Claims (10)

  1. Seal (1) for securing goods, the seal comprising a first portion (2) having a connecting element (4), a second portion (3) having a receiving element (5) for receiving at least one part of the connecting element (4), and a data input unit (6) and/or data receiving unit (6), it being possible to interconnect the first and second portion by introducing at least one part of the connecting element (4) into the receiving element (5), it being possible to non-destructively separate the first and second portion from one another again only when the data input unit (6) and/or data receiving unit (6) receives a predetermined data signal, and the connecting element (4) comprising a needle, said needle having a pointed end (7) and a blunt end (8) and the pointed end (7), upon introduction into the receiving element (5), being irreversibly connected to the receiving element, characterised in that the blunt end (8) of the needle can be separated from the first portion when the data input unit and/or data receiving unit receives the predetermined data signal, the first portion having a securing mechanism (17), which fixes the blunt end (8) of the needle in the first portion and is suitable for releasing the blunt end of the needle when the data input unit and/or data receiving unit receives the predetermined data signal.

  5. Method for securing a goods item, said method comprising the following steps:
    a) providing a seal (1) according to any of the previous claims which comprises a first portion (2) having a connecting element (4), a second portion (3) having a receiving element (5) for receiving at least one part of the connecting element (4), and a data input unit (6) and/or data receiving unit (6);
    b) providing a goods item (19);
    c) connecting the first and second portion (2, 3) of the seal (1) by introducing at least one part of the connecting element (4) into the receiving element (5) in such a way that the seal (1) is connected to the goods item (19), wherein the first and second portion (2, 3) can be non-destructively separated from one another again only when the data input unit (6) and/or data receiving unit (6) receives a predetermined data signal;
    d) forwarding or providing, by sending the goods item (19), ordered by telephone or via the internet, to a customer by post or a delivery service, together with the seal (1);
    e) transmitting the predetermined data signal to the data input unit (6) and/or data receiving unit (6); and
    f) separating the first and second portion (2, 3) from one another to release the goods item (19).
  6. Method according to claim 5, wherein the step of transmitting the predetermined data signal to the data input unit and/or data receiving unit comprises the following steps:
    forwarding the predetermined data signal to the customer, and
    inputting the forwarded data signal into the data input unit, or
    transmitting the forwarded data signal to the data receiving unit.
  7. Method according to either claim 5 or claim 6, wherein the step of transmitting the predetermined data signal to the data input unit and/or data receiving unit takes place and/or is authorised by an external apparatus, as soon as a payment has been made, preferably by mobile payment or e-payment.
  8. Method according to claim 5, 6 or 7, wherein the step of transmitting the predetermined data signal to the data input unit and/or data receiving unit comprises a direct or indirect transmission of the predetermined data signal to the data receiving unit.
  9. Method according to any of claims 5 to 8, wherein the first and second portion (2, 3) of the seal (1) are additionally interconnected via a cable (21), a wire (21) or a bracket.
  10. Method according to any of claims 5 to 9, wherein the connecting element (4) has a needle and wherein step c) comprises piercing a portion of the goods item (19), so that this portion of the goods item is fixed between the first and second portion (2, 3) of the seal (1).
