- the kit of parts is provided with mounting arms 51 of different lengths, all of which are connectable to the same positions on the support plate 49 in order to provide a wall bracket receiver 43 of different lengths.
- mounting holes 53, 55, 57 and 59 may be used to attach wall brackets 17 positioned for connection in 600mm 2 , 300mm 2 , 200mm 2 or 100mm 2 positions as previously described. In the case of the 75mm 2 position, the arms 51 are not needed.
- the wall bracket receiver 43 is connected to the articulated tilt and turn arm 45 by means of a hinge 69 (as shown in Figure 6). Hinge 69 provides for horizontal pivoting movement at or near the wall bracket receiver 43.
- the tilt mechanism 65 is shown in Figures 7, 8, 9a and 9b and comprises an inner plate 71 connected to a second turning hinge 63 which is positioned upon the TV mounting screw receiver plate 47.
- the inner plate 71 is positioned in a gap 73 between the two outer plates 75 which are connected to the hinge 69 of the wall bracket receiver 43.
- Adjustment screws 77 may be loosened in order to change the tilt of the TV mounting screw receiver plate 47 and, once in a suitable position, tightened to secure the inner plate 71 between the outer plates 75.
- the bracket arm 81 shown in figure 11 comprises hinges 83, 85 at a first and second ends, respectively, and a central hinge 87 between elongate members 89, 91.
- the central hinge 87 allows the arm 81 to be folded flat to a surface.
- Figures 12a and 12b show two additional template examples, one with even hundreds distances (12a) in mm between the markings and the other (12b) with odd hundreds distances between the markings.
- the templates have a representation of the wall brackets 17 pre-printed (including the holes) for ease of installation and an indication of the distance between sets of markings that define a square or rectangle. Improvements and modifications may be incorporated herein without deviating from the scope of the invention.
