Claims (14)

  1. Terminating element for fastening to a terminating strip (14) of a curtain, in particular to the terminating strip (14) of a roller shutter curtain, wherein the terminating element (10) has an insertion portion (7) for engaging in the open end (6) of the terminating strip (14) and comprises a stop element (41) which is held on a basic body (30), wherein the terminating element (10) is composed of a first and a second basic component (1, 2), wherein the first basic component (1) takes the form of an end cap (5) which has the insertion portion (7) and closes the open end side (6) of the terminating strip (14), wherein the second basic component (2) has the basic body (30) and bears the stop element (41), wherein the second basic component (2) is held on the first basic component (1) in a form-fitting manner, characterized in that the stop element (41) has a first extent (E1) which is less than or approximately equal to the thickness (D) of the basic body (30), and in the same plane has a second extent (E2) which is greater than the thickness (D) of the basic body (30).
  2. Terminating element according to Claim 1,
    characterized in that the second basic component (2) bears flush against an end side (23) of the end cap (3).
  3. Terminating element according to Claim 1 or 2,
    characterized in that the outer contour (5) of the end cap (3) corresponds to the cross-sectional profile (4) of the terminating strip (14).
