Description

SEALED WIPER ARM
The invention relates to a wiper arm with sealing properties used at the engineering vehicles, tractors and agricultural vehicles, forklifts and other automotive sector.
Technical Field of the Invention
The technical field relates to a wiper arm used at the engineering vehicles, tractors and agricultural vehicles, forklifts and other automotive sector.
State of the Art
The bellows system used at the wiper arm used at the engineering vehicles, tractors and agricultural vehicles, forklifts and other automotive sector in order to ensure sealing is assembled during installation of the wiper arm and is removed during assembly of the same. Therefore, the bellows system cannot be fit securely during assembly or suffers deformation due to user errors. As a result of this, the bellows system no longer ensures sealing and the wiper arm becomes inoperable due to ingress of water, dust, etc.
Brief Description of the Invention
In order to allow assembly of the sealing bellows system without removing from its slot, the invention ensures that the wiper arm is fitted into slots arranged on the bellows system by virtue of the tab system provided on the external box, while the wiper arm connecting bolts remain outside the bellows system. Integrity of the system is achieved as the external lid is attached on the bellows system. In this manner, it is possible to replace or repair the wiper arm without removing the bellows system, only by removing the external lid when removing and restoring the connecting bolts. Description of the Invention
The subject matter of the invention is a sealing system characterized in that the connecting bolts of the bellows system is designed so as to remain outside the bellows system and is compressed between the external lid and the external box in order to prevent sealing problems arising from deformation or user errors during attachment or removal of the bellows system when assembly or disassembly as experienced in the prior-art wiper arms.
The subject matter of the invention is a bellows system that achieves full sealing and that allow replacement or repair without requiring any intervention to the bellows system at the time of replacement or repair of the wiper arm due to any problem by ensuring that the connecting bolts that ensure assembly and removal of the wiper arm remains outside the sealing bellows system taking into question the sealing problems experienced at the prior-art wiper arms, characterized in that said bellows system is compressed between a lid that features an aesthetic look and the external box.

2- Bellows
3- External Box
4- External Lid
The subject matter of the invention is the wiper arm (1) installed to the engineering vehicles, tractors and agricultural vehicles, forklifts and other vehicles of the automotive sector, characterized in that; it is a wiper arm
(1) that achieves maximum sealing as the bellows (2) system designed on the basis of the sealing problems is compressed between the wiper arm external box (3) and the aesthetic protective lid (4)
Figure 1 illustrates the assembled form of the wiper arm (1). The bellows (2) with no sealing problem is arranged between the external box (3) and the external lid (4), and when it is necessary to dismantle the wiper arm (1) due to any problem whatsoever, the connecting bolts remain outside the bellows
(2). The function of the external lid (4) is to cover such sealing system.
The external box (3) is the part where the wiper arm (1) mechanism connects. Furthermore, the box also allows installation of the wiper arm (1) to the vehicle via the screwing orifices available thereon. The box also contains the tabs to which the bellows (2) is fixed when the bellows (2) is installed thereon. In this manner the bellows installed is fixed on the external box.
The lid (4) is designed to cover the connecting bolts after installation of the bellows (2) attached on the external box
(3) and the wiper arm (1) on the respective vehicle in order to achieve an esthetic appearance. The lid (4) is attached by means of the tabs arranged on the external box (3) and is removed by means of a hand tool.
Figure 2 illustrates the internal section of the wiper arm (1). The bellows (2) attached to the tabs of the external box provides sealing from the sealing point shown on scale detail with the external box (3). The external lid (4) is overspread on the bellows (2) and fitted in the tabs on the external box (3) .
The tabs on the bellows (2) are fitted into the tabs on the external box (3) to secure the bellows (2) . As the wall thickness at the zone where the bellows (2) is fitted on the external box (3) is larger than the opening on the external box (3), when bellows (2) is fitted on the external box (3), the bellows seals the area as its flexes and squashes in contact with the walls of the external box (3) .
Figure 3 illustrates the frontal perspective view of the wiper arm (1). The figure shows the external lid (4) as installed after the bellows (2) is fitted on the external box (3).
It is characterized that, upon performing such grouping the sealing bellows (2) eliminates the sealing problems arising from user errors as the connecting bolts that allows assembly and dismantling of the wiper arm (1) remains outside the sealing system without interfering the sealing bellows (2) system.
A wiper arm (1) installed to the engineering vehicles, tractors and agricultural vehicles, forklifts and other vehicles of the automotive sector, wherein the sealing problem that might arise due to any intervention made to the wiper arm (1) is prevented as the connecting rods that allow assembly or dismantling of the wiper arm (1) and the sealing bellows (2) remains outside the sealing system without interfering the sealing bellows (2) system.

Claims

1- A wiper arm (1) installed to the engineering vehicles, tractors and agricultural vehicles, forklifts and other vehicles of the automotive sector, characterized in that; the sealing bellows (2) accommodates the bellows system that allows flexion or squeezing of the bellows by means of the tabs on the external box (3) to which the wiper arm(l) mechanism is attached, and that the wiper arm's (1) sealing bellows (2) system designed on the basis of the sealing problems is compressed between the signal lever external box (1) and the external lid (4) .
2. A sealed wiper arm according to claim 1, characterized in that; the connecting bolts that allow assembly or dismantling of the sealing bellows (2) and the wiper arm (1) are left outside the sealing system without interfering to the sealing bellows (1) system.
