Definitions
- the present application relates to the use of a spray can with two separate delivery bags for spraying two separately presented solutions which are mixed during spraying and thereby form a detergent based on active oxygen.
- Active cleaners with a bleaching and / or disinfecting effect often contain sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach).
- chlorine bleach sodium hypochlorite
- the presence of chlorine in such cleaning agents is increasingly undesirable in view of health regulations and environmental concerns.
- a spray device in which at least two spray solutions are initially separated and in which the two spray solutions are only mixed for use, active oxygen can be generated in situ and cleaning agents with bleaching and disinfecting action can thus be provided.
- active oxygen can be generated in situ and cleaning agents with bleaching and disinfecting action can thus be provided.
- hypochlorite or other questionable bleaching agents can thus be dispensed with according to the invention.
- the in-situ generation of active oxygen is achieved by using a spray device which contains at least two separate presentation bags, each containing a first and a second spray solution.
- the active component namely active oxygen, is not yet present in the stable storage form in the spray solutions, but is only formed when spraying by mixing the at least two spray solutions present separately from one another in the spray device.
- the use of potassium iodide and / or silver nitrate in the spray solution in the first storage bag as a catalyst for releasing oxygen from hydrogen peroxide effectively produces active oxygen when the first and second spray solutions are sprayed and mixed.
- the formation of active oxygen takes place according to the invention in a short time and at ambient temperature.
- the formation of active oxygen can already take place at only a slightly alkaline pH.
- the active cleaner formed according to the invention by mixing several spray liquids together is, in particular, an oxygen bleach and not a chlorine bleach.

- Sodium hydroxide serves as a catalyst and at the same time for pH adjustment and is accordingly preferably present in a proportion of 0.5 to 2% by weight, in particular 0.75 to 1.5% by weight.
- the ppm and% by weight data for the catalysts each relate to the total weight of solution A.
- the hydrogen peroxide contained in the second spray solution B decomposes into oxygen.
- the catalysts contained in the first spray solution A achieve rapid, active decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into oxygen at room temperature (20 ° C.). Due to this decomposition of hydrogen peroxide to oxygen, the cleaner acts as a strong oxidizing agent with a bleaching and disinfecting effect.
- the spray solution A particularly preferably comprises a catalyst combination of potassium iodide, sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide and silver nitrate, in particular a catalyst combination comprising 2-4% by weight of potassium iodide, 6-8% by weight of sodium carbonate, 0.5 to 1.5% by weight of sodium hydroxide and 1 -30 ppm silver nitrate.
- the spray solution A further preferably comprises a catalyst combination of potassium iodide, sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide and silver nitrate, in particular a catalyst combination comprising 0.5-2% by weight of potassium iodide, 3-6% by weight of sodium carbonate, 0.5 to 1.5% by weight of sodium hydroxide and 1-30 ppm silver nitrate.
- the spray solution A comprises a catalyst combination of potassium iodide and sodium carbonate, in particular a catalyst combination comprising 1.0 to 2.0% by weight of potassium iodide and 2.0 to 5.0% by weight of sodium carbonate.
- the spray solution A comprises a catalyst combination of silver nitrate and sodium carbonate, in particular a catalyst combination comprising 10 to 50 ppm of silver nitrate and 2.0 to 5.0% by weight of sodium carbonate.
- the spray solution A contained in the first presentation bag preferably has a basic pH, in particular a pH of ⁇ 8.0.

Description
The present application relates to the use of a spray can with two separate delivery bags for spraying two separately presented solutions which are mixed during spraying and thereby form a detergent based on active oxygen.
Active cleaners with a bleaching and / or disinfecting effect often contain sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach). However, the presence of chlorine in such cleaning agents is increasingly undesirable in view of health regulations and environmental concerns.
It was therefore an object of the present invention to provide a cleaning agent with a bleaching and / or disinfecting effect in which the use of hypochlorite or other questionable bleaching agents can be dispensed with. Another object of the present invention was to provide such a cleaning agent in a form which is easy for the user to handle.
- (i) einen Sprühvorrichtungsbehälter,
According to the invention, these objects are achieved by using a spray device for dispensing several liquids
- (i) a sprayer container,
- (ii) at least two spray valves,
- (iii) at least two separate presentation bags attached within the sprayer container, a first presentation bag communicating with a first spray valve and a second presentation bag communicating with a second spray valve, and
- (iv) a spray head,
for spraying an active cleaner,
characterized in that the first presentation bag contains a spray solution comprising at least one catalyst for releasing oxygen from hydrogen peroxide, selected from potassium iodide and / or silver nitrate.
According to the invention, by using a spray device in which at least two spray solutions are initially separated and in which the two spray solutions are only mixed for use, active oxygen can be generated in situ and cleaning agents with bleaching and disinfecting action can thus be provided. The use of hypochlorite or other questionable bleaching agents can thus be dispensed with according to the invention.
The in-situ generation of active oxygen is achieved by using a spray device which contains at least two separate presentation bags, each containing a first and a second spray solution. The active component, namely active oxygen, is not yet present in the stable storage form in the spray solutions, but is only formed when spraying by mixing the at least two spray solutions present separately from one another in the spray device.
According to the invention, it was found that the use of potassium iodide and / or silver nitrate in the spray solution in the first storage bag as a catalyst for releasing oxygen from hydrogen peroxide effectively produces active oxygen when the first and second spray solutions are sprayed and mixed. The formation of active oxygen takes place according to the invention in a short time and at ambient temperature. In addition, according to the invention, the formation of active oxygen can already take place at only a slightly alkaline pH. The active cleaner formed according to the invention by mixing several spray liquids together is, in particular, an oxygen bleach and not a chlorine bleach.
According to the invention, a spray solution A is contained in a first presentation bag, which comprises at least one catalyst for releasing oxygen from hydrogen peroxide, selected from potassium iodide and / or silver nitrate. In addition to the mandatory potassium iodide and / or silver nitrate catalysts, which cause rapid oxygen release at ambient temperatures, spray solution A can optionally contain further catalysts for releasing oxygen from hydrogen peroxide. A release of oxygen from hydrogen peroxide causes e.g. Heavy metal ions, iodide, hydroxide, iron (III) salts, manganese oxide and copper sulfate. Suitable catalysts are in particular sodium hydroxide, potassium iodide, sodium carbonate and / or silver nitrate. Potassium iodide is particularly preferred as catalyst.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the spray head is designed such that the active cleaner formed by mixing the solutions contained in the storage bags together is sprayed. In a further, likewise preferred embodiment, the active cleaner is additionally foamed so that it already appears as a foam on the surface to be treated. Foaming can be achieved, for example, by attaching a mesh for foaming in the spray head.
The active cleaner formed according to the invention by mixing at least two spray solutions when spraying is preferably an active cleaner with a bleaching and disinfecting effect. It is particularly preferably a stain remover, an upholstery cleaner, a sanitary cleaner, an oven cleaner, a grill grate cleaner, a tile joint cleaner, a silicone joint cleaner, a stainless steel cleaner or a chrome cleaner.
For the specific design of the cleaners, further specific ingredients can be contained in the first and / or second spray solution. However, it is also possible to provide further spray solutions with specific ingredients in one or more additional presentation bags, which are each connected to a separate spray valve.
Das Füllvolumen beträgt vorzugsweise von 100 ml bis 2000 ml, vorzugsweise von 200 ml bis 1000 ml.The spray device used according to the invention comprises a spray device container. Particularly preferably, the first presentation bag for receiving the spray solution A is formed from a laminated material which has at least one layer which prevents the passage of oxygen and a further inner layer which prevents contact with the spray solution A with the oxygen-tight layer.
The inner layer made of thermoplastic polymer preferably consists of a polyolefin and in particular of polyethylene or polypropylene. A presentation bag made from this material has been shown to be particularly resistant to compositions with high pH values above pH 13.
The laminated material for the first presentation bag can furthermore preferably have an outer layer, in particular a polyethylene terephthalate layer or a nylon layer.

In one embodiment, the second presentation bag is formed from a laminated material, comprising a metal foil and an inner layer made of a thermoplastic polymer. For example, an aluminum foil or an iron foil can be used as the metal foil, an aluminum foil being preferred. The thickness of the metal foil and in particular the aluminum foil is 5-20 µm. The inner layer made of thermoplastic polymer preferably consists of a polyolefin and in particular of polyethylene or polypropylene. A presentation bag made of this material has been shown to be particularly resistant to compositions with low pH values below pH 3.
The laminated material for the second presentation bag can furthermore preferably have an outer layer, in particular a polyethylene terephthalate layer or a nylon layer.
The individual layers of the laminate material for the second presentation bag are preferably bonded to one another with an adhesive, polyether urethane resin adhesives having proven particularly suitable.
Die Dicke der äußeren Polyethylenterephthalatschicht beträgt dabei vorzugsweise 5-20 µm, die Dicke der Aluminiumfolie 5-20 µm, die Dicke der Polyethylenterephthalat-Zwischenschicht 5-20 µm und die Dicke der Polyolefin-Innenschicht 10-100 µm.A laminate material comprising polyethylene terephthalate as the outer layer, aluminum foil as the oxygen-blocking layer, polyethylene terephthalate as the intermediate layer and a polyolefin, in particular polypropylene or polyethylene, as the inner layer has proven to be particularly suitable as the material for the second presentation bag. With the preferred bag materials, safe storage of the spray solutions is possible in particular even at elevated temperatures of 40-60 ° C.
According to the invention, the active cleaner to be sprayed is formed in situ by simultaneously dispensing at least two different spray solutions. The at least two spray valves are preferably set such that the spray flow of the spray solutions contained in the at least two separate delivery bags, based on the volume, is 2: 1 to 1: 2, preferably 1.5: 1 to 1: 1.5 and is particularly preferably 1.1: 1 to 1: 1.1. The spray flow can be adjusted, for example, by the viscosity of the spray solutions. Another way to adjust the spray flow is to use predefined cross sections of the spray valves. It is often preferred to set the spray flow of the individual spray solutions to be as large as possible. In this embodiment, the same size of the original bag can be used and a complete emptying of all the original bags is easily achieved. In some configurations, however, it can be preferred to mix different proportions of the individual spray solutions with one another. For this purpose, it is possible according to the invention to set practically any spray flows. For example, in order to achieve a basic pH of the overall composition, it may be advantageous to set a higher spray flow of an alkaline component. In this way, an overall alkaline pH value is achieved without the alkaline component itself having to have a pH value that is too high and therefore difficult to handle.
