Die Bürsteinrichtung umfasst ein Bündel von Faserstäben 1, das in einem Halter 9 verankert ist. Die Faserstäbe 1 sind dabei von einer Schutzhülse 2 umschlossen, wobei ihre freien Enden um einen Betrag aus der Schutzhülse 2 herausragen. Der Halter 9 ist mit einer Welle 12 verbunden, die ihrerseits von einem Führungsrohr 4 umgeben ist. Am den Faserstäben entgegengesetzten Ende ist die Bürsteinrichtung mit einer Standard-Werkzeugaufnahme 10 vom Typ HSK (Hohlschaftkegel) verbunden. Zur Übertragung des Drehmoments von der Werkzeugaufnahme 10 auf den Halter 9 mit den Faserstäben 1 sind Stifte 14 vorhanden, die bei einer axialen Belastung der Faserstäbe 1 deren Nachgeben entgegen der Kraft von Federn 13 gestatten. An dem von den freiliegenden Enden der Faserstäbe 1 abgewandten Ende ist die Schutzhülse 2 mit einem Gehäuse 8 verbunden, in dem ein Klemmkonus 3 aufgenommen ist, der entgegen der Kraft von Federn 11 axial verstellbar ist und die Schutzhülse 2 mit dem Führungsrohr 4 kraftschlüssig verbindet. Der Klemmkonus 3 ist dabei vorteilhaft in beispielsweise vier Segmente unterteilt, die um das Führungsrohr 4 herum angeordnet sind.The Bürsteinrichtung comprises a bundle of
Zum Bearbeiten einer Oberfläche eines Werkstücks, beispielsweise einer Turbinenschaufel, wird die Bürsteinrichtung in einer Werkzeugachse einer Werkzeugmaschine eingespannt und um ihre Längsachse 15 rotiert. Beim Kontakt mit dem Werkstück unterliegen die Faserstäbe 1 einer Abnützung, die von Zeit zu Zeit kompensiert wird, indem das Mass, um das die Faserstäbe 1 die Schutzhülse überragen, bis zu einem gewünschten Betrag erhöht wird. Zu diesem Zweck wird die Werkzeugachse mit der Bürsteinrichtung zu einem feststehenden Gegenlager 7 gefahren und in Richtung der Längsachse vorgeschoben, bis an der Bürsteinrichtung vorhandene Druckbolzen 5 an einer Anlagefläche 6 des Gegenlagers zur Anlage kommen. Der mit den Druckbolzen 5 im Kontakt stehende Klemmkonus 3 wird somit daran gehindert, der Axialbewegung der Werkzeugachse weiter zu folgen. Beim weiteren Vorschieben der Werkzeugachse folgt das Gehäuse 8 mitsamt der Schutzhülse 2 dieser Bewegung noch um einen kleinen Betrag, wobei sich das Gehäuse 8 relativ zum Klemmkonus 3 verschiebt, dadurch dessen Klemmkraft reduziert und so die kraftschlüssige Verbindung zwischen dem Führungsrohr 4 und dem Gehäuse 8 mit der daran angeordneten Schutzhülse 2 löst.
