Description

The present invention relates to a shot release indicator for electronic targets and an electronic shot evaluation system with such a shot release indicator.

Printed shooting targets were used in the past for sport shooters. However, this technology is gradually being replaced by electronic hit displays.

For so-called rapid fire disciplines, folding mechanisms were used that could turn targets by 90 °. When the shot was released, the shooting targets were released for the shooter for a certain time by rotating the targets. After this time, the targets were turned again and thus made no longer shootable for the shooter.

In the case of an electronic hit display, a so-called traffic light is made available. The optical signal from the traffic light tells the shooter when shots can be fired. Without clearance, the shots are not evaluated and are lost to the shooter.

The US 2015/0084281 A1 relates to an apparatus for small arms training having a firing system and a user interface and an aiming system that collects projectile location information relating to the target.

It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved shot release indicator or an improved shot evaluation system for electronic targets.

To achieve the object, the features of independent claim 1 are proposed. Advantageous further developments can be found in the subclaims.

A firing frame for a target that can be bombarded along at least one firing direction can have a through opening and a frame body. The frame body can have at least one outer surface and at least partially consist of a transparent or semi-transparent material. An optical display can be provided, which is arranged along the firing direction behind (towards) the outer surface of the firing frame. This arrangement makes it possible to propose a visual display which is arranged behind an outer surface of the shooting frame, so that the use of the transparent or semitransparent material for the frame body enables the shooter to recognize the visual display through the frame body. The optical display is protected at the same time by the frame body, since this is arranged in front of the optical display and thus between the shooter and the optical display. A projectile emitted along the firing direction therefore does not strike the optical display directly, since the transparent or semitransparent frame body is arranged in front of the optical display and thus protects it from the projectile. This advantageous arrangement enables, on the one hand, the protection of the optical display and, on the other hand, the provision of a uniform outer surface of the frame body which at least partially surrounds the optical display. The transparent or semitransparent configuration of the frame body enables optical signals of the optical display to be output through the frame body at the same time, so that the shooter can recognize that a shot has been released.

The firing frame can also have a frame body which forms a frame for a through opening. The fire frame cannot be a fire screen. The target area is arranged in the area of the passage opening.

The firing frame can be an external frame or screen of a measuring frame for determining a firing position. The measuring frame can have optical light barriers to cover the inner target area. The frame body can be provided to protect the measuring frame. This embodiment can therefore provide an advantageous shot release indicator which is particularly suitable for electronic targets.

The optical display can be at least partially covered by the transparent or semi-transparent material of the frame body. This cover of the optical display ensures that the display is protected from projectiles. In addition, the signal of the optical display can penetrate through the transparent or semi-transparent material of the frame body, so that an optical signal from the optical display can also be emitted in the direction of the outer surface of the frame body and thus in the direction of the shooter. This advantageous arrangement enables protection of the optical display for the output of optical signals at the same time.

The optical display can comprise a light source, for example an LED or a signal lamp for outputting an optical signal to the shooter, through the outer surface of the frame body. This is achieved through the use of transparent and / or semi-transparent material for the frame body, which covers the optical display in the firing direction.

The optical display can be designed in such a way that the brightness of the optical signals output is adjustable, in particular continuously.

The outer surface of the frame body, which is directly opposite the shooting position, can be a flat surface which is designed without bores and without notches. A flat surface, as the outer surface, has the further advantage that ricochets or ricochets from projectiles which hit the outer surface of the frame body are no longer deflected in an uncontrolled manner, since the outer surface has no depressions or bulges on the outer surface. The optical display can be set up in such a way that it is oriented in the direction of the shooter for emitting an optical signal through the frame body. In particular, the optical display can thus transmit a signal through the outer surface of the transparent or semi-transparent material existing frame body through in the direction of the shooter (in the direction of the projectile delivery position).

The outer surface of the shooting frame or the wall of the frame body in the area of the outer surface must be designed to be bulletproof, so that a projectile impact energy of at least 7.5 joules and more preferably 10 joules can be absorbed without damage. The frame body can further advantageously consist at least partially of a composite pane or a glass ceramic.

The optical display can advantageously be designed as a traffic light. In particular, the optical display can output at least two different colors as an optical signal. A red glowing signal and a green glowing signal can be output particularly advantageously. Such a configuration can indicate to the shooter when shots may be fired. In particular, a direct output of the optical signal to the shooter can be achieved by this optical display.

The visual display can output a visual signal to release the target area. The frame body can at least partially comprise a transparent or semitransparent material in the area of the outer surface, so that there are transparent or semitransparent areas on the frame body and the optical display is arranged in these areas or is arranged behind these areas, starting from the firing direction. The frame body can advantageously be constructed entirely from the transparent or semitransparent material (or consist of this material).

The optical display can advantageously output two different colors through the frame body. The optical display can thus output the light signals in such a way that they shine through the frame body and are thus recognizable for the shooter.

The outer surface of the shooting frame can be designed to be bulletproof. The outer surface can also form a flat end face of the shooting frame.

The frame body can advantageously be a rectangular frame and, in particular, the outer surface can be designed to be essentially rectangular. The corners can also advantageously be rounded. The through opening can also advantageously have a rectangular shape.

An electronic shot evaluation system with an electronic hit display can have a fire frame, which can include at least one of the features mentioned above.

The electronic shot evaluation system can advantageously have a target which is arranged behind the passage opening in the shot direction.

An electronic shot evaluation system can have a measuring frame for the non-contact optical determination of a bullet penetration position through a target area, and a firing frame can advantageously be designed as a complete or partial cover or cover of the measuring frame.

The electronic shot evaluation system can have a target which is surrounded by the shot frame.

The outer surface of the frame body is preferably designed to be bullet-proof and rebound-proof with regard to a projectile impact energy of at least 7.5 and preferably 10 joules.

The frame body can advantageously be a transparent pane made of glass ceramic include. The frame body can thus have a glass ceramic which is resistant to the effects of balancing in the area of the outer surface.

The frame body can also have at least one composite pane (in particular as an outer surface), which preferably has at least two polycarbonate panes that are connected to one another via a thermoplastic polyurethane film.

The frame body can also have a composite pane, which consists of at least two plastic panes which are arranged at a distance from one another, so that a cast resin layer is present between the plastic panes for connecting the panes. Additionally or alternatively, the frame body can also have a pane element which only has a pane that is coated. A polycarbonate pane is advantageous for this pane.

The frame body can advantageously have an outer surface which has a coating to increase the bulletproof security. The outer surface or the inner surface of the frame body can advantageously be provided at least partially with a coating.

The transparent or semitransparent material can be permeable to electromagnetic radiation in the spectral range that is visible to humans.

Shooting ranges and thus also evaluation devices and shooting frames or electronic targets must be inspected by a shooting range expert. The shooting frame must absorb the impact energy of the projectile. B. 7.5 joules, can accommodate without prejudice. That is why the measurement technology is covered with a so-called screen (or bombardment frame). As described, this shield must absorb the energy and limit the recoil energy of the projectile in the event that the shooter does not hit his target. If an optical signal is now placed in the vicinity of the target, there is a risk that it will be destroyed by missed shots and that the shooting range requirements will not be met. According to the invention, it is proposed that at least the firing screen consists of a transparent, preferably semitransparent material, at least partially, and that the optical display is arranged behind the transparent material in the firing direction.

In Figure 1 the bombardment frame 2 is shown. The bullet frame 2 is as Protective shield designed and can absorb impact energy of a projectile of at least 7.5 joules without damage. The optical display 3 is arranged behind the firing frame 2 (starting from the firing direction B), which is used to display the release of a shot. The optical release is advantageously implemented using green and red signal lights. The transparent or semi-transparent design of the firing frame 2 makes it possible to output the optical shot release of the optical display 3 through the firing frame 2 and thus to display it to the shooter. In the present case, the target is an electronic target. This enables an electronic hit display.

The firing frame 2 also has a passage opening 1 on which, in particular, a target image can be arranged. The upper signal light of the optical display 3 in Figure 1 preferably has a different signal color than the lower optical display 3. The frame body 2 is preferably made of transparent or partially transparent material so that the light signals of the optical display 3 can pass through this frame body 2 to enable the shooter to release or block the target to display.

In Figure 2 a side view of a measuring frame with the shooting frame 2 (shooting screen) is shown as a screen. The firing frame 2 has the outer surface A, which points in the direction of the shooter. When the firing frame 2 is fired, the projectile therefore flies along the firing direction B. The firing frame 2 thus protects the frame parts and electronic components located behind it, as well as the measuring frame.

In Figure 2 the optical display has an upper signal lamp 3a and a lower signal lamp 3b. As shown schematically, the signal lamps 3a and 3b emit optical signals through the firing frame 2 in the direction of the shooter, i.e. against the firing direction B. Signals the optical display 3 allows. On the one hand, the optical display 3 can thus be protected in a simple manner and, on the other hand, an optical signal output for the release of a shot can also be achieved at the same time, since the firing frame consists at least partially of the transparent or semi-transparent material.

In particular, the bombardment frame in the area of the optical display 3 consists of this transparent or semitransparent material. The firing frame 2 can be designed on the one hand as a flat plate or as a frame element with a flat base body and side surfaces orthogonally to the flat base body to form a cavity. The measuring frame can be arranged in this cavity. The firing frame thus encloses the measuring frame on an end face and at least one side face.

Das Ziel Z befindet sich im Bereich der Durchgangsöffnung 1.In Figure 3 a further illustration is shown from the point of view of the shooter in the direction of the firing frame 2. A target Z is shown as an example in the target area. The target Z is in the area of the passage opening 1.

In the Figure 1 and Figure 2 The optical displays 3 shown are each arranged centrally on an upper side or on a lower side of the firing frame. The firing frame is advantageously designed to be square. In an advantageous development, the optical displays can include more than two LEDs or can also be designed as optical displays for displaying characters or the like. This advantageously enables additional information to be output to the shooter.

The fire frame can be a fire screen for a target. The firing frame can comprise a single plastic pane or a composite pane. The composite pane can comprise at least two essentially planar plastic panes which are arranged parallel and at a distance from one another, so that an intermediate space remains between the plastic panes for the formation of a cast resin layer. The range is preferably about 0.3 mm to 5 mm. The space can be filled, for example, with a two-component polyurethane cast resin to form a cast resin layer and connect the panes. It is also possible to add colors, in particular photochromic colors or IR absorbers, etc. to the cast resin layer. Alternatively, a thermoplastic polyurethane film can also be used to connect the panes. The composite pane can be constructed from polycarbonate panes.
