at the same time, preferably the distance between the cutting device and the sealing seams on both sides is the same for all shipping bags.
- the packaging machine is adjusted fully automatically to the respective packaged goods, so that the packaged goods can be packed in a shipping bag in a chaotic order.
- the closing unit is designed as a sewing machine for sewing the packaging material on the open sides of the packaging material envelope with one thread each. This enables the use of textile threads or natural fibers in different colors to create a visually appealing or specially marked mailing bag.
- a device on the sewing machine for generating a skipped stitch at a predetermined point in time. This is expediently done by means of a blowing device which changes the position of the needle thread at a certain position by blowing it against the needle thread so that the looper thread does not hit the loop formed by the needle thread.
- the mailer according to the invention made of a paper-shaped packaging material has a banderole-shaped packaging material envelope with a sealing seam arranged on the two open sides of the banderole-shaped packaging material envelope and is exclusively closed with this.
- the closure is machine-made by means of a, preferably textile, thread, which is particularly simple and for a visually appealing or specially marked mailer.
- Such a mailer as stated above, can be produced particularly advantageously by machine.
- the closure seam has a skipped stitch, so that there is a defect in the seam which enables the closure seam to be opened easily.
- the ends of the packaging material envelope overlap on a flat side of the mailer and are glued or glued there. As described above, this is the upper flat side when the packaged goods are in the shipping bag.
- packaged goods of different sizes can be packaged with a precise fit in shipping bags of different sizes made of paper material.
- the mailer is overlapped on the top and preferably sewn on the left and right.
- Such packaging has considerable advantages over the previously known film packaging with regard to sustainability and also disposal.
- Another advantage lies in the better automation capability of the consignment of goods packed with the paper-like packaging material compared to film packaging, since such packaging has a higher inherent rigidity than film packaging.
- the address can be printed directly on the paper.
- FIG. 1 The schematic representation in the Figures 1 and 2 a packaging machine 1 according to the invention for packaging a packaging item 3 in a shipping pouch 17 made of packaging paper 10 show a horizontal loading belt 2 for the packaging item 3, which is shown as a package in the exemplary embodiment.
- this can be any packaging item 3, including flexible and / or textile packaging items 3.
- the direction of transport is indicated by arrow 4.
- an infeed belt 5 Following the loading belt 2 is an infeed belt 5, which feeds the packaged goods 3 to a packaging unit 6.
- a measuring device 11 At the infeed belt is a measuring device 11 with which the length, width and height of the packaging material 3 is optically measured in the exemplary embodiment and transmitted to a control unit 12.
- the packaging unit 6 has an upper pull-off strip 7 and a lower pull-off strip 8 with which the packaging paper 10 unwound from a roll 9 is held and packaged for the packaging.
- Figure 1 further shows the packaging material 3 that has already passed through the vertical plane of the packaging paper web 10 ', so that the end face and parts as from the Figures 1 and 2 visible top and bottom are wrapped.
- the packaging paper web 10 ′ is arranged between the infeed belt 5 and an outfeed belt 14 and perpendicular to these and the transport direction 4.
- a closing unit 18 Adjacent to the discharge belt 14 is a closing unit 18 which, in the exemplary embodiment, comprises a multi-lane conveyor belt 15 with laterally arranged preferred belts 16, 16 'extending in the transport direction 4, a sewing machine 19 and a cutting device 20.
- the preferred belts 16, 16 ′ are jointly adjustable in height on both sides of the conveyor belt 15 in order to adapt them to the corresponding height of the goods to be packaged 3.
- the preferred belts 16, 16 ' are circumferential belts arranged one above the other, which clamp and compress the packaging paper 10 at the outer edge between them in order to feed it in this state in this embodiment to the sewing machines 19 arranged on both sides of the multi-lane transport of the 15, which the open To sew sides of the mailer 17 by means of a thread unwound from a memory 25.
- a cutting device 20 cuts off protruding and excess packaging material 10 at a defined distance from the sealing seam 21 on the side of the sealing seam 21 facing away from the packaging material 3. In the exemplary embodiment, the cutting takes place after the closure seam 21 has been produced.
- the completed mailer 17 with the packaged goods 3 then has a banderole-shaped packaging paper envelope 23 overlapping on the upper side in the area 22 and closure seams 21 sewn with threads on the sides.
- Figure 3 shows in an end view the sewing machines 19 arranged on both sides of the conveyor belt 15 with a thread store 25, which can be moved in the directions of the arrows in relation to the packaging material 3 located on the conveyor belt 15, and the cutting device 20.
- FIG 4 the process for creating the banderole-shaped packaging paper envelope 23 is shown in somewhat more detail.
- the packaging material 3 is at the end of the infeed belt 5 and the lower peel bar 8 has sucked the lower end 27 of the packaging paper 10 unwound from the roll 9 by means of a vacuum and pulls it into the space between the infeed belt 5 and the outlet belt 14. According to the length of the The packaging paper web 10 'engages the upper peel bar 7 of the packaging paper web 10. With the cutting knife 13, the packaging paper 10 is separated above the upper peel bar 7 and glue is applied to the upper end 28 of the packaging paper web 10' by means of the glue nozzle 24.
- the packaging paper webs 10 ' can then be positioned in the vertical direction for the correct position in relation to the packaging goods 3 ( Figure 4B ).
- the packaging material 3 has entered the plane formed by the packaging paper web 10 ', so that the packaging paper web 10' envelops the front side and part of the top and the bottom of the packaging material 3.
- the upper end 28 of the packaging paper web 10 ' is also held in place by means of an upper pull-off strip 7 that can be acted upon by a vacuum.

Such shipping bags are available in different sizes, which have to be selected according to the size of the product when shipping. In particular in mail order via the Internet, it is known to pack objects of different sizes as packaged goods through opaque film packaging, the film bags being adapted to the product size. The packaged goods can be textile objects or any other objects of any shape that are suitable in terms of size to be sent in a shipping bag and meet the size requirements of the transport company.

The present invention is based on the object of proposing a possibility with which products of different sizes and of different types in terms of dimensions and shapes, in particular flexible products, can be packed in a special mailer made of paper packaging material in a variable, chaotic manner.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a method according to
According to the inventive method, the packaging material is transported horizontally to a vertical packaging material web and moved in the transport direction of the packaging material into a packaging material web perpendicular to the transport direction, so that the packaging material comes to rest on the packaging material web or the packaging material during further transport. Then a first lower end of the packaging material web pointing in the transport direction is placed above the packaged goods on a counter holder and a second upper packaging material web end pointing against the transport direction is arranged and connected to the first lower end of the material web. This creates a banderole-shaped packaging material envelope enveloping the packaged goods on the top and bottom as well as the front and rear sides with two opposing open longitudinal sides protruding laterally over the packaged goods and pointing transversely to the transport direction. The connection of the ends of the packaging material web on the upper side can take place by means of a glue, in particular hot glue or an adhesive. The upper side is preferably fastened to the lower side in order to avoid problems in the subsequent further processing due to a possibly protruding packaging material end and the risk of opening the packaging material envelope. Next, the packaging is transported on and then closed on the open long sides with a sealing seam that is made by machine using a thread. Since the sealing seam is closed by machine, it is known to close with two threads, a needle thread visible on top and a looper thread visible on the underside. The term thread will therefore also be used in the following in connection with machine sewing, even if it is actually two threads. The closure can be done, for example, with textile threads or plastic threads. It is also possible to insert a strip of adhesive tape within the sealing seam so that the mailer can be resealed, for example for a return shipment. The term packaging material is also used generally in the text and the term packaging material web is used in relation to the piece of packaging material cut to length and used for packaging.
According to a further embodiment of the method, the packaging material is cut parallel to the sealing seam on both sides on the side of the sealing seam facing away from the packaged goods, so that the distance from the sealing seam to the edge of the shipping bag is not unnecessarily wide.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the method, the height, width and length of the packaging material is measured before reaching the packaging material web and from this the required width of the packaging material is determined and optionally selected and the length of the packaging material web is determined. Usually, the packaging material is pulled off a roll with a predetermined width that is sufficient for all packaging goods to be packaged and cut according to the determined length and is then, as mentioned above, available for packing perpendicular to the transport direction. Preferably, several widths of packaging material can also be made available, so that the packaging material that uses the least packaging material is selected depending on the width and height of the packaging material. This saves packaging material and reduces waste. So that the position of the packaged goods can be correctly positioned according to their length to the packaging material ends, the determined length of the packaged goods is used to position the goods by a path control of a following discharge belt on which the packaged goods come to lie on the packaging material web.
The ends of the packaging material web are expediently glued or glued to one another, the adhesive or glue preferably being applied to the upper end of the packaging material web.
The packaging material envelope with the packaging material is advantageously compressed on the two open sides by means of a pulling device and fed to a device producing a sealing seam on both sides of the packaging material web. This is a sewing machine that sews the two open sides with a separate thread. A skipped stitch is preferably produced for a later opening of the sealing seam by blowing the needle thread through a blower device and thus changing its position so that the looper thread does not get through the loop of the needle thread. By pulling the lower looper thread at this point and then pulling on the upper needle thread, the mailer can then be opened easily. Depending on requirements, the superfluous packaging material is cut off parallel to the sewing, as explained above. The cutting can be done at the same time or after sewing. The transport of the packaged goods takes place in one line during the entire packaging process without corner transfers or other changes of direction.
In the packaging machine according to the invention, an infeed belt is provided for feeding the goods to be packaged thereon to a packaging unit and a subsequent outfeed belt, the packaging unit enveloping the packaged goods with the packaging material on the front sides and the top and bottom with a banderole-shaped packaging material envelope closed on the upper side. In addition, there is a closing unit which is connected to the discharge belt and which closes the packaging material envelope on the open longitudinal sides with a closing seam that is made by machine using a thread. For making the packing material envelope the packaging unit has an upper and a lower vertically and horizontally movable peel bar that can be rotated about its longitudinal axis and can be subjected to vacuum. The lower peel bar serves to pull the packaging material web off a roll, and the upper peel bar serves to grip the other end of the packaging material web, the packaging material web being cut off at the upper peel bar. This can be done by means of a cutting device directly on the peel-off strip or a separate cutting device. Preferably hot glue is also preferably applied at this point. Furthermore, the pull-off strips serve to tension the packaging material in a plane perpendicular to the transport direction of the packaging material between the infeed belt and the outfeed belt, if necessary to position it in the vertical direction with regard to the length of the packaging material so that the packaging material is the correct distance from the packaging material web ends and after the packaging material has entered the plane of the packaging material web, it is carried along and overlapping an upper and a lower end of the packaging material web can be placed on a counter holder above the discharge belt after the packaging material has passed through the level of the packaging material web and on the packaging material or the packaging material web is lying on the discharge belt. The lower peel bar is rotated by 270 ° in the transport direction and the upper peel bar by 90 ° against the transport direction. The counterholder is required in particular because flexible, in particular textile materials should also be able to be packaged and therefore a counterpressure surface must be available for connecting the ends of the material web. The counter holder is expediently positioned at a small distance from the top of the packaged goods in order, on the one hand, not to burden the packaged goods and, on the other hand, to use as little packaging material as possible.
The use of at least two packaging materials of different widths, which are selected depending on the width of the goods to be packaged, is particularly environmentally friendly and conserves resources. This can significantly reduce the waste of packaging material. Since the shape and size of the packaged goods can be different from the previous one for each part, it is therefore extremely advantageous to be able to adapt the width of the packaging material. The packaging machine according to the invention expediently has a first packaging material store with a first packaging material with a first width and at least one further packaging material store with a second packaging material with a second width. Furthermore, a fixing strip that can be moved in the vertical direction and can be subjected to negative pressure corresponding to the width of the packaging material to be packaged is provided in order to suck in the end of the packaging material in question, pull it off in the vertical direction from the packaging material store and transfer it to the lower pull-off strip. For this purpose, the fixing strip advantageously has suction nozzles which are subdivided into areas corresponding to the widths of the packaging materials, so that precisely the area of the respectively required width is sucked in. The transfer takes place by blowing off the packaging material from the vertically moving fixing strip to a stationary fixing strip that sucks and holds the end of the packaging material until it is picked up by the lower peel strip and moved on to carry out the packaging process described above. If there are more than two different packaging materials, this is done accordingly, whereby it must also be ensured here that the packaging material with the smallest width is closest to the fixing strip and the other packaging materials with increasing width of the packaging material are located behind it.
The closing unit of the packaging machine according to the invention preferably has a cutting device which removes excess packaging material cuts off the sealing seam on the side facing away from the packaged goods. The cutting device can be arranged such that it cuts off the excess packaging material in parallel when the sealing seam is produced. It is also possible to cut off after the sealing seam has been produced.
The packaging machine particularly preferably has a measuring device for measuring the height, width and length of the goods to be packaged before they reach the packaging unit. These data are important when successively different packaged goods, which also have different dimensions, are to be continuously packaged and, if necessary, different widths of the packaging material are to be used.
Correspondingly, the packaging machine then has a control device that uses the data supplied by the measuring device to calculate the length of the packaging material web required for packaging the packaging material, determines the width of the packaging material and, if necessary, selects the suitable packaging material that ensures that the packaging material is suitable for the The packaging material envelope comes to rest correctly on the packaging material web, and the closing unit is adjusted accordingly transversely to the transport direction. After calculating the length of the packaging material web for the respective packaged goods, it is cut off with the required length from a storage device, for example a drum. Since it is important that the packaging material is positioned centrally at the ends of the packaging material web, the packaging material web is correspondingly positioned in the vertical direction before the packaging material enters the length of the packaging material. Due to the width and the height of the packaging material, the required width of the packaging material web or the mailer is also known, so that the closing unit is positioned according to the height and across the transport device so that the sealing seams on both sides are arranged at the same distance from the packaging material. The cutting device is automatically positioned at the same time, preferably the distance between the cutting device and the sealing seams on both sides is the same for all shipping bags. As a result, the packaging machine is adjusted fully automatically to the respective packaged goods, so that the packaged goods can be packed in a shipping bag in a chaotic order.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the packaging machine, the closing unit is designed as a sewing machine for sewing the packaging material on the open sides of the packaging material envelope with one thread each. This enables the use of textile threads or natural fibers in different colors to create a visually appealing or specially marked mailing bag.
So that the mailer can be opened easily, there is a device on the sewing machine for generating a skipped stitch at a predetermined point in time. This is expediently done by means of a blowing device which changes the position of the needle thread at a certain position by blowing it against the needle thread so that the looper thread does not hit the loop formed by the needle thread.
According to the above method or the above packaging machine and its function, the mailer according to the invention made of a paper-shaped packaging material has a banderole-shaped packaging material envelope with a sealing seam arranged on the two open sides of the banderole-shaped packaging material envelope and is exclusively closed with this. The closure is machine-made by means of a, preferably textile, thread, which is particularly simple and for a visually appealing or specially marked mailer. Such a mailer, as stated above, can be produced particularly advantageously by machine.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the closure seam has a skipped stitch, so that there is a defect in the seam which enables the closure seam to be opened easily. According to a further embodiment, the ends of the packaging material envelope overlap on a flat side of the mailer and are glued or glued there. As described above, this is the upper flat side when the packaged goods are in the shipping bag.
According to the invention, packaged goods of different sizes can be packaged with a precise fit in shipping bags of different sizes made of paper material. The mailer is overlapped on the top and preferably sewn on the left and right. Such packaging has considerable advantages over the previously known film packaging with regard to sustainability and also disposal. Another advantage lies in the better automation capability of the consignment of goods packed with the paper-like packaging material compared to film packaging, since such packaging has a higher inherent rigidity than film packaging. In addition, in the case of paper packaging, the address can be printed directly on the paper.
