Definitions

  • the present technique relates to the field of electrical wiring. More specifically, the present technique relates to the field of electric charging by cable. The present technique relates even more particularly to the electric charging of an electronic payment device comprising two connectors.
  • Such electronic payment devices associating back-to-back a payment terminal with a communication terminal, in particular a mobile phone or a smart communication terminal ("smartphone" in English).
  • Such electronic payment devices are particularly used in the case of itinerant trade or in-store organized trade.
  • a merchant accompanying a customer within a point of sale with such an electronic payment device in hand, can validate the products (or services) chosen by the customer through an application hosted on the communication terminal. .
  • the merchant When the customer wishes to finalize his purchases the merchant then presents him immediately the payment terminal, backed by the communication terminal, to make the payment.
  • Such electronic payment devices generally implement a conventional payment terminal, on the back of which is fixed a housing forming a case into which the communication terminal is inserted.
  • a device comprises a smart card reader, comprising a housing adapted to receiving and maintaining a portable communication terminal and comprising means of connection with this portable communication terminal, and data processing means able to receive information relating to a payment and to exchange data with a remote server, via a communication telephone implemented by said portable communication terminal.
  • Such a device comprises an insertion housing of the communication terminal. This insertion housing comprises a hatch, which allows to insert and remove the communication terminal by translation.
  • the lower part of the communication terminal (the one that includes a female connector, for example a micro USB connector or any other connector of this type) is inserted into the slot and then pushing the upper part of the communication terminal, the latter is completely inserted in the housing provided for this purpose.
  • the hatch is then closed.
  • the female connector of the communication terminal is plugged into a corresponding maie connector.
  • This electronic connection card is used to connect the communication terminal and the payment terminal to each other. This is a physical connection and the card is inside the case.
  • these connectors allow the entire device to be connected to an electric charging cable (for example a USB cable), connected to an electrical source (for example a computer), in order to recharge both the payment terminal and the communication terminal. as described in the application FR2968433 .
  • a major disadvantage of these mobile electronic payment devices is that they are not very evolutive: when a new type of communication terminal appears, they are no longer compatible with this new type of communication terminal placed on the market after the launch. on the market for these electronic payment devices.
  • most of these new communication terminals are today equipped with a reload connector more or less standardized, with a reduced number of pins.
  • the device has two connectors: a connector for the payment terminal and a connector for the communication terminal.
  • the new payment device (formed by the payment terminal and the new housing) comprises at its end two orifices intended to receive, on the one hand, a reloading plug of the communication terminal and, on the other hand, a recharging card the payment terminal.
  • US20110065314 discloses a device for joining charging cables according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the present technique provides an ergonomic and simple way of overcoming the disadvantages of the solutions of the prior art.
  • the proposed technique relates to a device for joining electric charging cables to an electronic device, such an electronic device comprising two connectors, each connector being connectable to a recharging card.
  • Such a device for securing cables allows the simultaneous insertion of two plugs in the two connectors of the electronic device. It facilitates and speeds up handling, especially in the case of close connectors. Indeed, without the aid of the device, the cables should be connected one by one to the electronic device, the second cable being all the more difficult to insert because of the proximity of the connectors.
  • the arrangement of the device in two portions makes it possible in particular to facilitate the introduction of a cable into the insertion housing of the second portion. Moreover, such a cable can be modified according to the needs, so as to correspond to the corresponding connector of the electronic device.
  • the securing means comprise a tee groove formed on the upper surface of the first portion, and a tongue formed on the lower surface of the second portion.
  • the first portion comprises first abutment means with the second portion
  • the second portion comprises second abutment means with the first portion
  • the first and the second portion abut one against the other, allowing the positioning of the second portion relative to the first portion, that is to say the alignment of the proximal edge (the closer to the refill sheet) of the first portion with the proximal edge of the second portion. This ensures that the two recharging cards are correctly positioned when they are simultaneously inserted into the connectors of the electronic device.
  • the insertion housing of a cable is formed passing between a distal edge and a proximal edge of the second portion.
  • the cable is thus inserted through the second portion, in the direction of its length, so that the charging plug of the cable is presented in a position adapted to the corresponding connector of the electronic device.
  • the insertion housing of a cable comprises a first recess adapted to guide the cable and a second recess adapted to receive a cable head.
  • the cable and the cable head are held firmly nested in the recesses, which allows appropriate positioning in height and depth of the plug relative to the connector of the payment device.
  • the first recess and the second recess are coaxial.
  • the cable and the cable head are thus aligned one after the other rectilinearly.
  • the tongue has a slot along its length, opening on the first recess and the second obviously.
  • This open slot allows the cable to be inserted into the housing formed in the second portion.
  • the device for joining electric charging cables is made of a flexible material.
  • the flexibility of the material allows in particular to facilitate the passage of the cable in the second portion, in that the open slot can be widened sufficiently to receive the diameter of the cable. Furthermore, this expansion of the slot forces the sides of the tongue to rise outwards, allowing the two portions to be held tight against each other during the insertion of the tongue of the second portion into the groove of the first portion.
  • the first portion comprises a first recharging card adapted to connect to the first connector.
  • the first portion comprises an integrated cable provided with a USB plug.
  • the reloading of the electronic device can be done simply by computer, by connecting the USB plug to a USB port of a computer.
  • the general principle of the present technique is to facilitate the electric recharging of an electronic device, comprising two connectors each connectable to a recharging card, by means of a connection device for charging cables. More specifically, this fastening is performed near the connection plugs (the plugs that fit into the female connectors).
  • a connection plugs the plugs that fit into the female connectors.
  • Such a device makes it possible on the one hand to ensure an optimal connection of the two plugs of the two cables in the corresponding female connectors. Such a device also ensures that the cables do not intermingle with each other.
  • Such a device makes it possible to insert the two plugs of the two cables simultaneously.
  • Such a connector ensures that when one of the two plugs is correctly inserted, the other is also correctly inserted.
  • the first portion may also be provided with a cable insertion housing to receive a charging cable adapted to the second connector.
  • the first portion and the second portion are secured by means of securing means, family of clips, screws, male and female parts systems, etc.
  • the arrangement of the two portions is adapted to the arrangement of the connectors of the electronic device, the first portion thus facing the first connector, the second portion facing the second connector.
  • the device allows a simultaneous and facilitated connection to these two connectors.
  • the Figures 1 and 2 have a device (1) for connecting electric charging cables to an electronic device (2), in particular an electronic payment device associating back-to-back a payment terminal (21) and a communication terminal (22) .
  • Such an electronic payment device as shown partially on the figure 1 Comprises two connectors (211, 221), a first connector (211) being associated with the payment terminal (21), a second connector (221) being associated with the communication terminal (22).
  • the payment terminal (21) and the communication terminal (22) can respectively be recharged by connecting these connectors (211, 221) with recharging cards.
  • the proposed technique makes it possible to overcome this drawback by proposing a device (1) for securing cables comprising two portions. complementary (3, 4) assembling to secure the cables and their corresponding reloading plugs and facilitate their connection with the two connectors (211, 221).
  • a first cable (5) provided with a first plug (51) for recharging is integrated with the first portion (3).
  • the first portion (3) may be provided with a cable insertion housing for receiving different types of cables for different types of electronic device connectors. In such an embodiment, the first portion (3) then resembles the second portion (4).
  • a first portion (3) has a "tee” groove (31) on a portion of the length of its upper surface, this groove (31) for slidingly guiding a tongue (41) of complementary shape formed on the lower surface a second portion (4).
  • the first portion (3) substantially forms a pad of length 25mm, width 15mm, and height 8mm in the embodiment described.
  • the groove (31) extends about 15mm along the length of the first portion (3), as illustrated by the set of views of the figure 4 .
  • This groove (21) takes a shape of "tee", extending about 12mm over the width of the first portion (3).
  • the second portion (4) also substantially forms a pad of length 20mm, width 15mm and height 8mm as illustrated by the set of views of the figure 5 .
  • the tongue (41), shaped "tee” complementary to the shape of the groove (31) extends about 15mm along the length of the second portion (4) and 12mm over the width of this second portion (4) .
  • the first portion (3) comprises means for abutment against the second portion (4)
  • the second portion (4) comprises means for setting stop against the first portion (3).
  • the groove (31) is non-emergent formed on the proximal edge (32) of the first portion (3), thereby forming a first shoulder (34).
  • proximal edges the edges of the nearest portions of the reloading cards.
  • distal edges the edges of the portions opposite to the proximal edges, that is to say the farthest from the recharging cards.
  • the tongue (41) is non-emergent formed on the distal edge (43) of the second portion (4), thus forming a second shoulder (44).
  • the two shoulders (34, 44) make it possible to position the two portions (3, 4) relative to one another at the end of the sliding guide of the tongue (41) of the second portion. (4) in the groove (31) of the first portion (3).
  • the proximal end of the tongue (41) abuts against the first shoulder (34), while at the same time, the distal end of the groove (31) abuts against the second shoulder (44).
  • This double stop (34, 44) allows a precise positioning of the first portion (3) of and the second portion (4) relative to each other: that is to say that the proximal edge (32 ) of the first portion (3) is aligned with the proximal edge (42) of the second portion (4), as shown in FIG. figure 2 .
  • This alignment ensures that the connection of the two portions to the two connectors (211, 221) of the electronic payment device is simultaneous and functional.
  • the second portion (4) of the device (1) is provided with a housing (45) for insertion of a cable (6), as shown in the views of the figures 2 and 3 .
  • This housing (45) crosses the second portion (4) along its length from its distal edge (43) to its proximal edge (42).
  • This housing (45) is formed of two adjacent and coaxial recesses (451, 452), a first recess (451) administratnant and guiding the cable (6) inserted, a second recess (452) warmthnant the head (61) of the cable .
  • This cable head (61) includes a plug reloading (62) wrapped in a protective sheath formed of the same material as the cable sheath (6).
  • the dimensions of the recesses are adapted respectively to the diameter of the cable (6) and to the dimensions of the cable head (61), so that the latter are nested in the housing (45).
  • the first recess (451) has a diameter substantially equal to 4.5 mm and extends about 12 mm.
  • the second recess (452) is approximately 7mm long, 8mm wide and 5mm high.
  • the second recess (452) has dimensions for positioning the second recharging plug (62) appropriately in depth and height so as to fit into the connector (221) of the electronic payment device.
  • the insertion of the cable (6) in the housing (45) of the second portion (4) is made possible by the presence of a slot (46) formed along the length of the tongue (41) and opening on the two recesses (451, 452).
  • This slot slightly narrower than the first cable guide recess (451) can be widened to allow the cable (6) to pass through: for this, the first portion (3) and the second portion (4) are made of a material flexible, plastic type, so as to be slightly deformable.
  • the first recess (451) has a diameter slightly smaller than that of the cable (6): thus, when the cable is in place, it causes the slot (46) to widen, because of the flexibility of the material of the second portion (4), which forces the sides of the tongue (41) to rise outward.
  • the two portions (3, 4) are held tight against each other. 'other.
  • a cable (6) comprising a cable head (61) provided with a recharging plug (62), is inserted into the housing (45) of the second portion (4) through the slot (46).
  • the holding of the cable and the precise positioning of the cable head (61) and the plug (62) in the housing (45) are provided by a sliding movement of the cable (arrow 1).
  • the tongue (41) of the second portion (4) is inserted into the groove (31) of the first portion (3) by a sliding movement (arrow 2).
  • the two portions (3, 4) then abut against each other through the two shoulders (34, 44).
  • the two reloading cards (51, 62) are in an arrangement enabling them to fit appropriately and operationally into the two connectors (211, 221) of the electronic payment device (2).
  • the two recharging cards (51, 62) are inserted simultaneously (arrow 3) in the two connectors (211, 221); the first plug (51) connecting to the connector (211) of the payment terminal (21); the second plug (62) connecting to the connector (221) of the communication terminal (22).
  • the electric recharging of the two terminals (21, 22) is thus simultaneous.
  • the second portion (4) can be adapted according to the communication terminal (22) to be recharged.
  • the Figures 7A and 7B present as examples two types of second portion (70, 80) corresponding to two types of communication terminals. These two types of communication terminals have for example a different thickness, which causes a variation of the height position of their recharging connector.
