Eine Unterkonstruktion 1 dient zur Festlegung einer Fassadenverkleidung an einer Wand 2 eines Gebäudes. An der Wand 2 sind eine Vielzahl von Trägern 3 fixiert, die in vertikalen und horizontalen Abständen, vorzugsweise in regelmäßigen Abständen, montiert sind. An den Trägern 3 sind vertikale Leisten 5 fixiert, an denen paneelförmige Fassadenverkleidungselemente 6, 7 oder 8 fixiert sind, wobei die Fassadenverkleidungselemente 6, 7 und 8 sich in ihrer Breite unterscheiden und beispielsweise aus einem extrudierten Material, insbesondere einer Mischung aus Naturstoffen und einem Polymer, herstellt sind.A
