Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Längsschneideeinrichtung (18) für eine Verpackungsfolie (19), umfassend eine Vielzahl von Schneidmessern (20) zum Durchtrennen der den Schneidmessern (20) zugeführten Verpackungsfolie (19) in einer Folientransportrichtung (F), wobei die Vielzahl von Schneidmessern (20) in der Folientransportrichtung (F) ein linkes Schneidmesser (20a), ein rechtes Schneidmesser (20d) und mindestens ein zwischenliegendes Schneidmesser (20b, 20c) aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß zieht eine am zwischenliegenden Schneidmesser positionierte Vorschubeinheit der Längsschneideeinrichtung die Verpackungsfolie für einen Schneidvorgang ein und führt die Verpackungsfolie direkt dem zwischenliegenden Schneidmesser der Längsschneideeinrichtung zu. Anhand der erfindungsgemäß eingesetzten Vorschubeinheit wird direkt am Ort des zwischenliegenden Schneidmessers erreicht, dass die Verpackungsfolie einer am Schneidmesser ausgebildeten Schneidkante straff, ohne der Möglichkeit eines Aufstauens, zugeführt wird, sodass demzufolge das Schneidmesser das Verpackungsfolienmaterial in Folientransportrichtung sauber durchtrennt.The invention also relates to a method for severing a packaging film in the film transport direction by means of a longitudinal cutting device which has a left cutting knife, a right cutting knife and at least one intermediate cutting knife in the film transport direction. Somit findet der Einzug an der Vorschubeinheit bereits vor, d. h. in Folientransportrichtung stromaufwärts, dem Durchtrennen der Verpackungsfolie am zwischenliegenden Schneidmesser statt, wodurch ein Aufstauen des Verpackungsfolienmaterials am Schneidmesser vermieden werden kann.
