Hierdurch kann einer Person, welche sich in einem Überwachungsbereich des Überwachungsgeräts befindet, auf einfache und/oder zuverlässige Weise eine Information darüber zur Verfügung gestellt werden, von welchem Benutzer und/oder mittels welchem Fernbediengerät eine Inbetriebnahme des Überwachungsgeräts initiiert wurde. Insbesondere kann einer Person in einem Überwachungsbereich so vorteilhaft eine Möglichkeit gegeben werden zu entscheiden, ob sie der initiierten Überwachung zustimmen oder das Überwachungsgerät deaktivieren will.
Ferner wird vorgeschlagen, dass bei einer Aktivierung des Überwachungsgeräts mittels des Fernbediengeräts ein dem Fernbediengerät und/oder einem Bediener des Fernbediengeräts eindeutig zugeordnetes akustisches Signal ausgegeben wird. Vorzugsweise wird die Aktivierung der Ausgabe des eindeutig zugeordneten akustischen Signals 20 durch eine Zertifizierung eindeutig dem Bediener 18 zugeordnet. Hierdurch kann eine Person in einem Überwachungsbereich des Überwachungsgeräts vorteilhaft zuverlässig über eine Aktivierung des Überwachungsgeräts informiert werden, auch wenn kein Sichtkontakt zum Überwachungsgerät besteht.
Zudem wird vorgeschlagen, dass bei einer Aktivierung des Überwachungsgeräts das auszugebene Signal von dem Fernbediengerät an die Ausgabeeinheit des Überwachungsgeräts übertragen wird. Insbesondere wird die Übertragung insbesondere durch ein Softwarezertifikat signiert und/oder verschlüsselt. Hierdurch kann eine vorteilhaft eindeutige Identifikation des das Überwachungsgerät aktivierenden Bedieners durch eine Person im Überwachungsbereich des Überwachungsgeräts ermöglicht werden.
