Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates generally to a garment provided with an elastic waist belt and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly to a garment provided with an elastic waist belt, in which an elastic band having elasticity is provided in the waist end of a pair of pants, does not generate wrinkles, and is not exposed to the outside, and a method of manufacturing the same.
- In general, overeating during meals causes the abdomen to expand, in which case the waist size of pants being worn has to be adjusted to relieve pressure on the abdomen.
- However, in general, pants such as jeans, cotton pants, and suit pants have zippers applied thereto, so the size of the waist thereof cannot be adjusted, with the result that a user overcomes it by releasing the waist belt or buttons of pants, which causes the problem of a bad appearance.
- Furthermore, when a user's weight increases or decreases after the purchase of pants, the pants have to be repaired to fit the size of the waist. This causes the economic problem of incurring repairing expenses, and in the case of pants with a waist size reduced due to a reduced weight, a problem arises in that the pants cannot be worn when the weight is increased later.
- In order to solve this problem, there have been proposed pants in which a
waist end 20 is formed by arranging fabric so that the fabric can extend in a horizontal direction and anelastic band 30 is attached onto the inner surface of thewaist end 20, as shown inFIGS. 1 and2 . - These pants are made so that the
waist end 20 can extend desirably in the horizontal direction, and theelastic band 30 is mounted, so that the waist size can be easily changed according to a user's physical condition. Accordingly, the pants have the advantage of excellent wearing comfort. When a user squats while wearing pants, the back of thewaist end 20 comes into close contact with the user's body due to the elasticity of theelastic band 30, and thus it has the advantage of excellent appearance. - However, in these pants, the
elastic band 30 is exposed from the upper part of thewaist end 20, and thus a difference in appearance from ordinary pants is caused, thereby impairing aesthetics. - The present invention has been conceived to overcome the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a garment provided with an elastic waist belt, in which the upper end of a first elastic band (300) is coupled to the upper end of a waist end (200) and the lower end of the first elastic band (300) is placed in a free state, so that the waist end (200) is tightened by the elastic force of the first elastic band (300) to prevent wrinkles from being generated, with the result that the waist end (200) is allowed to be formed straight in appearance like in a pair of ordinary pants, thereby providing a waist belt that has high wearing comfort and enhances aesthetics, and a method of manufacturing the same.

first seam margin 211 is formed by lifting up the lower end of theinner portion 210, and thesecond seam margin 221 is formed by lifting up the lower end of theouter portion 220. - Furthermore, in the second sewing step, the upper end of the
waist portion 110 is inserted and disposed between thefirst seam margin 211 and thesecond seam margin 221 so that they are superimposed on each other, and then they are combined with each other through sewing. - In this case, the first
elastic band 300 is disposed not to overlap the upper ends of thefirst seam margin 211, thesecond seam margin 221, and thewaist portion 110. - Meanwhile, when the second
elastic band 400 is provided inside thewaist end 200, a temporary adhering step of providing the secondelastic band 400 inside thewaist end 200 and a third sewing step of combining the lower end of the secondelastic band 400 with thewaist end 200 through sewing are sequentially performed before the seam margin forming step. - In the temporary adhering step, the upper end of the second
elastic band 400 is temporality adhered to the lower end of the firstelastic band 300 with a water-soluble bond. - The water-soluble bond is a material that melts and disappears during washing with water, and the first
elastic band 300 and the secondelastic band 400 are separated again after washing. - In the third sewing step, the lower end of the second
elastic band 400 and theinner portion 210 andouter portion 220 of thewaist end 200 are disposed to be superimposed on each other, and are combined together through sewing. - As described above, the upper end of the second
elastic band 400 and the lower end of the firstelastic band 300 are adhered to each other to match each other, so that the secondelastic band 400 and the firstelastic band 300 may be prevented from being superimposed on or separated from each other, thereby providing the effect of making sewing work convenient. - The present invention is not limited to this, but may be modified in various forms by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the appended claims, and thus such modifications should be interpreted as falling within the scope of the present invention.
