Definitions

  • the invention relates to a dishwashing brush that can be held and guided by the user's hand, ie a hand brush, and how it is used when rinsing kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, bowls to remove dirt adhering to such parts.
  • Dishwashing brushes which have a bristle stock of more or less rigid bristles, usually with a small bristle cross section of less than one square millimeter, which run parallel to one another or are also arranged in a V-shape to one another.
  • These usual bristles are usually arranged in bristle bundles, within which the distance between the bristles, at least in the attachment area on the base body, approaches zero, while the distance between the bristle bundles is usually in the order of magnitude of the diameter of such a bristle bundle, or even about it.
  • Either a handle protrudes from the brush head and serves as a handle for the user, or the brush head is held directly by the user on the part of the main body of the brush opposite the bristles, the rear side
  • Dishwashing brushes of the known design usually have only a single bristle area, which is primarily suitable for cleaning flat or slightly curved, in particular convexly curved, surfaces by the bristle end surface in which the bristle ends of the bristle facing lie, either a flat or a weak represent convexly curved bristle end surface.
  • the bristles in the usually only one existing bristle area have a uniform hardness, ie elasticity, of the bristles over the entire bristle area, so that this existing hardness of the bristles cannot be optimal on the one hand for the large-area quick removal of easily adhering deposits and on the other hand for the removal of very strongly adhering deposits, as they form in particular in strongly curved, concave surfaces.
  • the DE 102009042028 A1 represents the closest prior art according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the brush head attached to the front end of the brush handle has not just one, but two bristle areas, each of which has a base surface from which the bristles, at least in one bristle area, primarily point in the same direction, i.e. preferably substantially parallel to each other.
  • the individual bristle areas are each in the form of a separate bristle part which is attached to a base body of the brush head and comprises a bristle carrier body from which the bristles protrude.
  • the bristle parts can be dismantled as quickly and easily as possible, in particular without tools, from the base body of the brush head and can be mounted on one of each in order to be able to quickly replace a bristle part.
  • This base surface is either flat and thus defines a main extension plane, or it is curved, in which case the tangential plane on such a curved base surface then defines the main extension plane thereof.
  • the main extension plane of each of these two base surfaces runs at an acute handle angle to the extension direction of the handle, the handle direction, and the two bristle areas are—seen in the handle direction—arranged at different circumferential positions of the handle direction, preferably exactly opposite one another with respect to the handle direction.
  • the handle direction should be understood to mean that direction in which the front end of the handle adjacent to the brush head, ie the beginning, of the handle protrudes from the brush head.
  • the two bristle areas can be used alternately on the object to be cleaned, simply by rotating the handle around its handle direction, depending on the specific task at hand.
  • the bristle end area of the two bristle areas defined by the respective bristle ends of a bristle area is designed differently:
  • the first bristle area has a bristle end surface that is either flat or has only a slight convex or concave curvature, so that the deflection of this convex or concave curvature from the bristle end plane—which is defined analogously from the bristle end surface the main extension plane from the base area - has less than 20% of the greatest extent of the base area of this bristle area.
  • the other, second bristle area has a strongly convexly curved or even wound bristle end surface, the minimum deflection of which from its bristle end plane is at least 20% of the largest extension of the base area of this bristle area, better at least 40%, better at least 50%, better at least 60%, better at least 70% of the largest extent of this base area.
  • the first bristle area can be used very well for cleaning flat or slightly curved, in particular convexly curved, surfaces
  • the second bristle area can be used very well for cleaning strongly concave curved surfaces, since it has a large Contact surface between the bristles of this bristle area and causes this surface to be cleaned.
  • the kinked edge of this wound bristle end surface is skewed to the direction of the handle, in particular the connecting line between the direction of the handle and the kinked edge at the point of their smallest distance from one another, in particular both to the direction of the handle and/or to the kinked edge is at a right angle.
  • such a bristle section with an angled bristle end surface can very well be used for cleaning inside edges, for example the inside edge between the bottom and the side wall of a pot or bowl.
  • the bristles in the different bristle areas can have a different hardness, which, however, is preferably the same within the bristle area.
  • the bristles are in the bristle area with the strongly convex post surface harder than that of the other bristle area.
  • bristle parts As a result, differently shaped bristle parts, bristle parts with bristles of different stiffness, ie hard, or simply new, not yet worn, bristle parts can be attached to the main body of the brush head of the dishwashing brush as required. In addition, this considerably simplifies and reduces the cost of manufacture of the dishwashing brush.
  • the two main extension planes of the bristle areas assume an acute intermediate angle to one another, so that accessibility with the washing-up brush is easily possible both on sunken surfaces such as the bottom of a pot and on the inner edges between the sunken surface and the side wall rising from it.
  • the base surfaces of the two bristle areas preferably meet, in particular at their front end, or even merge into one another, and are therefore located in front of the front end of the brush handle or form this front end.
  • the base surfaces of the two bristle areas overlap in the longitudinal direction, the direction of the handle, specifically by at least 30%, better by 50%, better by 70%, better by at least 80%. As a result, both are approximately in the same length range and can be used in the same way by the handling user.
  • the stem angle of the first base surface is between 40° and 50°, better between 35° and 45°, better between 30° and 40°, better between 25° and 35°.
  • the handle angle of the second base surface with the strongly cranked or even angled bristle end surface is preferably between 30° and 40°, better between 25° and 35°, better between 20° and 30°, better between 15° and 25 °.
  • the intermediate angle between the two base surfaces resulting from these angular positions is preferably between 70° and 80°, better between 60° and 70°, better between 55° and 65°, better between 50° and 60°, better between 45° and 55 °, since this angular range has turned out to be optimal for handling in the brush as a dishwashing brush.
  • the bristles protrude from their respective base surface in a protrusion direction, which always runs in the same direction pointing away from the base surface, namely away from the main body, with the protrusion direction relative to the base surface usually being 90°, at least at least 60°, better at least 70, preferably at least 80°.
  • the handle has a non-round, in particular polygonal, preferably approximately triangular, cross-section, which makes twisting in the user's hand more difficult and the brush can be held better.
  • the handle is preferably formed in one piece together with the base body, in particular as an injection molded part, but it can also be two separate parts that can be plugged together and in particular locked against each other, preferably in different rotational positions around the direction of the handle, with a corresponding rotation angle difference the number of corners of the polygon.
  • a handle that is not straight, in particular slightly curved, can be mounted so that it protrudes into different rotational positions, depending on the current need for the application.
  • the stem is straight.
  • the brush handle is preferably tubular, ie hollow, over a large part of its length, in that it has at least one recess extending from the rear free end, the end pointing away from the brush head, into the interior of the brush handle.
  • This recess or the hollow brush handle as a whole can be used so that the brush has a scraper which comprises a scraper handle and a scraper head attached thereto, with at least the scraper handle and preferably also the scraper head fitting into the hollow brush handle.
  • the scraper head can be designed in such a way that it can in particular close the free end of the brush handle as a plug, or it can also be inserted into the brush handle so that the other end of the scraper handle, facing away from the scraper head, has a design such that it Closing the opening of the brush handle as a plug and/or can lock in relation to it.
  • the scraper head preferably has a—straight or also slightly curved—scraper edge and/or scraper projections, in particular on the scraper edge and/or also apart from it.

  • FIG. 5a can also be seen that in this embodiment there is a third bristle area 5c which is located at the front end of the brush head 4 and in which bristles 6 are arranged which protrude in a different direction than the bristles 6 in the bristle areas 5b and 5a, namely in an intermediate direction, which in particular occupies an acute angle with respect to the stem direction 2' and deviates from this stem direction 2' by less than 20°.

Description

I. AnwendungsgebietI. Field of application

The invention relates to a dishwashing brush that can be held and guided by the user's hand, ie a hand brush, and how it is used when rinsing kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, bowls to remove dirt adhering to such parts.

II. Technischer HintergrundII. Technical background

Von dem Bürstenkopf ragt entweder ein Stiel ab, der als Handgriff für den Benutzer dient oder der Bürstenkopf wird an dem den Borsten gegenüberliegenden Teil des Grundkörpers der Bürste, der Rückseite, direkt vom Benutzer gehaltenDishwashing brushes are known which have a bristle stock of more or less rigid bristles, usually with a small bristle cross section of less than one square millimeter, which run parallel to one another or are also arranged in a V-shape to one another. These usual bristles are usually arranged in bristle bundles, within which the distance between the bristles, at least in the attachment area on the base body, approaches zero, while the distance between the bristle bundles is usually in the order of magnitude of the diameter of such a bristle bundle, or even about it. Either a handle protrudes from the brush head and serves as a handle for the user, or the brush head is held directly by the user on the part of the main body of the brush opposite the bristles, the rear side

The tasks to be completed with such a dishwashing brush can be roughly divided into two subtasks:
  • Cleaning a more or less flat, slightly curved, but possibly recessed surface - such as the bottom surface of a pan - from dirt adhering to it and
  • Cleaning a strongly concave curved area, such as the transition from the bottom to the wall surface of a bowl, from deposits that usually adhere particularly strongly.

Beispiel:
Example:
Dishwashing brushes of the known design usually have only a single bristle area, which is primarily suitable for cleaning flat or slightly curved, in particular convexly curved, surfaces by the bristle end surface in which the bristle ends of the bristle facing lie, either a flat or a weak represent convexly curved bristle end surface.

Only the outer edge of such a bristle area can be used to remove deposits in sharply curved concave areas, so that there is only a small contact surface between the bristles and the deposits in the sharply curved concave surface, and the removal of the deposits is therefore very time-consuming.

In addition, in the known dishwashing brushes, the bristles in the usually only one existing bristle area have a uniform hardness, ie elasticity, of the bristles over the entire bristle area, so that this existing hardness of the bristles cannot be optimal on the one hand for the large-area quick removal of easily adhering deposits and on the other hand for the removal of very strongly adhering deposits, as they form in particular in strongly curved, concave surfaces.

In this context, the DE 102009042028 A1 represents the closest prior art according to the preamble of claim 1.

III. Darstellung der ErfindungIII. Presentation of the invention a) Technische Aufgabea) Technical task

It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a dishwashing brush which avoids the disadvantages described and is nevertheless simple and inexpensive to produce.

b) Lösung der Aufgabeb) Solution of the task

This object is solved by the features of claims 1. Advantageous embodiments result from the dependent claims.

With regard to the brush, this object is achieved in that the brush head attached to the front end of the brush handle has not just one, but two bristle areas, each of which has a base surface from which the bristles, at least in one bristle area, primarily point in the same direction, i.e. preferably substantially parallel to each other.

The individual bristle areas are each in the form of a separate bristle part which is attached to a base body of the brush head and comprises a bristle carrier body from which the bristles protrude.

The bristle parts can be dismantled as quickly and easily as possible, in particular without tools, from the base body of the brush head and can be mounted on one of each in order to be able to quickly replace a bristle part.

This base surface is either flat and thus defines a main extension plane, or it is curved, in which case the tangential plane on such a curved base surface then defines the main extension plane thereof.

The main extension plane of each of these two base surfaces runs at an acute handle angle to the extension direction of the handle, the handle direction, and the two bristle areas are—seen in the handle direction—arranged at different circumferential positions of the handle direction, preferably exactly opposite one another with respect to the handle direction.

If the handle is not straight, the handle direction should be understood to mean that direction in which the front end of the handle adjacent to the brush head, ie the beginning, of the handle protrudes from the brush head.

As a result, the two bristle areas can be used alternately on the object to be cleaned, simply by rotating the handle around its handle direction, depending on the specific task at hand.

The bristle end area of the two bristle areas defined by the respective bristle ends of a bristle area is designed differently:
The first bristle area has a bristle end surface that is either flat or has only a slight convex or concave curvature, so that the deflection of this convex or concave curvature from the bristle end plane—which is defined analogously from the bristle end surface the main extension plane from the base area - has less than 20% of the greatest extent of the base area of this bristle area.

The other, second bristle area, on the other hand, has a strongly convexly curved or even wound bristle end surface, the minimum deflection of which from its bristle end plane is at least 20% of the largest extension of the base area of this bristle area, better at least 40%, better at least 50%, better at least 60%, better at least 70% of the largest extent of this base area.

In this way, the first bristle area can be used very well for cleaning flat or slightly curved, in particular convexly curved, surfaces, while the second bristle area can be used very well for cleaning strongly concave curved surfaces, since it has a large Contact surface between the bristles of this bristle area and causes this surface to be cleaned. In the case of an angled bristle end surface of this second bristle area, the kinked edge of this wound bristle end surface is skewed to the direction of the handle, in particular the connecting line between the direction of the handle and the kinked edge at the point of their smallest distance from one another, in particular both to the direction of the handle and/or to the kinked edge is at a right angle.

Because of this and in connection with the angling of the base surface, such a bristle section with an angled bristle end surface can very well be used for cleaning inside edges, for example the inside edge between the bottom and the side wall of a pot or bowl.

In addition, the bristles in the different bristle areas can have a different hardness, which, however, is preferably the same within the bristle area. Preferably the bristles are in the bristle area with the strongly convex post surface harder than that of the other bristle area.

As a result, differently shaped bristle parts, bristle parts with bristles of different stiffness, ie hard, or simply new, not yet worn, bristle parts can be attached to the main body of the brush head of the dishwashing brush as required. In addition, this considerably simplifies and reduces the cost of manufacture of the dishwashing brush.

The two main extension planes of the bristle areas assume an acute intermediate angle to one another, so that accessibility with the washing-up brush is easily possible both on sunken surfaces such as the bottom of a pot and on the inner edges between the sunken surface and the side wall rising from it.

The base surfaces of the two bristle areas preferably meet, in particular at their front end, or even merge into one another, and are therefore located in front of the front end of the brush handle or form this front end.

As a result, no other parts of the brush protrude forward beyond the bristle areas, which would impede their use on a surface to be cleaned.

The base surfaces of the two bristle areas overlap in the longitudinal direction, the direction of the handle, specifically by at least 30%, better by 50%, better by 70%, better by at least 80%. As a result, both are approximately in the same length range and can be used in the same way by the handling user.

For optimal handling, the stem angle of the first base surface is between 40° and 50°, better between 35° and 45°, better between 30° and 40°, better between 25° and 35°. For the same reason, the handle angle of the second base surface with the strongly cranked or even angled bristle end surface is preferably between 30° and 40°, better between 25° and 35°, better between 20° and 30°, better between 15° and 25 °.

The intermediate angle between the two base surfaces resulting from these angular positions is preferably between 70° and 80°, better between 60° and 70°, better between 55° and 65°, better between 50° and 60°, better between 45° and 55 °, since this angular range has turned out to be optimal for handling in the brush as a dishwashing brush.

The bristles protrude from their respective base surface in a protrusion direction, which always runs in the same direction pointing away from the base surface, namely away from the main body, with the protrusion direction relative to the base surface usually being 90°, at least at least 60°, better at least 70, preferably at least 80°.

The handle has a non-round, in particular polygonal, preferably approximately triangular, cross-section, which makes twisting in the user's hand more difficult and the brush can be held better.

The handle is preferably formed in one piece together with the base body, in particular as an injection molded part, but it can also be two separate parts that can be plugged together and in particular locked against each other, preferably in different rotational positions around the direction of the handle, with a corresponding rotation angle difference the number of corners of the polygon.

As a result, a handle that is not straight, in particular slightly curved, can be mounted so that it protrudes into different rotational positions, depending on the current need for the application. Preferably, however, the stem is straight. The brush handle is preferably tubular, ie hollow, over a large part of its length, in that it has at least one recess extending from the rear free end, the end pointing away from the brush head, into the interior of the brush handle.

This recess or the hollow brush handle as a whole can be used so that the brush has a scraper which comprises a scraper handle and a scraper head attached thereto, with at least the scraper handle and preferably also the scraper head fitting into the hollow brush handle.

The scraper head can be designed in such a way that it can in particular close the free end of the brush handle as a plug, or it can also be inserted into the brush handle so that the other end of the scraper handle, facing away from the scraper head, has a design such that it Closing the opening of the brush handle as a plug and/or can lock in relation to it.

The scraper head preferably has a—straight or also slightly curved—scraper edge and/or scraper projections, in particular on the scraper edge and/or also apart from it.

Both the scraper edge and the scraper projections serve to scrape off stubborn deposits on a surface to be cleaned with the help of the scraper—preferably very rigid and hard.

The alternative of attaching such a scraper head directly and firmly to the rear end of the brush handle has not proven to be useful in practice, since the bristle handle would have to be turned over and liquid would drip down from the wet bristle areas at the rear.

On one of the two contact surfaces facing each other when the bristle part is installed, on the one hand of the bristle part, in particular its Bristle carrying body and/or the base body there is a seal running around the contact surface and/or in the outer edge of the contact surface which seals these two parts against each other when the bristle part is in the fixed, i.e. mounted, state on the base body to prevent penetration to avoid dirt in between.

It has been shown that for such a dishwashing brush, the bristles should preferably have a relatively high flexural strength perpendicular to the direction in which the bristles extend, preferably a hardness between 60 shore and 90 shore, better between 65 shore and 80 shore. For example, bristles made of a rubber-like material, in particular synthetic rubber or natural rubber, are particularly well suited.

Such rubber-like bristles can be produced in one piece together with the bristle-carrying body, for example by injection molding.

As a rule, the bristle carrying body is harder than the bristles and is, for example, so dimensionally stable that it can be attached to the base body by means of the bayonet catch mentioned.

Alternativ kann der Borsten-Tragkörper jedoch so elastisch ausgebildet sein, und insbesondere die gleiche Härte wie die Borsten aufweisen, dass er am Grundkörper mittels seiner Eigenelastizität gehalten ist, indem er dessen Kontaktfläche überspannt und randseitig umgreift, also untergreift,Alternatively, however, the bristle-carrying body can be designed so elastically, and in particular have the same hardness as the bristles, that it is held on the base body by means of its own elasticity by spanning its contact surface and encompassing the edges, i.e. gripping under it.

Since such a dishwashing brush can be used to brush in all directions, the bristles should preferably have a cross-section that is tailored to this in order to optimize the cleaning result:
For the purposes of the present application, the cross section of a bristle should also include a set of bristles with individual bristles with a cross section of less than 1 millimeter and a mostly round cross section be understood, which has covering areas which correspond to the described cross-sectional shape of a single, thicker bristle with an indentation in the cross-section.

The cross-section of the bristles should have at least one, preferably 3 or more, indentations distributed over the circumference, at least in the free end area of the bristles, with the intermediate angle between the flanks of the indentation - regardless of whether the contour is rounded or angled - preferably greater than 40° ° should preferably be 50° , in particular even greater than 70°, better greater than 90°, but preferably not greater than 100°.

If you brush in such a direction that this indentation points in the current brushing direction, the particles to be swept up collect in this indentation.

Preferably, the bristles have a star-shaped cross-section with a plurality of arms projecting from a center of the cross-section, and preferably the cross-section is X-shaped in that four arms project from a center evenly distributed circumferentially from a center of the cross-section.

The bristle ends have an end surface which preferably runs parallel, preferably identically, to the bristle end surface, ie does not necessarily run at right angles to the direction in which the bristles extend.

With regard to a modular system - which is not the subject of this invention - for producing such a brush, at least one type of base body can be present, and at least one type of first and second bristle carrier, as described above, and optionally of each of these first and second designs with different variants Elasticity, ie hardness of the material of the bristles, in particular the bristle carrier body, are present.

In this way, worn bristle areas on the base body, in particular bristle carrier bodies, can be replaced or exchanged for bristle areas with a different bristle hardness.

There can also be several types of base bodies in the kit, for example base bodies in which the stem angles are different and/or the base surfaces are arranged at different points on the base body.

Preferably, the kit also includes at least one design of a brush handle, which has a coupling element, preferably a latching element, on its front end facing the base body, and the base body has a matching coupling element, preferably latching element, on its rear end. As a result, the brush handle can be removed from the base body and thus the brush head and, in particular, possibly also attached to the brush head, in particular the base body, in different rotational positions around the direction of the handle.

One design of a brush handle can be a design that is closed at the rear end, and another design can be designed with a recess at the rear end for inserting a scraper.

Preferably, the kit also includes at least one type of scraper in order to additionally equip the brush with such a scraper.

Alternatively, the base body and the brush handle can also be designed in one piece with one another.

Die Figuren 1a , b, c zeigen die Spülbürste im gebrauchsfertigen Zustand.the Figures 1a , b, c show the dishwashing brush ready for use.

It can be seen that the dishwashing brush consists of a brush head 1, which is shown in the side view of FIG Figure 1a viewed, has a base body 4 with an approximately triangular cross section, in which a bristle area 5a, b is arranged on two of the three sides of the triangle of the cross section, i.e. two outer sides 4a, b, in which the bristles 6 point away essentially perpendicularly from the base body 4 protrude.

In this case, the bristle areas 5a, b are designed as bristle parts 5a, b that can be removed from the base body 4 and thus replaced figures 3a , b, c and 4a, b, respectively are shown separately.

In the direction of the handle 2', here the direction in which the straight handle extends, the two bristle areas 5a,b are approximately at the same longitudinal position and arranged opposite one another, so that their longitudinal extensions overlap, in this case by more than 50%, preferably by more than 70%, overlap.

From the third triangular area of the triangular cross section of the base body 4 protrudes a handle 2, which in this case is a straight handle and which serves as a handle 3.

As best in Figure 1b As can be seen, the stem 2 is hollow for reasons of weight and production alone and has a cross-sectional shape that is approximately triangular with rounded corners and preferably convex outer surfaces. The non-round, triangular shape prevents the handle from turning in the operator's hand.

At the rear end, shown here above, facing away from the brush head 1, the handle 2 preferably has a hanging option, here in the form of a hanging loop 21, which is arranged as an opening in one of the three peripheral walls that form the cross section of the hollow handle 1, wherein this peripheral wall protrudes beyond the rear end of the other two peripheral walls.

Die Figuren 2a , b, c zeigen die Spülbürste ohne die aufgesetzten Borstenteile 5a, b in den gleichen Ansichten wie die Figuren 1a , b, c. the figures 2a , b, c show the dishwashing brush without the attached bristle parts 5a, b in the same views as FIG Figures 1a ,b,c.

As the figures 3a , b, c and 4a, b can be seen, the individual bristle parts 5a, b each consist of a base plate 19.1, 19.2, on which one Side, the front surface 19a, the bristles 6 are arranged and protrude from this serving as a base surface 7a, 7b for the bristles 6 front surface 19a, while on its rear side 19b a circumferential seal is arranged at or near its outer contour and protruding over the rear side 19b is made of softer material than the base plate 19.1, 19.2.

Within the circumferential seal 17, locking pins 22a, b protrude from the rear side 19b, which are mushroom-shaped, ie have a head at the free end which is wider than its shaft and which in this case is cylindrical. The widened head is spaced far enough from the rear 19b that its underside facing the rear 19b is spaced even further from this than the seal 17 present on the rear 19b protrudes beyond this rear 19b.

With the help of these locking pins 22, each of the bristle parts 5a, b can be attached to one of the outer surfaces 4a, b of the base body 4 in the manner of a bayonet lock, in that the keyhole-shaped locking recesses 23 required for this are arranged there 4a, b with the same spacing and dimensioning . In the broadened part of the locking recesses 23, the respective locking pin 22a, b can be inserted with its head first.

After turning the respective bristle part 5a, b in the direction of the narrower part of the keyhole-shaped locking recess 23a, b, the locking pin 22 a, b is positively secured in the locking recesses 23 in five of the six spatial directions, and is non-positively secured in the remaining sixth spatial direction is secured due to the preload by the seal 17.

The base body 4 is a hollow body, so that the widened heads of the locking pins 22a and 22b - like a bayonet lock usual - on the back of the outer sides 4a, b forming the wall of the base body 4 on both sides of the narrower extension of the locking recesses 23a and 23b can support.

23b.For this purpose, the narrower extension extending from the wide part of the keyhole-shaped recess 23 is curved in an arc with a radius of curvature corresponding to its distance from the center point between the two locking recesses 23a and 23b arranged on an outer surface of the base body 4.

The length of the shaft of the locking pin 22a between the rear 19b of the base plate 19 and the underside of the widened head is dimensioned such that it corresponds to the thickness of the outer wall of the base body 4 in the area of the locking recesses 23a or 23b plus the thickness of the seal 17 - viewed in the plane of the back 19b of the base plate 19 - when this is in a compressed state between the outside of the base body 4 and the back 19b of the base plate 19.

The seal 17 then also applies the appropriate preload so that the underside of the thickened head of the locking pin 22a or 22b is pressed against the rear side of the outer wall of the base body 4 with such a high preload that unintentional twisting of the brush part 5a,b against the base body 4 and disengagement of the bayonet lock is avoided.

As a rule, the individual parts of the dishwashing brush are manufactured as injection molded parts. In this case, the base body 4 normally forms a one-piece part together with the handle, but these can also be manufactured separately are connected to the base body 4 for the brush head 1 on the one hand and the handle 2 that can be attached and/or locked to it on the other hand. In any case, these parts are made of a hard, non-elastic plastic.

With regard to the base plate 19 and the locking pins 22a and 22b, the bristle parts 5a,b consist of a hard plastic, onto which the seal 17 on the one hand and the bristles 6 on the other hand are injection molded in a second injection molding step from softer, elastic plastic, the bristles being mainly the two differently shaped bristle parts 5a, b can in turn have different hardness.

The bristles of the bristle part 5a are preferably harder and less flexible than the bristles 6 of the bristle part 5b, which has the angled bristle end surface.

The two bristle parts 5a, b are designed differently:
As Figure 1a shows, owns the in Figure 1a The bristle part 5a shown on the left is a design of the bristle area in which the free ends of the bristles form a bristle end surface 10a which is approximately one plane, ie the bristle end plane 10'a.

As per the supervision Figure 1c and better Figure 3b to recognize, the bristles strive from the plane of the base plate 19, with which they are connected, not all at right angles, but only in the middle area viewed in plan, and are from this perpendicular 24 to the base plate 19 level with increasing Distance more and more tilted outwards.

As well as best Figure 3b can be seen, the base plate 19 has in this case a polygonal peripheral contour, here in the form of a dodecagon, but it could also be a round peripheral contour. Like enlarging the Figure 2c1 shows the top view of the corresponding outer surface 4a of the base body 4, this has the same outer contour and the same size, so that the base plate 19a sits flush on the outer surface 4a of the base body in the assembled state, spaced apart from one another by the circumferential seal that is held under pretension 17 in between.

Figure 3c shows an enlarged side view of the brush part 5a compared to the illustration in FIG Figure 1a that alternatively - shown in dashed lines - the bristle end surface 10a would not have to form a bristle end level 10'a, as also in FIG Figure 1a shown, but could also form a concavely curved bristle end surface 10a, for example in the shape of a segment of a sphere.

Such a bristle-end surface 10a then has a deflection 11a from the bristle-end plane 10'a--which is defined by the plane tangentially applied to the bristle-end surface 10a, but running through the bristles 6 ending closest to the base plate 19.1--a deflection 11a, which should preferably have a specific relation to the greatest extent 12a of the base surface 7a--from which the bristles 6 radiate--of the bristle part 5a, in particular the base plate 19.1.

The other, in Figure 1a shown on the right , bristle part 5b has in this enlarged side view of Figure 4b and 5a an angled bristle end surface 10b, as best seen in the enlargement of FIG Figure 4b recognizable.

The bristle end surface 10b thus consists of two partial bristle end surfaces 10b1, 10b2, which are preferably each flat and then meet in a straight fold edge 20.

If, on the other hand, the partial surfaces 10b1, 10b2 of the bristle end are curved, preferably curved convexly, the fold edge 20 is in between also a fold edge 20 curved outwards, viewed from the brush part 5b.

The deflection 11b, i.e. the distance of this buckling edge 20, from the base surface 7b, in particular its base plane 7'b, should also be in a certain relation to the greatest extension 12b of the base surface 7b, which as in Figure 4a the greater extent of the rectangular base area 7b on which the bristles 6 are arranged is evident.

Like the top view of the back 19b of the base plate 19.2 of this bristle part 5b in Figure 4a shows, the base plate 19.2 is designed approximately rectangular with two beveled corners, which - as best seen in the corresponding supervision in Figure 1b can be seen - is located in the mounted state at the free front end of the base body 4 of the dishwashing brush, so that in this area the base plates 19.1, 19.2 ending at the same longitudinal position of the dishwashing brush also end in approximately the same front contour when viewed from above.

Here, too, an approximately rectangular seal 17 runs along the outer circumference of the base plate 19.2 and is only slightly set back from it.

The locking pins 22b are designed analogously to the locking pins 22a of the bristle part 5a, and also serve the same purpose; the same applies to the function and cross-section of the seal 17.

As the Figures 5a , b show, the rear end of the stem 2, which is usually open, can also be closed and thus additional purposes can be pursued:
As in Figure 5a shown, the rear open end can be closed either by plugging in a suitable closure cap 25, simply to prevent dirt from entering the hollow brush handle 2.

At the rear end, however, a scraper 14 can also be attached instead, preferably in which it consists of a scraper head 14a and a scraper handle 14b extending therefrom, the latter being dimensioned so that it extends from the rear open end into the Brush handle 2 can be inserted and preferably locked therein, whereby the scraper 14 is fixed in the brush handle 2 in a very stable manner, but can nevertheless be removed in a simple manner.

The scraper head 14a then protrudes beyond the rear end of the brush handle 2 and also has a larger cross section:
The scraper head 14a has a scraper base surface 15, which runs obliquely to the handle direction 2' of the brush handle 2 and thus also of the scraper handle 14b and generally has a larger area than the cross-sectional area of the brush handle 2.

Scraper projections 16, which consist of a relatively hard plastic, protrude from this scraper base surface 15. The user can thus scrape off stubbornly adhering dirt on the object to be cleaned either with these scraper projections 16 or with the scraper edge 15a, the edge running around the base surface 15 of the scraper.

As above all the view of figures 5b and 5c show, the scraper projections 16 can be designed differently:
In the present example, there are several linear scraper projections 16 on the base surface 15 of the scraper, which are visible on the base surface 15 in the top view preferably have a curved contour arranged. At least along part of the peripheral edge area, scraper projections 16 are arranged at certain points, that is to say they are round in plan view, for example cylindrical, and are spaced apart from one another.

These rather punctiform scraper projections 16 are preferably arranged along the peripheral area that is furthest away from the brush head 1 in the direction of the handle 2'.

Again Figure 5a can also be seen that in this embodiment there is a third bristle area 5c which is located at the front end of the brush head 4 and in which bristles 6 are arranged which protrude in a different direction than the bristles 6 in the bristle areas 5b and 5a, namely in an intermediate direction, which in particular occupies an acute angle with respect to the stem direction 2' and deviates from this stem direction 2' by less than 20°.

In this case, this third bristle area 5c is arranged on the base plate 19.2 of the second bristle part 5b, in particular on its front narrow side.
