Definitions

  • the invention relates to a holding device for a shelf on a shelf wall according to the preamble of claims 1 or 2, a shelf according to the preamble of claim 10 and the use of the holding device in a piece of furniture according to claim 12.
  • a holding device for a shelf on a shelf wall with a first connecting element arranged on the shelf wall and a second connecting element arranged in the shelf is known.
  • the second connecting element has a magnet that attracts the first connecting element in order to move a holding element of the first connecting element magnetically from a retracted retracted position into an extended holding position for holding the shelf on the shelf wall.
  • the DE 299 22 524 U1 discloses an invisibly mountable shelf support, which is preferably suitable for locking wooden shelves in row holes in carcass furniture and at the same time keeping them easily detachable and relocatable.
  • the shelf support is no longer mounted in the cabinet side wall - as was previously the case - but is located in a drill hole in the shelf.
  • connection for furniture whereby two components of a piece of furniture are held together via a double form fit and a force fit, a first form fit effect being produced by a double cylindrical pin and a hole in the component that is adapted to the shape of the pin.
  • the frictional connection of the connection is achieved in that the pin has at least one magnetizable tip or is made of magnetizable material and a magnetic material sits at the bottom of the hole, which is fixed by means of a position-securing component that is designed in a counter-shape to the pin 4.
  • the magnetizable pin can have a conical shape within the molded component. It is advisable to design the molded component in this version from solid material in order to achieve a negative shape of the same shape for the conical pin. The pin no longer has to reach as far as the component, which means that it can move.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to enable the height of the shelves in a shelf to be adjusted easily and quickly.
  • a safe and aesthetically pleasing shelf should be created.
  • the holding device should also be able to be used in pieces of furniture for holding corresponding furniture parts.
  • the holding device according to the invention for a shelf on a shelf wall is characterized in that, in addition to a first connection element to be arranged in the shelf wall, it also comprises a second connection element to be arranged in the shelf, and at least one of the connection elements has a magnet that attracts the other connection element.
  • a holding element of the first connecting element can be moved magnetically from a retracted retracted position into an extended holding position for holding the shelf.
  • the magnetic attraction between the connecting elements enables the holding element of the first connecting element to be automatically extended into the holding position as soon as the connecting elements come into magnetically effective proximity, so that no additional work step is required for this.
  • first connecting elements are provided at different heights in the shelf walls, only those holding elements in the direct vicinity of which a shelf with corresponding second connecting elements is located are in the extended holding position.
  • the holding elements of the remaining first connecting elements are in a retracted position, which avoids injuries and enables an aesthetic impression of the inside of the shelf walls.

  • the area at the free end of the locking element, where the cross section is greatest, viewed in the direction of movement between the extended holding position and the retracted retraction position of the holding element, is followed by an area of smaller cross section.
  • the free end of the locking element forms a rear grip, especially seen in the direction of movement between the retracted retracted position and the extended holding position of the holding element.
  • the rear grip can advantageously be designed to achieve a form-fitting fixation of the holding element in the extended position.
  • the first connecting element can comprise a spring element or a further magnetic element. This ensures that the holding element remains securely in the retracted position as long as it is not acted on by a magnetic force through the second connecting element.
  • the spring element can be designed as a preferably spiral compression spring around the holding element and can be supported on the one hand on an area with an enlarged cross section of the holding element and on the other hand on a securing element of the first connecting element in order to keep the holding element in the retracted retracted position. It is also possible to design the spring element as a tension spring which is connected to the holding element and the shelf wall in order to pull the holding element into the retracted retracted position.
  • the spring element can be dimensioned such that the spring element is relaxed in the retracted retracted position of the holding element. Only when the holding element is moved out of this retracted position is the spring element pretensioned. This means that the magnetic force for moving the holding element can be extremely low. However, it is also possible to design the spring element in such a way that it is also pretensioned in the retracted position of the holding element, which results in particularly good securing of the holding element in this position.
  • the spring element in addition to the usual spiral-shaped construction made of metal or plastic, can also consist of a foam with a corresponding expandability or compressibility, for example a hollow cylinder or a spiral made of foam.
  • this securing element is designed as a socket for receiving and guiding the holding element.
  • the socket is to be designed in such a way that, although the retaining element can be received and guided therein, the area of the enlarged cross section of the retaining element cannot pass through the socket.
  • the retaining element preferably has an area with an enlarged cross section for securing on the first connecting element. This prevents the holding element from being inadvertently detached from the first connecting element and falling out of the shelf wall.
  • the area with an enlarged cross section can, depending on the design of the Holding element can be arranged centrally or at a rear end opposite the protruding end of the holding element.
  • the holding element can be designed in such a way that in the extended holding position it protrudes only on one inner side of the relevant shelf wall. This results in a magnetic force acting in the vertical direction between the additional magnetic elements, which causes an additional force acting downward in the vertical direction on the shelf or the shelf box against the holding device. Description

The invention relates to a holding device for a shelf on a shelf wall according to the preamble of claims 1 or 2, a shelf according to the preamble of claim 10 and the use of the holding device in a piece of furniture according to claim 12.

From the prior art it is known to secure the shelves on the shelf walls by means of connecting elements in the form of protruding retaining pins made of metal or plastic. A part of the holding pins of a shelf are inserted into holes on the inside of the shelf walls, so that the protruding part of each holding pin can serve as a support for the shelf. In order to be able to adjust the height of a certain shelf, a large number of bores for receiving retaining pins are provided on the inside of the shelf walls. This allows the height of a shelf to be adjusted by first inserting all the retaining pins of a shelf at the same height into the corresponding bores in the shelf walls and then placing the shelf on these retaining pins. The disadvantage of this, however, is that several work steps are required in order to adjust the height of a shelf, which results in a corresponding expenditure of time. In addition, the unused holes in the shelf walls reduce the aesthetic impression, or there is a risk of injury if retaining pins protrude from these holes.

From the JP 2009 160 033 A a holding device for a shelf on a shelf wall with a first connecting element arranged on the shelf wall and a second connecting element arranged in the shelf is known. The second connecting element has a magnet that attracts the first connecting element in order to move a holding element of the first connecting element magnetically from a retracted retracted position into an extended holding position for holding the shelf on the shelf wall.

The DE 299 22 524 U1 discloses an invisibly mountable shelf support, which is preferably suitable for locking wooden shelves in row holes in carcass furniture and at the same time keeping them easily detachable and relocatable. The shelf support is no longer mounted in the cabinet side wall - as was previously the case - but is located in a drill hole in the shelf.

Further reveals the DE 20 2013 00 6619 U1 a connection for furniture, whereby two components of a piece of furniture are held together via a double form fit and a force fit, a first form fit effect being produced by a double cylindrical pin and a hole in the component that is adapted to the shape of the pin. The frictional connection of the connection is achieved in that the pin has at least one magnetizable tip or is made of magnetizable material and a magnetic material sits at the bottom of the hole, which is fixed by means of a position-securing component that is designed in a counter-shape to the pin 4. The magnetizable pin can have a conical shape within the molded component. It is advisable to design the molded component in this version from solid material in order to achieve a negative shape of the same shape for the conical pin. The pin no longer has to reach as far as the component, which means that it can move.

The object of the invention is therefore to enable the height of the shelves in a shelf to be adjusted easily and quickly. In addition, a safe and aesthetically pleasing shelf should be created. The holding device should also be able to be used in pieces of furniture for holding corresponding furniture parts.

This object is achieved by a holding device with the features of claim 1 or claim 2, a shelf with the features of claim 10 and the use of such a holding device in a piece of furniture according to claim 12. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

The holding device according to the invention for a shelf on a shelf wall is characterized in that, in addition to a first connection element to be arranged in the shelf wall, it also comprises a second connection element to be arranged in the shelf, and at least one of the connection elements has a magnet that attracts the other connection element. As a result, a holding element of the first connecting element can be moved magnetically from a retracted retracted position into an extended holding position for holding the shelf. The magnetic attraction between the connecting elements enables the holding element of the first connecting element to be automatically extended into the holding position as soon as the connecting elements come into magnetically effective proximity, so that no additional work step is required for this. If a plurality of first connecting elements are provided at different heights in the shelf walls, only those holding elements in the direct vicinity of which a shelf with corresponding second connecting elements is located are in the extended holding position. The holding elements of the remaining first connecting elements are in a retracted position, which avoids injuries and enables an aesthetic impression of the inside of the shelf walls.

Furthermore, the holding element has a blocking element at a front end facing the shelf, in which the cross section is greatest in the region of its free end. As a result, in the extended holding position, the locking element can engage behind a corresponding undercut on the shelf and thus secure the first connecting element on the shelf. In addition to the magnetic attraction between the connecting elements, the first connecting element is also held in the extended holding position by the locking element, which increases safety.

In one aspect of the invention, the area at the free end of the locking element, where the cross section is greatest, viewed in the direction of movement between the extended holding position and the retracted retraction position of the holding element, is followed by an area of smaller cross section. In a further aspect of the invention, the free end of the locking element forms a rear grip, especially seen in the direction of movement between the retracted retracted position and the extended holding position of the holding element. In this case, the rear grip can advantageously be designed to achieve a form-fitting fixation of the holding element in the extended position.

To hold and bias the holding element in the retracted retracted position, the first connecting element can comprise a spring element or a further magnetic element. This ensures that the holding element remains securely in the retracted position as long as it is not acted on by a magnetic force through the second connecting element. The spring element can be designed as a preferably spiral compression spring around the holding element and can be supported on the one hand on an area with an enlarged cross section of the holding element and on the other hand on a securing element of the first connecting element in order to keep the holding element in the retracted retracted position. It is also possible to design the spring element as a tension spring which is connected to the holding element and the shelf wall in order to pull the holding element into the retracted retracted position.

The spring element can be dimensioned such that the spring element is relaxed in the retracted retracted position of the holding element. In addition, in addition to the usual spiral-shaped construction made of metal or plastic, the spring element can also consist of a foam with a corresponding expandability or compressibility, for example a hollow cylinder or a spiral made of foam.

In order to fasten the first connecting element to the corresponding shelf wall, it can furthermore comprise a securing element. In a preferred embodiment, this securing element is designed as a socket for receiving and guiding the holding element. The socket is to be designed in such a way that, although the retaining element can be received and guided therein, the area of the enlarged cross section of the retaining element cannot pass through the socket.

The retaining element preferably has an area with an enlarged cross section for securing on the first connecting element. This prevents the holding element from being inadvertently detached from the first connecting element and falling out of the shelf wall. The area with an enlarged cross section can, depending on the design of the Holding element can be arranged centrally or at a rear end opposite the protruding end of the holding element. The holding element can be designed in such a way that in the extended holding position it protrudes only on one inner side of the relevant shelf wall. This is the case, for example, with the outer shelf walls of a shelf. Then the portion of the enlarged cross section is located at the rear end. However, if additional partition walls are arranged between these outer shelf walls in a shelf, corresponding first connecting elements must be provided on both sides of these partition walls, but this can be achieved particularly favorably by arranging the holding element of each first connecting element in a through hole in the partition wall, that it can protrude from both side surfaces of the partition. In this case, the area of the enlarged cross section is preferably arranged centrally on the holding element.

The securing element can preferably have a first section, the inner contour of which is slightly larger than the outer contour of the holding element, and a second section, the inner contour of which is slightly larger than the outer contour of the area with the enlarged cross section of the holding element. As a result, the guidance of the holding element in the securing element can be improved, since the holding element is completely guided in the securing element. In this way, for example, a securing element inserted at an angle into the shelf wall cannot impair the function of the pull-out holding element, since the latter cannot tilt and get stuck on a wall of the shelf wall. The cross-section of the inner contour of this securing element and the corresponding cross-section of the outer contour of the holding element can, for example, be rectangular. This strip-like design of the holding element enables a support surface that is larger than a round cross section, as a result of which the surface pressure between the holding element and the shelf or the shelf box is reduced. In addition, such a cross section is also secured against twisting, so that reproducible contact of the holding element on the shelf or the shelf box is ensured.

The area of the free end of the holding element is preferably that area which protrudes from the shelf wall in the extended holding position of the holding element.

Furthermore, the free end of the locking element can be designed to be rectangular or trapezoidal in the longitudinal section of the holding element. Likewise, contact surfaces between the locking element and the undercut can be at an angle to, in particular in Direction of movement of the holding element between the retracted retracted position and the extended holding position extending, horizontal plane be formed.

In an advantageous embodiment, the holding element can be designed as an elongated holding pin. However, it is also possible to design the holding element, for example, as an elongated bar, which enables a particularly large-area force transmission between the shelf and the shelf wall. Other configurations of the holding element, for example with different cross-sections or thicknesses, are also possible.

According to the invention, a shelf has at least one holding device described above and below, as well as at least two shelf walls and at least one shelf. The second connecting element of the holding device is arranged at an end of one of the shelves facing a shelf wall, and the first connecting element of the holding device is arranged in the corresponding shelf wall opposite the second connecting element. With such a shelf, the height of a shelf can be adjusted quickly and easily, since the holding element of the respective first connecting element is automatically moved into the extended holding position by the corresponding shelf. The holding elements of the first connecting elements not used to hold a shelf are still in the retracted retracted position, which reduces the risk of injury from protruding holding elements and promotes the aesthetic impression.

It can be advantageous to arrange the first connecting element in the shelf wall in such a way that the holding element can be moved essentially in a horizontal plane between the holding position and the retracted position. With the mostly vertical shelf walls, vertical recesses are consequently to be provided in the shelf walls for receiving the connecting elements, which are easy to manufacture. In this case, the holding element of the second connecting element can also be moved without the influence of gravity. However, it can also be advantageous to use the force of gravity on the holding element in such a way that it is thereby held in the retracted retracted position. For this purpose, the first connecting element is to be arranged in the shelf wall such that the holding element is arranged higher in the holding position than in the retracted position. This is achieved in that the recess for the first connecting element has an acute angle with respect to the shelf wall, which can be achieved for example by inclined holes. In this case, the spring element or the additional magnetic element of the holding device can be dispensed with, which has a favorable effect on the service life and the production costs.

According to the invention it is also provided to use the holding element described for holding corresponding furniture parts in a piece of furniture. These furniture parts can be shelves of any kind, for example floors in a desk, in a cupboard or even holding a slatted frame in a bed frame.

In order to facilitate the positioning of the shelf on the two opposing shelf walls and to improve the stability of the shelf, it can also be provided that the shelf or the side walls of a shelf box, which are attached to the shelf at the side ends and are parallel to extend the shelf walls, have at least one additional magnetic element, which corresponds in the built-in position of the shelf or the shelf box between the shelf walls with at least one further additional magnetic element in one of the shelf walls, in particular is positioned correspondingly opposite, so that it is more magnetically effective Attraction. When assembling such a shelf or such a shelf box, these additional magnetic elements come into magnetically effective proximity to each other and support the exact positioning of the shelf or the shelf box between the shelf walls due to the increasing magnetic force as the distance between them is reduced. As a result, the shelf or the shelf box can be brought into its correct position between the shelf walls more easily and quickly, whereby the connecting elements are also more easily positioned relative to one another and thus the automatic extension of the holding elements is facilitated. In addition, these additional magnetic elements connect the shelf or the side walls of a shelf box with the shelf walls horizontally, which strengthens the cohesion of these components.

Instead of additional magnetic elements directly opposite one another, it can also be provided that the additional magnetic elements in the shelf or the side walls of a shelf box and the shelf wall are arranged vertically offset from one another in such a way that the additional magnetic element in the shelf or the shelf box in the built-in position of the shelf or the shelf box, that is, when the shelf or the shelf box are supported by the holding device, in a vertical position Direction is arranged slightly above the further additional magnetic element in the shelf wall. This results in a magnetic force acting in the vertical direction between the additional magnetic elements, which causes an additional force acting downward in the vertical direction on the shelf or the shelf box against the holding device. As a result, the contact pressure of the shelf or the shelf box on the holding device and in particular the holding element is increased, which increases the stability of the shelf.

It can also be provided that the additional magnetic element in the shelf or the shelf box is formed in one piece with the magnetically designed second connecting element. This combined magnetic element would then advantageously be arranged in such a way that the magnetic force acts essentially horizontally so that both the additional magnetic element in the shelf wall and the first connecting element come within magnetically effective range, so that on the one hand between the combined magnetic element and the first connecting element a sufficient force to extend the holding element of the first connecting element acts and on the other hand the magnetic force between the combined magnetic element and the further additional magnetic element causes the positioning and pressing force described above. In order to minimize unwanted influencing of the holding element by the further additional magnetic element in the shelf wall, the holding element can only be designed magnetically at its outer, for example cylindrical end with a smaller diameter. Alternatively or in addition, the further additional magnetic element can also be made significantly smaller, in particular have a smaller diameter. This can also be used in the embodiments described above and below.

In order to position the shelf or the shelf box more easily in a clear, predetermined position between the shelf walls and to avoid incorrect positioning, e.g. that the shelf or the shelf box are installed rotated 180 ° around the vertical axis, it can be provided that, for example, the additional magnetic elements are arranged asymmetrically in the shelf or the shelf box and correspondingly in the shelf walls in a side view of the shelf or the shelf box or only one-sided corresponding magnetic elements are arranged in the shelf or the shelf box and the shelf wall. If the shelf or the shelf box is incorrectly assembled between the shelf walls, the excessively large distance between the additional magnetic elements corresponding to one another do not have a sufficient magnetic force, whereupon the user recognizes the missing positioning aid and repositioning.

In order to additionally facilitate the actuation of the holding element, the holding element can consist of a material that is light compared to steel, but nevertheless magnetically active, and / or can be made hollow or perforated. As a result, the inertia of the holding element can be reduced without the magnetic force on the holding element being noticeably reduced. A lower magnetic force is therefore already sufficient to bring the holding element into its connecting position.

Fig. 1 shows a sectional view of a first embodiment of the holding device 1 inserted into a shelf 2 and a shelf wall 3 spaced therefrom of a shelf, which is only partially shown. This relative position of the shelf 2 to the shelf wall 3 represents the situation in which the shelf 2 has not yet been inserted into the shelf. The holding device 1 comprises a first connecting element 4 and a second connecting element 5. The second connecting element 5 is designed as a magnet and is inserted flush into a recess in the shelf 2 from below at the end of the shelf 2 facing the shelf wall 3.

In the shelf wall 3, the first recess 6 is formed as a hole in the side Connecting element 4 arranged. This comprises a holding element in the form of an elongated holding pin 7, a spring element 8 designed as a spiral spring and a securing element 9. The holding pin 7 consists wholly or partially of a magnetically effective, i.e. attractable material, for example steel, iron, etc. The securing element 9 is designed as a socket, the inner diameter of which essentially corresponds to the diameter of the retaining pin 7, so that the securing element 9 can receive and guide the retaining pin 7. To fasten the securing element 9 in the shelf wall 3, it is provided to fasten it flush with the side surface of the shelf wall 3 in the recess 6 via an adhesive connection, a press connection, a threaded connection or the like.

The retaining pin 7 is designed to be movable relative to the securing element 9. The depth of the recess 6 preferably corresponds to at least the length of the holding pin 7, so that the holding pin 7 in a retracted retracted position is flush with the side surface of the shelf wall 3 with its outer end pointing in the direction of the shelf 2, and in any case does not protrude beyond it . Since no part protrudes in this retracted position and the impression of a closed side surface of the shelf wall 3 is conveyed, there is no risk of injury and an aesthetically pleasing uninterrupted side surface of the shelf wall 3 is created. However, the securing element 9 may also have a flange or protruding beyond the shelf wall 3 Have stop, the retaining pin 7 then preferably not protruding over it.

At the end of the retaining pin 7 pointing into the recess 6, an area with an enlarged cross section 10 is formed. The diameter of the area with enlarged cross-section 10 is larger than the inner diameter of the securing element 9, which is designed as a bushing, so that the retaining pin 7 cannot pass completely through the securing element 9 and fall out of the recess 6 in the shelf wall.

Between the securing element 9 and the area with an enlarged cross section 10, the spring element 8 designed as a spiral spring is arranged around the retaining pin 7. The spring element 8 is pretensioned at one end against the area with enlarged cross section 10 and at the other end against the securing element 9, so that the retaining pin 7 of the first connecting element 4 is held in the retracted retracted position.

In Fig. 2 FIG. 13 is a cross-sectional view of the first embodiment of FIG Fig. 1 shown, wherein in this relative position of the shelf 2 to the shelf wall 3 of the shelf 2 is inserted into the shelf. Due to the proximity of the second connecting element 5, designed as a magnet, to the first connecting element 4, a magnetic force acts between the Connecting elements 4 and 5, which is greater than the retaining force by the spring element 8, so that the retaining pin 7 is in an extended retaining position. In this holding position, the holding pin 7 is acted upon by the magnet of the second connecting element 5 against the action of the spring element 8, whereby the holding pin 7 protrudes from the side surface of the shelf wall 3 and forms a support for the shelf 2.

In Fig. 2a is a modified embodiment of Fig. 2 shown, in which an alternative securing element 9a is provided, which differs from the securing element 9 Figure 2 Extends over the entire length of the recess 6 in the shelf wall 3. The other components correspond to those from Figures 1 and 2 and are correspondingly provided with the same reference numerals.

The alternative securing element 9a has a first section, the inner contour of which, as with the securing element 9, essentially corresponds to the outer contour of the retaining pin 7, so that the alternative securing element 9a can also receive and guide the retaining pin 7. In addition, however, the alternative securing element 9a has a second section, which preferably adjoins the first section directly and has an inner contour that is larger than the inner contour of the first section. The inner contour of the second section essentially corresponds to the outer contour of the area with enlarged cross section 10 of retaining pin 7. As a result, the area with enlarged cross section 10 of retaining pin 7 is received and guided on the inside of alternative securing element 9a.

Due to the tight dimensional tolerances with which the alternative securing element 9a can be manufactured, and a suitable material selection for the securing element 9a, for example plastic or metal, which enables significantly more precise production and low coefficients of friction compared to a shelf wall 3 made of wood materials, for example, a Tilting of the retaining pin 7 reliably prevented and the actuation of the retaining pin between the retracted retracted position and the extended holding position can be further improved.

The outer contour of the securing element 9a is identical in the first and second section and essentially corresponds to the inner contour of the recess 6 in the shelf wall 3. To attach the alternative securing element 9a in the shelf wall 3, as with the securing element 9, it is provided via an adhesive connection, a press connection, a To fasten a threaded connection or the like flush with the side surface of the shelf wall 3 in the recess 6.

The securing element 9a is preferably designed as a cylindrical bushing, the second section with the enlarged inner contour, here the inner diameter, being formed by a blind hole and the first section being formed by the bottom of the blind hole with the bore with the smaller inner contour, here the inner diameter of the bore .

Instead of the circular contours or cross-sections here, other contours or cross-sections can advantageously also be used, for example polygonal, in particular triangular, square, hexagonal or octagonal.

In Fig. 3 a sectional view of a second embodiment of the holding device 1 is shown. In contrast to the first embodiment, the second connecting element 5, which is also designed as a magnet, is inserted into the shelf 2 from the side facing the shelf wall 3. In addition, an additional lateral recess 11 is provided in the shelf 2 for the retaining pin 7. In the position shown of the shelf 2 in relation to the shelf wall 3, the retaining pin 7 of the first connecting element 4 has partially moved into the extended retaining position so that it protrudes from the side surface of the shelf wall 3. In the second embodiment shown, the first connecting element 4, designed as a magnet, is located in the extension of the additional recess 11 in the shelf 2, so that, on the one hand, a particularly good magnetic force transmission between the connecting elements 4 and 5 through the essentially collinear arrangement and a stable support of the shelf 2 via the retaining pin 7 arranged in the additional recess 11 results.

Furthermore, in this second embodiment, instead of the spring element 8 of the first embodiment, a further magnetic element 12 is arranged at the bottom of the recess 6, which has a magnetically attractive effect on the retaining pin 7 in order to hold it in the retracted retracted position.

The advantage of the magnetic element 12 over the spring element 8 is that the magnetic force decreases more than the linearly decreasing force of a spring, so that the magnetic element 12 can be dimensioned such that in the extended holding position only a very small force acts on the retaining pin 7, whereas in the retracted retracted position the force is greater than this ratio could be implemented with a spring element 8 designed as a spiral spring. As a result, both positions of the retaining pin 7 of the first connecting element 4 can be maintained with greater reliability. The second connecting element 5 can be movable within the shelf 2 in the direction of the first connecting element 4. Due to the smaller distance from the retaining pin 7, the magnetic force is increased or a weaker magnet can also be used.

In Fig. 4 a sectional view of a third embodiment of the holding device 1 is shown. The recess 6 is arranged at an acute angle to the shelf wall 3 such that the holding pin 7 of the first connecting element 4 arranged in the recess 6 is higher in the extended holding position than in the retracted position shown. The additional recess 11 on the side of the shelf 2 facing the shelf wall 3 has the same angle at the upper boundary as the recess 6 in the shelf wall 3 so that it is safely attached to it.

The acute angle of the recess 6 ensures that the retaining pin 7 falls into the retracted retracted position solely due to gravity and remains there, provided it is not pulled out by the magnet of the second connecting element 5. This allows the spring element 8 and the further magnetic element 12 of the first and second embodiment can be dispensed with, which reduces the manufacturing costs.

In Fig. 5 a sectional view of a fourth embodiment of the holding device 1 is shown. This differs from the first embodiment in that the recess 11 is arranged in the center of the side of the shelf 2 facing the shelf wall 3, so that in the section shown, both above and below the recess 11, the front side of the shelf 2 facing the shelf wall 3 protrudes. This ensures that, unlike the previous embodiments, the shelf 2 is supported by the holding device 1 not only against forces acting vertically downward on the shelf 2 with respect to the shelf wall 3, but also against vertically Forces acting on top of the shelf 2. This increases the security of the mounting of the shelf 2 on the shelf wall 3 even further.

In addition, the second connecting element 5 also has a guide element 13, which is arranged in the recess 11 in the shelf 2 for receiving the retaining pin 7 of the first connecting element 4. This guide element 13, which can be connected to the shelf 2 in the same way as the securing element 9, ensures that the retaining pin 7 is held securely and without wear and that the second connecting element 5 is also secured in the recess 11. The front end of the guide element 13 can preferably be designed in the form of a funnel in order to simply insert the retaining pin 7 into the guide element 13 when it is pulled magnetically from the shelf wall 3. This is advantageous because the magnetic force of the magnet of the second connecting element already acts when the shelf 2 approaches the retaining pin 7, and not only when the shelf 2 is precisely aligned with the retaining pin 7.

In order to dismantle the shelf 2, the retaining pin 7 can be moved back into the retracted position with a stronger, external magnet. This external magnet can preferably act on the retaining pin 7 in a pulling manner from the side of the shelf wall 3 opposite the recess 6. It is also possible, however, to press an at least partially magnetic retaining pin 7 into the retracted position from the side of the shelf wall 3 facing the shelf 2 by an external magnet with a correspondingly oppositely polarized polarity. In any case, the force resulting from the spring element 8 and the external magnet must be greater than the magnetic force between the connecting elements 4 and 5 in order to enable the shelf 2 to be released.

In the Fig. 5 The embodiment shown can also generally be used for connecting pieces of furniture, for example for positioning and fixing boxes stacked on top of one another. Because of the magnetic force, the holding device can be arranged spatially freely on the furniture. This also applies in particular in combination with the additional magnetic elements described above for the mutual positioning of the furniture parts to be connected.

In Fig. 6 is a sectional view of a fifth embodiment of the holding device 1 is shown, which is designed according to the invention. In contrast to the in Fig. 1 shown first embodiment the second connecting element 5, designed as a magnet, does not close flush with the underside of the shelf 2, but is lowered relative to this. The end face of the shelf 2 facing the shelf wall 3 thus forms an undercut 14 which can be engaged from behind by a locking element 15 arranged on the front end of the retaining pin 7 protruding from the shelf wall 3. The locking element 15 has the largest cross-section in the region of its free end in order to thus engage behind the undercut 14 in the extended holding position of the holding pin 7.

The free end of the locking element 15 can be at right angles in the longitudinal section of the retaining pin 7 or as in the FIG Fig. 7 shown sixth, according to the invention designed embodiment be trapezoidal. This grip behind the retaining pin 7 on the shelf 2 prevents unintentional movement of the retaining pin 7 in the extended holding position and thus achieves a positive, particularly secure fixing of the retaining pin 7 in this position. In particular, an uncontrolled detachment of the shelf 2 from the shelf wall 3 is reliably prevented, which increases the horizontal stability.

The outer diameter of the locking element 15 can also at least correspond to the outer diameter of the securing element 9 or be greater than this. If, in this case, the securing element 9 is sunk into the shelf wall 3 in such a way that the locking element 15 is flush with the side surface of the shelf wall 3 in the retracted position of the retaining pin 7, the locking element 15 covers the securing element 9, creating an aesthetically attractive side surface of the shelf wall 3 results and the penetration of dirt into the first connecting element 4 is reliably prevented.

In addition, the in Fig. 7 The embodiment shown of the locking element 15 together with the undercut 14 causes an additional force on the retaining pin 7 in the direction of the extended retaining position. For this purpose, the contact surfaces between the locking element 15 and the undercut 14 are to be formed at an angle to a horizontal plane, so that the holding pin 7 is pulled into the extended holding position by the weight of the shelf 2. As a result, the required magnetic force of the magnet of the second connecting element 5 can be selected to be lower, and secure holding of the shelf 2 on the shelf wall 3 is nevertheless achieved. The in Figures 6 and 7 The embodiments shown can particularly advantageously also have a rectangular cross section, the locking element 15, whereby an enlarged contact surface compared to the Shelf 2 and thus also with the in Figure 7 The embodiment shown results in a higher additional pull-out force on the retaining pin 7.

In Fig. 8 a seventh embodiment of the holding device is shown. This is characterized in that the shelf wall shown is an intermediate wall 16 on which shelves 2 are arranged on both sides. In such a shelf it can be provided that on both sides of the intermediate shelf 16, as not shown here, a single first connecting element 4 is arranged according to the embodiment described above. However, it is also possible to configure the first connecting element 4 in such a way that the area with an enlarged cross section 10 is arranged centrally on the retaining pin 7. This makes it possible to use both ends of the retaining pin 7 to hold a shelf 2. For this purpose, the recess 6 in the intermediate wall 16 is to be designed as a through-hole, so that the retaining pin 7 protrudes either from the one side surface or the opposite side surface of the intermediate wall 16. In order to ensure a central arrangement of the movable retaining pin 7 in the retracted retraction position, two securing elements 9 and two spring elements 8 are provided which, according to the previous embodiments, bias the retaining pin 7 into the retracted retraction position. The length of the retaining pin 7 corresponds to the thickness of the intermediate wall 16, so that in the retracted retracted position, the retaining pin 7 does not protrude from any side surface of the intermediate wall 16. In Fig. 9 Further embodiments of the holding device 1 are shown by way of example in an end cross section through a shelf 2. The holding device 1a is characterized in that both the holding element 7 of the first connecting element 4 and the second connecting element 5, which is designed as a magnet, have a circular cross section. In this case, the corresponding recesses in the shelf 2 and also in the shelf wall 3 can be designed as a circular bore, which is particularly easy to manufacture. In addition, the first connecting element 4 and the second connecting element 5 can be designed to be collinear, which results in particularly good magnetic force transmission. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the holding element 7 is supported on the shelf 2, which has both a wear-reducing and high load-bearing effect. As the holding device 1b shows, the second connecting element 5 can also have a square or rectangular cross section and the holding element 7 of the first connecting element 4 can be arranged underneath. A particularly good one because it is flat The forces are transmitted in the case of the holding device 1c, in which the holding element 7 also has a square or rectangular cross section, at least in the area of the end facing the shelf 2.

In all the embodiments shown, the area with enlarged cross section 10 can be adapted in size and shape to the cross section of the recess 6 in order to achieve a guiding effect and additional support for the holding element 7. In addition, instead of the second connecting element 5, the holding element 7 of the first connecting element 4 can be wholly or partially magnetic, the second connecting element 5 then being made of a magnetically attractable material such as steel, iron, etc. It is also possible to make both the second connecting element 5 and the holding element 7 of the first connecting element 4 completely or partially magnetic. The poles of the magnets are to be aligned in such a way that the holding element 7 is drawn towards the second connecting element 5 when the second connecting element 5 comes near it. In order to achieve a visually appealing and uniform surface and to protect the second connecting element 5, designed as a magnet, from damage, the second connecting element 5 can be partially or completely covered by a cover, for example made of plastic.
