Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention concerns a hinge for a home appliance, for example of the dishwasher type.
  • KNOWN PRIOR ART
  • The existence of hinges for home appliances, such as for dishwashers for example, capable of allowing the opening or closing of the loading door of the same appliance around a substantially horizontal shaft, is known. In particular, hinges for built-in dishwashers, i.e. those inserted and concealed in the kitchen cabinet, are known. For this type of dishwashers, it is necessary to constrain a decorative covering panel of the same shape and color, as the one of the entire cabinet in which the dishwasher is built in, to the door of the home appliance, so as to ensure the latter is totally concealed in the furniture element once the loading door of the home appliance is closed.
  • In any case, in the event of furniture whose lower base is flushed with the doors or openings of the furniture element, it is difficult to perfectly hide the door of the home appliance in the furniture element by using a simple fixed panel constrained to the door of the home appliance. In fact, if the decorative panel is mounted flushed with the lower end of the door, it would practically be impossible to completely open the door, since the lower end of the panel would touch the base of the furniture element at a certain angle of rotation during its opening, thus reducing the functionality of same home appliance.
  • In view of this problem, hinges capable of making the decorative panel combined with the door of the home appliance to slide during the opening of the door were implemented.
  • For example, the application EP2407723 A1 , in the name of Electrolux, describes a hinge for a home appliance equipped with a decorative panel adapted to rotatably connect the door of the home appliance to the body of the home appliance, between a closed position and an opened position. The hinge comprises a fixed frame combined with the body of the home appliance and a movable frame combined with the door of the home appliance and rotatable with respect to the fixed frame arranged around a first a pivot that is integral with the fixed frame. Moreover, the hinge comprises means to displace the decorative panel along the door of the home appliance, at least when the door rotates with respect to the main body. In particular, the displacing means comprise a slider that is constrained to the decorative panel and movable along a guide embodied on the movable frame, and a slider activating mechanism. This slider activating mechanism comprises an actuating shaft that makes an intermediate triangular motion transmission lever, which is rotatably constrained around a fulcrum pivot integral with the movable frame, to rotate. This intermediate lever is further constrained, at a first end, to the actuating shaft and, at a second end, to a connecting rod that is in turn rotationally combined with the aforementioned slider. Whenever the door is rotated, the actuating lever moves linearly so as to make the intermediate transmission lever to rotate and which in turn causes the rotation of the connecting rod. The connecting rod then transmits the motion to the slider, which moves along the guide obtained on the movable frame. Since the decorative panel is directly combined with the slider, the latter slides along the front face of the dishwasher door. Therefore, from a closed position to an open position, the transmission of the motion of the slider, and thus of the decorative panel, is obtained through a series of leverages substantially lying on a plane that is orthogonal to the axis of rotation of the first pivot. In this way, in order to ensure that the decorative panel can be moved of a few centimeters along the dishwasher door, it is necessary to implement a rather long linear guide, at least equal to the length of the travel the decorative panel must cover, on the movable frame of the hinge. Moreover, the number of components is rather high just due to the aforementioned non-negligible length of the linear guide. Consequently, all of the hinge components necessary for the transmission of motion to the decorative panel are arranged near the area where the rotation between the movable frame and the fixed one occurs, thus creating an encumbrance that also makes it difficult to arrange them. It is therefore clear that such hinge of the known art is extremely complex from a structural point of view, as it requires a high number of components and since it is not easy to assemble. All of these factors make the installation of this type of hinge on a home appliance little convenient.
  • Object of the present invention is then to implement a hinge for home appliance that allows the sliding of the decorative panel along the door of the home appliance but that, with respect to the hinges of the known art, is simple from a structural point of view and thus easy to assemble.
  • Another object of the present invention is to implement a hinge that requires a smaller number of components with respect to those needed for the hinges of the known art installed for the opening and closing of the doors of home appliances that is built into a furniture element.
  • Finally, object of the present invention is to implement a hinge with a limited encumbrance at the area where the rotation between the door and the main body of the home appliance occurs.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • These and other objects are achieved by a hinge for a home appliance adapted to connect the door of said home appliance to the main body of said home appliance, between a closed position and an open position, in a rotatable way around a first axis of rotation, said home appliance further comprising a decorative panel slidingly constrained on a plane substantially parallel to the outer flat surface of said door of said home appliance along a direction substantially orthogonal to said first rotation axis, said hinge comprising a stationary frame combinable with said main body, and a movable frame combinable with said door and rotatable around said stationary frame around a first pivot that is integral with said stationary frame and that has its longitudinal axis coincident with said first rotation axis, said hinge further comprising displacing means to displace said decorative panel along said sliding plane substantially parallel to the outer surface of said door, at least when said door rotates with respect to said main body, said displacing means comprising at least one slider combinable with said decorative panel and displaceable between a first and a second position along said movable frame, in a direction substantially orthogonal to said first rotation axis, and at least one activating mechanism to activate said slider between said first position and said second position, and vice-versa, characterized in that said displacing means further comprise at least one motion transmission lever for transmitting the motion from said slider to said decorative panel, at least when said slider is displaced from said first position to said second position, and vice-versa, said at least one transmission lever being rotatably constrained to said movable frame around a second rotation axis substantially orthogonal to said sliding plane for said decorative panel.
  • Said solution solves the drawbacks of hinges of the known art since it is not necessary to embody a slider travel of equal length as the travel of the decorative panel and since it is sufficient to make the slider slide over a reduced distance and, anyhow, such as to allow the rotation of the transmission lever that, instead, acts on a plane that is substantially parallel to the one on which the outer flat surface of said door is arranged and along which said decorative panel slides. This considerably reduces the complexity and encumbrance of the hinge at the area where the rotation between the movable frame and the fixed one occurs. In fact, this solution avoids increasing the complexity of the mechanisms transmitting the motion to the slider that must be housed at the area in which the rotation of the hinge occurs, while the effective displacement of the decorative panel is obtained through a transmission lever arranged far away from the rotation area of the hinge and, anyhow, working on a plane parallel to the one of the outer part of the door.
  • According to the invention, said at least one transmission lever, which is preferably plate-shaped as to minimize the encumbrance related to the thickness of the door of the home appliance, is rotatably constrained, on a first end, to a second pivot of said movable frame and whose longitudinal axis coincides with said second axis of rotation and, on a second end, directly or indirectly, to said decorative panel. The slider is also advantageously equipped with at least one sliding block at least rotatably constrained to said slider and at least slidingly constrained to said at least one transmission lever, to control the rotation of the latter around said at least one second pivot at least when said slider is displaced from said first position to said second position, and vice-versa. Advantageously, said at least one slider can be combined with said decorative panel and moved in a substantially orthogonal direction with respect to said first axis of rotation along at least one first linear guide obtained in said movable frame. Moreover, said second pivot is arranged so as to pass through one linear slot obtained in said slider. Said at least one slot is also arranged on a substantially orthogonal plane with respect to the one on which said first guide is arranged.
  • Furthermore, said sliding block is slidingly constrained in a second guide obtained in said transmission lever. Preferably, said sliding block has at least two sliding side surfaces parallel to one another and combined with the respective inner parallel surfaces of said second guide.
  • Also, the activating mechanism includes at least one connecting rod that is rotatably constrained, on a first end, to said movable frame at a third pivot and, on a second end, to said slider, at a fourth pivot. The first pivot and the fourth pivot have a longitudinal axis parallel to said first axis of rotation and they are respectively arranged in a position so as to ensure that the distance between said first pivot and said fourth pivot is variable during the rotation of said door between said closed position and said open position, so as to ensure that the slider slides between said first position and said second position, and vice-versa. Preferably, said distance between said first pivot and said fourth pivot gradually increases as the door passes from its closed position to the open position. In such embodiment, at least when said door is in a closed position, said fourth pivot is arranged at an elevation higher than the elevation of said first pivot, wherein the axis of rotation of said fourth pivot and of said first pivot lies on a substantially vertical plane.
  • Moreover, said third pivot is arranged at an elevation lower than said first pivot so as to ensure that, at least when said door is in an open position, said fourth pivot is substantially arranged at the same elevation of the elevation of said third pivot. Finally, the solution extends to a home appliance comprising a main body and a door rotatable with respect to said main body between a closed position and an open position, wherein said home appliance further comprises at least one decorative panel slidingly combinable with the outer surface of said door of said home appliance, and at least one hinge according to any one or more of claims 1 to 11 and adapted to rotatably connect said door of said home appliance to said main body of said home appliance.
  • According to an advantageous aspect of the invention, a hinge for a home appliance adapted to connect the door of said home appliance to the main body of said home appliance, between a closed position and an open position and in a rotatable way around a first axis of rotation, is available, said household appliance further comprising a decorative panel slidingly constrained to a plane parallel to the outer flat surface of said door of said home appliance along a direction substantially orthogonal to said first rotation axis, said hinge comprising a stationary frame combinable with said main body, and a movable frame combinable with said door and rotatable around said stationary frame around a first pivot integral with said stationary frame and having longitudinal axis coincident with said first rotation axis, said hinge further comprising displacing means to displace said decorative panel along said sliding plane parallel to the outer surface of said door at least when said door rotates with respect to said main body, said displacing means comprising at least one slider combinable with said decorative panel and displaceable between a first and a second position along said movable frame, in a substantially orthogonal direction with respect to said first axis of rotation, and at least one activating mechanism to activate said slider between said first position and said second position, and vice-versa, characterized in that said displacing means comprise at least one connecting rod rotatably constrained, on a first end, to said movable frame at a third pivot and, on a second end, to said slider, at a fourth pivot, said first pivot and said fourth pivot having a longitudinal axis parallel to said first axis of rotation and being respectively arranged in a position so as to ensure that the distance between said first pivot and said fourth pivot is variable during the rotation of said door between said closed position and said open position, so as to ensure that the slider slides between said first position and said second position, and vice-versa. Said solution allows to considerably reduce the complexity of the slider activating mechanism since it is no longer necessary to implement, as in the hinges of the known art, an actuating lever, an intermediate triangular lever and a connecting rod to move the slider, since it is sufficient to use one lever only, i.e. the aforementioned connecting rod, to obtain the same effect while maintaining precise geometrical relations between the first pivot, the third pivot and the fourth pivot so as to ensure the desired travel to the slider.
  • In conclusion, the aforementioned solution allows to make the slider activating mechanism considerably much easier thanks to a simple geometrical arrangement and by substantially exploiting the movement of the door with respect to the main body of the home appliance.
  • In particular, such solution is independent from the fact that the displacing means comprise or not at least one lever transmitting the motion from said slider to said decorative panel, at least when said slider is displaced between said first position and said second position, and vice-versa.
  • In such embodiment, at least when said door is in a closed position, said fourth pivot is arranged at an elevation higher than the elevation of said first pivot, wherein the axis of rotation of said fourth pivot and of said first pivot lies on a substantially vertical plane.
  • Finally, said third pivot is arranged at an elevation lower than said first pivot and, at least when the door is in an open position, said fourth pivot is substantially arranged at the same elevation of said third pivot.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
  • With reference to the aforementioned figures, a hinge 1 according to the invention is illustrated.
  • As shown in figures 1A and 1B, the hinge 1 is used on a home appliance 100, in particular on a dishwasher, and is adapted to rotatably connect around a first axis X of rotation the door 101 of the home appliance 100 to its main body 102, between a closed position C and an open position O. The first axis of rotation is horizontal so that the door 101 is substantially arranged vertically, when in its closed position C, and substantially arranged horizontally, when in its fully open position O.
  • The home appliance 100 further comprises a decorative panel 103 slidingly constrained on a substantially parallel plane A with respect to the outer flat surface 101a of the door 101 of the home appliance 100, along a direction Z substantially orthogonal to the first axis X of rotation. As mentioned above, the invention is particularly suitable whenever a home appliance 100 should be built into a furniture element whose lower base 200 has an outer area 200a that, when the door 101 of the home appliance 100 is closed, must be perfectly flushed with the outer surface 103a of the decorative panel 103 slidingly constrained to the outer flat surface 101a of the door 101 of the dishwasher 100. In fact, it is clear to the person skilled of the art that, whenever such decorative panel 103 should not slide, it would be impossible to obtain the fully open position of the door 101.
  • Moreover, it should be added that the number of hinges 1 installed on such home appliance 100 is two, which are arranged following the usual procedure, symmetrically with respect to a vertical plane (herein not shown) passing through the home appliance 100 at mid-width. However, for the sake of simplicity, only one of the two hinges 1 installed on the home appliance will be described.
  • According to the invention, the hinge 1 comprises a fixed frame 2 combinable with the main body 102 of the home appliance 100, and a movable frame 3 combinable with the door 101 of the home appliance 100 and rotatable, with respect to the fixed frame 2, around a first pivot 4 integral with the fixed frame 2 and whose longitudinal axis coincides with the first axis X of rotation. The hinge 1 further comprises 5 means to displace the decorative panel 103 along a sliding plane A substantially parallel to the outer flat surface 101a of the door 101, at least when the door 101 rotates with respect to the main body 102.
  • These displacing means 5 comprise a slider 6 combinable, although indirectly, with the decorative panel 103 and displaceable between a first position P1 and a second position P2 along the movable frame 3 in a direction L substantially orthogonal to the first axis X of rotation, whenever the door 101 changes from its closed position C to its open position O. The displacing means 5 further comprise an activating mechanism 8 of the slider 6 between the first position P1 and the second position P2, and vice-versa.
  • Moreover, the displacing means 5 further comprise a motion transmission lever 9 that transmits the motion from the slider 6 to the decorative panel 103, at least when the slider 6 is moved between the first position P1 and the second position P2, and vice-versa. Advantageously, the transmission lever 9 is rotatably constrained to the movable frame 3 around a second axis Y of rotation that is substantially orthogonal to the first sliding plane A of the decorative panel 103 and, thus, that is also orthogonal to the outer flat surface 101a of the door 101.
  • In particular, the transmission lever 9, which is like a plate-shaped fork to reduce the transversal encumbrance of the door 101 (particularly shown in figure 2B) is rotatably constrained, on a first end 9a, to the movable frame 3 at a second pivot 10 whose longitudinal axis coincides with the second axis Y of rotation and, on a second end 9b, to another transmission axis 21 in turn rotatably constrained to the decorative panel 103. The transmission axis 21 is connected to the transmission lever 9 by means of the pivot 22.
  • It should be noted that, in an embodiment not described herein, on a first end 9a the transmission lever 9 is rotatably constrained to the movable frame 3 at a second pivot 10 whose longitudinal axis coincides with the second axis Y of rotation and, on a second end 9b, directly to the decorative panel 103 by means of the pivot 22.
  • The slider 6 is equipped with a sliding block 11 rotatably constrained to the same slider 6 and sliding with respect to the transmission lever 9 to control the rotation around the second pivot 10, at least when the slider 6 is moved from the first position P1 to the second position P2, and vice-versa.
  • According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the slider 6 is movable in a direction L substantially orthogonal to the first axis X of rotation, along a first passing-through linear guide 7 obtained in the movable frame 3. In particular, the slider 6 comprises a T-shaped slide 20 integral with the slider 6 itself and capable of sliding the slider 6 within the first linear guide 7. Such T-shaped slide, which passes through said linear guide 7, is constrained to the slider 6 by means of a pair of screws 50. Still according to a preferred embodiment of the invention herein described, the second pivot 10 is arranged between a linear slot 15 embodied on the slider 6, in particular, at the slide 20. Such linear slot 15 is arranged on a substantially orthogonal plane with respect to the one on which the first guide 7 is arranged.
  • Moreover, the transmission lever 9 comprises a second guide 25 within which the sliding block 11 slides. Such sliding block 11 has at least two sliding side surfaces 11a and 11b parallel to one another and combinable with the respective inner parallel surfaces 25a and 25b of the second guide 25. The sliding block 11 is rotatably constrained to the slide 20 of the slider 6 by means of a pivot 60.
  • Still according to the invention, the activating mechanism 8 comprises a connecting rod 12 rotatably constrained, on a first end 12a, to the movable frame 3 at a third pivot 13 and, on a second end 12b, to the slider 6, at a fourth pivot 14. Both the longitudinal axis of the first pivot 4 and of the fourth pivot 14 are parallel to the first axis X of rotation and are reciprocally arranged in a position so as to ensure that the distance D, between the first pivot 4 and the fourth pivot 14, measured at the respective longitudinal axes, is variable during the rotation of the door 101 between the closed position C and the open position O, so as to ensure that the slider 6 slides between the first position P1 and the second position P2, and vice-versa. In particular, as shown in the figures 3B and 4B, the distance D gradually increases as the door 101 moves from the closed position C to the open position O. It should be noted that the third pivot 13 also has a longitudinal axis of rotation parallel to the first axis X of rotation. Such variation in distance D between the first pivot 4 and the fourth pivot 14 exactly allows the sliding of the slider 6.
  • Moreover, at least when the door 101 is in the closed position C, the fourth pivot 14 is arranged at an elevation higher than the elevation of the first pivot 4, and the axis of rotation of the fourth pivot 14 and of the first pivot 4 are arranged on a substantially vertical plane. Furthermore, the third pivot 13 is arranged at an elevation lower than the elevation of the first pivot 4 and, at least when the door 101 is in an open position O, the fourth pivot 14 is substantially arranged at the same elevation of the third pivot 13. These geometrical considerations also make it possible to prevent the door 101 from jamming during its opening and closing and to slide the slider 6 along the first guide 7 made in the movable frame 3.
  • In practice, according to the invention, the hinge 1 operates in the following way.
  • When the user opens the door 101 of the dishwasher 100, the movable frame 3 of the hinge 1 rotates, with respect to the fixed frame 2, around the first axis X of rotation. During such displacement, the connecting rod 12 rotates around the third pivot 13 so that the distance D between the first pivot 4 and the fourth pivot 14, the latter being combined with the slider 6, increases. This causes the linear displacement of the aforementioned slider 6 along the first linear guide 7, changing from a first position P1 to a second position P2. At this point the sliding block 11, integral with the slider 6, slides into the second guide 25 embodied within the transmission lever 9 so as to control the rotation of the transmission lever 9 around the second axis Y of rotation instead, coinciding with the longitudinal axis of the second pivot 10 that is integral with the movable frame 3. Advantageously, such second axis Y of rotation is arranged orthogonally to the sliding plane A of the decorative panel 103 and thus also orthogonally to the outer flat surface 101a of the door 101, so as to avoid the encumbrance problems of known hinges.
  • Finally, the decorative panel 103 slides (see figure 1B) with respect to the outer flat surface 101a of the door 101, following the rotation of the transmission lever 9 rotatably combined with a second end 9b thereof, just to the decorative panel 103.
  • It should be noted that, although an embodiment of the hinge 1 has been so far described, wherein the displacing means 5 comprise a transmission lever 9 to transmit motion from the slider 6 to the decorative panel 103 at least when the slider 6 is moved between the first position P1 to the second position P2, and vice-versa, and wherein the transmission lever 9 is rotatably constrained to the movable frame 3 around a second axis Y of rotation substantially orthogonal to the outer flat surface of the door 101, the invention also protects an embodiment devoid of such transmission lever 9. In particular, such solution refers to a hinge 1 for a home appliance 100 adapted to rotatably connect the door 101 of the home appliance 100 around a first axis X of rotation, to its main body 102 between a closed position C and an open position O. Such home appliance further comprises a decorative panel 103 slidingly constrained to the outer flat surface 101a of the door 101 of the home appliance 100 along a substantially orthogonal direction with respect to the first axis X of rotation.
  • The hinge 1 comprises a fixed frame 2 combinable with a main body 102 and a movable frame 3 combinable with the door 101 and rotatable, with respect to the fixed frame 2, around the first pivot 4 that is integral with the fixed frame and with a longitudinal axis coinciding with the first axis X of rotation. Moreover, the hinge 1 further comprises 5 means to displace the decorative panel 103 along a plane A parallel to the outer surface 101a of the door, at least when the door rotates with respect to the main body 102. Such displacing means 5 comprise a slider 6 combinable with the decorative panel and movable between a first position P1 and a second position P2 along the movable frame 3, in a substantially orthogonal direction with respect to the first axis X of rotation, and a activating mechanism 8 to activate the slider 6 between the first position and the second position P2, and vice-versa. Advantageously, the activating mechanism 8 comprises a connecting rod 12 that is rotatably constrained, on a first end 12a, to the movable frame 3 at a third pivot 13 and, on a second end 12b, to the slider 6 at the fourth pivot 14, wherein the first pivot 4 and the fourth pivot 14 have a longitudinal axis parallel to the first axis X of rotation and are reciprocally arranged in a position so that the distance D between the first pivot 4 and the fourth pivot 14, measured at the longitudinal axes of the respective pivots 4 and 14, is variable during the rotation of the door 101 between the closed position and the open position, so that the slider 6 slides between the first position P1 and the second position P2, and vice-versa.
  • As mentioned above, in this case the hinge 1 may not comprise the aforementioned transmission lever 9 rotatably constrained to the movable frame around a second axis Y of rotation and substantially orthogonal to the outer flat surface 101a of said door 101. Moreover, always according to this embodiment, at least when the door is in the closed position, the fourth pivot 14 is arranged at an elevation higher than that of the first pivot 4, and the axis of rotation of the fourth pivot 14 and of the first pivot 4 lies on a substantially vertical plane.
  • Finally, the third pivot 13 is arranged at an elevation lower than that of the first pivot 4 and, at least when the door 101 is in an open position O, the fourth pivot 14 is substantially arranged at the same elevation of the third pivot 13. These geometrical considerations make it possible to achieve a series of advantages. Firstly, they allow to control the sliding of the slider 6 without the need of using complicated slider activating mechanisms used in known hinges, then, they also make it possible to prevent the door 101 from jamming during its opening and closing paths and to allow the slider 6 to slide along the first guide 7.

Claims (12)

  1. Hinge (1) for home appliance (100), adapted to connect the door (101) of said home appliance to the main body (102) of said home appliance, between a closed position (C) and an open position (O), in a rotatable way around a first rotation axis (X), said home appliance further comprising at least one decorative panel (103) slidingly constrained on a plane (A) substantially parallel to the outer flat surface (101a) of said door (101) of said home appliance along a direction (Z) substantially orthogonal to said first rotation axis, said hinge (1) comprising a stationary frame (2) combinable with said main body (102), and a movable frame (3) combinable with said door (101) and rotatable around said stationary frame (2) around a first pivot (4) integral with said stationary frame and having longitudinal axis coincident with said first rotation axis, said hinge (1) further comprising displacing means (5) to displace said decorative panel along said sliding plane (A) at least when said door rotates with respect to said main body, said displacing means comprising at least one slider (6) combinable with said decorative panel and displaceable between a first (P1) and a second (P2) position along said movable frame (3), in a direction (L) substantially orthogonal to said first rotation axis, and at least one activating mechanism (8) to activate said slider between said first position and said second position, and vice-versa, characterized in that said displacing means (5) further comprise at least one transmission lever (9) of the motion from said slider (6) to said decorative panel (103), at least when said slider is displaced from said first position (P1) to said second position (P2), and vice-versa, said at least one transmission lever (9) being rotatably constrained to said movable frame around a second rotation axis (Y) substantially orthogonal to said sliding plane (A) for said decorative panel (103).
  2. Hinge according to claim 1, characterized in that said at least one transmission lever (9) is rotatably constrained, at a first end (9a), to a second pivot (10) of said movable frame having longitudinal axis coincident with said second rotation axis (Y) and, at a second end (9b), directly or indirectly, to said decorative panel (103), said slider being provided with at least one sliding block (11) at least rotatably constrained to said slider (6) and at least slidingly constrained to said at least one transmission lever (9), to control the rotation of the latter around said at least one second pivot (10) at least when said slider (6) is displaced from said first position to said second position, and vice-versa.
  3. Hinge according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said movable frame comprises at least one first linear guide (7) for said at least one slider (6), said at least one linear guide being obtained in said movable frame (3).
  4. Hinge according to claim 3, characterized in that said second pivot is arranged so that to pass through a linear slot (15) obtained in said slider (6), said at least one linear slot (15) being arranged on a plane substantially orthogonal to that on which said at least one first linear guide (7) is arranged.
  5. Hinge according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that said at least one slider (6) comprises at least one slide (20) integrally constrained to said slider (6), said at least one slide (20) being arranged so that to pass through said at least one first linear guide (7).
  6. Hinge according to one or more of claims 2 to 5, characterized in that said sliding block (11) is at least slidingly constrained in a second guide (25) obtained in said transmission lever (9).
  7. Hinge according to claim 6, characterized in that said sliding block (11) has at least two sliding side surfaces (11a, 11b) parallel to one another and combined with respective inner parallel surfaces of said second guide (25).

Hinge according to one or more of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that said activating mechanism (8) comprises at least one connecting rod (12) rotatably constrained, at a first end (12a), to said movable frame (3) at a third pivot (13) and, at a second end (12b), to said slider (6), at a fourth pivot (14), said first pivot and said fourth pivot having longitudinal axes parallel to said first rotation axis and being arranged, one with respect to the other, in such a position that the distance (D) between said first pivot (4) and said fourth pivot (14) changes during the rotation of said door between said closed position and said open position, so that the slider (6) slides between said first position (P1) and said second position (P2), and vice-versa.
  9. Hinge according to claim 8 characterized in that, at least when said door is in the closed position, said fourth pivot is arranged at an elevation higher than the elevation of said first pivot, the rotation axis of said fourth pivot and said first pivot lying on a substantially vertical plane.
  10. Hinge according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that said third pivot (13) is arranged at an elevation lower than said first pivot (4) and in that, at least when said door is in the open position, said fourth pivot (14) is arranged substantially at the same elevation of the elevation of said third pivot (13).
  11. Hinge according to one or more of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that said at least one transmission lever is plate-shaped.
  12. Home appliance (100) comprising a main body and a door rotatable with respect to said main body between a closed position and an open position, said home appliance further comprising at least one decorative panel slidingly combinable with the outer surface of said door of said home appliance, said home appliance further comprising at least one hinge according to one or more of claims 1 to 11, the hinge being adapted to rotatably connect said door of said home appliance to said main body of said home appliance.
