Claims (7)

  1. Crimpeinheit zum Crimpen einer Materialbahn (100), die zur Herstellung von Produkten der Tabakindustrie verwendet wird, umfassend:
    - eine Crimpstation (20), umfassend eine erste Crimprolle (21) und eine zweite Crimprolle (22), die betriebswirksam gekoppelt sind, um eine Vielzahl an einfach zu faltenden Längslinien auf der Bahn (100) auf dem Weg zwischen den Crimprollen (21, 22) zu bilden;
    - eine Sammelstation (30), die sich stromabwärts der Crimpstation (20) befindet und so konfiguriert ist, dass sie die Bahn (100) erhält und schrittweise sammelt, um der Bahn (100) eine im Wesentlichen zylindrische Form zu geben;
    wobei die Station entlang der Vorschubrichtung der Bahn (100) umfasst:
    - ein Vorformelement (31), dessen Querschnittsform quer zur Vorschubrichtung der Bahn (100) gekrümmt und geformt ist, um der Bahn (100) eine Form zu geben, die im Wesentlichen der eines U ähnelt; und
    - eine Formvorrichtung (32), die konfiguriert ist, um die vorgeformte Bahn (100) von dem Vorformelement (31) zu erhalten und aufweisend einen Formungskanal (32a), um der Bahn (100) die im Wesentlichen zylindrische Form zu geben; dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Vorformelement (31) die gekrümmte Form auf deren Außenfläche (31a) aufweist, die ausgelegt ist, um mit der Bahn (100) in Kontakt zu kommen, wobei die Außenfläche (31a) eine Querschnittsform quer zur Vorschubrichtung der Bahn (100) aufweist, die gekrümmt und geformt ist, um der Bahn (100) eine Form zu geben, die im Wesentlichen der eines U ähnelt, und die entlang der Außenfläche (31a) auch eine Folge von Vorsprüngen und Aussparungen aufweist, die ausgelegt sind, um die Bahn (100) an den jeweiligen einfach zu faltenden Längslinien einzugreifen, sodass die Bahn (100) entlang der einfach zu faltenden Längslinien vorgefaltet wird.
  2. Einheit nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Vorsprünge und Aussparungen entlang der gesamten Außenfläche (31a) des Vorformelements (31) verteilt sind.
  3. Einheit nach einem oder beiden der Ansprüche 1 und 2, wobei die Vorsprünge und Aussparungen entlang der Außenfläche (31a) des Vorformelements (31) heterogen beabstandet sind, wobei der Abstand zwischen benachbarten Zähnen zum Eingreifen eines Abschnitts des Randes der Bahn (100) insbesondere größer als der Abstand zwischen benachbarten Zähnen zum Eingreifen des zentralen Abschnitts der Bahn (100) ist.
  4. Einheit nach einem oder mehreren der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei sich die Außenfläche (31a) des Vorformelements (31) entlang einer offenen Linie erstreckt, die durch einen Stützabschnitt (31b) zusammengefügt ist, und wobei der Stützabschnitt (31b) konfiguriert ist, um das Vorformelement (31) in einer vorbestimmten Position in der Schwebe zu halten.
  5. Einheit nach Anspruch 4, umfassend Einstellmittel (31c) zum Einstellen der Position und/oder Orientierung des Vorformelements (31), wobei die Einstellmittel (31c) mit dem Stützabschnitt (31b) assoziiert sind.
  6. Einheit nach Anspruch 5, wobei die Außenfläche (31a) des Vorformelements (31) eine nach oben gerichtete Konkavität aufweist und die Einstellmittel (31c) konfiguriert sind, um das Vorformelement (31) anzuheben oder abzusenken.
  7. Einheit nach Anspruch 5 oder 6, wobei die Außenfläche (31a) des Vorformelements (31) eine nach oben gerichtete Konkavität aufweist und die Einstellmittel (31c) konfiguriert sind, um das Vorformelement (31) um eine Achse (K) quer zur Vorschubrichtung der Bahn (100) und vorzugsweise horizontal zu drehen.
