  • A faucet using the rotating mechanism includes a faucet body and a faucet base, wherein the faucet base comprises a faucet switch and the rotating mechanism, and the faucet body is fixedly connected with the rotating member.
  • The invention has the beneficial effects that: the faucet fixed on the rotating member can rotate along with rotation of the rotating member around the mounting base, the limiting device is arranged on the mounting base to fix the rotating member rotating to a certain position, thereby solving the problem that the faucet cannot be fixed due to loosening.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
  • The invention will be further illustrated below in connection with the drawings and embodiments.
    • FIG. 1 is an exploded view of an embodiment of a faucet according to the present invention;
    • FIG. 2 is a structural schematic diagram of a limiting device of the faucet viewed from one angle; and
    • FIG. 3 is a structural schematic diagram of the limiting device of Figure 2 viewed from another angle.
    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
  • With reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, a rotating mechanism of the invention comprises a mounting base 3 fixedly connected onto a working table and a rotating member 4 rotationally connected with the mounting base 3, wherein a faucet body 1 is fixedly connected with the rotating member 4, and the mounting base 3 is provided with a limiting device for fixing the position of the rotating member 4.
  • In use, the rotating member 4 rotates around the mounting base 3, the limiting device is arranged on the mounting base 3, and the rotating member 4, which rotates to a certain position can be fixed, so as to solve a problem that the rotating member 4 cannot be fixed due to loosening.
  • Preferably, the limiting device comprises a limiting round ball 11 arranged between the rotating member 4 and the mounting base 3 and an elastic member 12 abutted with the limiting round ball 11, wherein the mounting base 3 is provided with an elongated guide hole 13 for accommodating the elastic member 12 and the limiting round ball 11, and the rotating member 4 is provided with a groove 18 matched with the limiting round ball 11 in shape.
  • Preferably, the elastic member 12 comprises a spring, which rotates along with the rotating member 4. When the groove 18 is in a position opposite to the elongated guide hole 13, the limiting round ball 11 will be abutted with the groove 18 under the action of the elastic member 12, thus fixing the rotating member 4. By effectively enabling the limiting round ball 11 to be abutted with a bottom surface of the groove 18, a better limiting effect on the rotating member 4 is achieved.
  • The rotating member 4 is provided with a plurality of grooves 18 at intervals along the circumference. By providing the plurality of grooves 18, the rotating member 4 can be fixed at a plurality of positions, thus enabling the rotating member 4 to stay at a plurality of different positions.
  • Preferably, in this embodiment, two grooves 18 are provided. The rotating member 4 is provided with an elongated key abutted with the limiting round ball 11, and the bottom of at least one of the grooves 18 is pierced by a through hole for accommodating the elongated key.
  • In this embodiment, preferably, the groove 18 comprises a first groove provided with a through hole and a second groove having a depth smaller than that of the first groove. The elongated key is accommodated in the through hole. By arranging the elongated key, which can be abutted with the limiting round ball 11, a user can push and press the elongated key during use to remove the limiting round ball 11 abutted within the first groove so as to achieve an effect that the rotating member 4 is not fixed by the limiting round ball 11.
  • Since the depth of the second groove abutted with the limiting round ball 11 is smaller than that of the first groove, the user can remove the limiting round ball 11 from the second groove only by a large torsion, which facilitates use by the user.
  • Preferably, the elongated key comprises a long rod 15 accommodated in the rotating member 4 and a key 14 arranged on an outer surface of the rotating member 4 and detachably mounted with the rotating member 4. By separating the elongated key into two portions and arranging one portion inside the rotating member 4, the problem that the faucet cannot continue to work due to loss of the elongated key can be effectively prevented, and the key 14 arranged outside the rotating member 4 can be detachably mounted with the rotating member 4, which is convenient to replace.
  • Preferably, the long rod 15 has a diameter greater than that of the key 14, so that the long rod 15 does not come out of the rotating member 4 during use, thereby facilitating use. A boss is provided at the top of the key 14; and a recess, which can accommodate the boss is provided at an upper portion of the rotating member 4. The abutment of the boss with the recess prevents the key 14 from falling into the rotating member 4.
  • Preferably, a protrusion 16 is provided on a surface of the mounting base 3, which is abutted with the rotating member 4, and a sliding chute 17 for the protrusion 16 to slide is provided on a surface of the rotating member 4, which is abutted with the mounting base 3. With the rotation of the rotating member 4, the protrusion 16 moves in the sliding chute 17, thus effectively limiting a travel of the rotating member 4.
  • A faucet using the rotating mechanism comprises a faucet body 1 and a faucet base, wherein the faucet base includes a faucet switch 2 and the rotating mechanism, and the faucet body 1 is fixedly connected with the rotating member 4.
  • In use, the faucet fixed on the rotating member 4 can rotate along with rotation of the rotating member 4 around the mounting base 3. When the groove 18 is in a position opposite to the elongated guide hole 13, the limiting round ball 11 will be abutted with the groove 18 under the action of the elastic member 12, thus fixing rotating member 4. By effectively enabling the limiting round ball 11 to be abutted with the bottom surface of the groove 18, the problem that faucet cannot be fixed due to loosening is solved.
  • The above specific structure and size data is used to specifically illustrate a preferred embodiment of the invention, but the invention is not limited to the embodiments. Those skilled in the art can make various equivalent variations or replacements without departing from the present invention, and those equivalent variations or replacements shall all fall within the scope defined by the claims.
