  • BACKGROUD
  • Documents CN 202856124 U and CN 205039262 U respectively disclose a plug-in waterproof wire connector of the generic type defined above.
  • Waterproof wire connector is kind of lamp wire sealing fitting made of a special protective material having a dustproof and waterproof function. At present, the waterproof wire connector available in the market mainly adopts the following structures: one type is that the middle connection body of the waterproof wire connector adopts a plug-in connection structure, that is, the male-female plug-in connection mode, through which two separate wires to be electrically connected realize a plug-in connection in the middle connection body, so as to achieve the effect of sealing waterproof connection; another type is that the waterproof wire connector adopts a fixing mode of lock screw, in which two separate wires to be electrically connected are fixed in the connector by a screw after realizing connection and then sealing processing is performed on the shell of the connector to achieve the effect of waterproof connection.
  • However, existing waterproof wire connectors of the above two structures still have some drawbacks as follows: first, for the waterproof wire connector adopting the male-female plug-in structure, it is needed to place the carrier male-female plug pair inside the connector, as thus, it is easy to cause the falloff of fastened wires while taking out or placing wires, with a safety hazard; for the waterproof wire connector adopting the fixing mode of lock screw, the connector is easy to subject to a certain angle of limitation, and, an extra disassembly tool is needed when the carrier member of wires is disassembled or fixed, which is not beneficial for realizing rapid connection of wires.
  • SUMMARY
  • The technical problem to be solved by the disclosure is to provide a plug-in waterproof wire connector, which not only can realize rapid insertion and fixing of wires, but also can realize dustproof and waterproof wiring, in view of the above existing technologies.
  • The technical scheme adopted by the present invention to solve the above technical problem is: A plug-in waterproof wire connector, comprising: a sealing cap, a sealing ring, a connection cap, a conductive assembly, a fixed sleeve, the conductive assembly being located in the fixed sleeve, and a fixed cap, wherein the sealing cap has a first through hole for a wire to pass through, the fixed cap has a second through hole for a wire to pass through, the connection cap has a cavity with an opening arranged at both ends, the sealing ring is arranged at a first opening of the connection cap, and the sealing cap is sealed and fastened with one end of the connection cap corresponding to the first opening. Further the plug-in wire connector comprises a cap plate having a first inlet hole for a wire to pass through, the cap plate being matched with the conductive assembly, the cap plate being fastened with the fixed sleeve at a first end of the fixed sleeve, a first end of the fixed sleeve having a third through hole directly facing the conductive assembly, the other end of the connection cap being sealed and fastened with the first end of the fixed sleeve, and the second end of the fixed sleeve being sealed and fixed with the fixed cap. The conductive assembly includes a first conductor and a second conductor that are mutually matched, wherein the second conductor is located in the first conductor, the first conductor has a second wire inlet hole arranged at both ends for a wire to pass through, the second conductor has a limiting structure arranged at both ends to limit and fix the wire, and the second wire inlet hole directly faces the corresponding limiting structure.
  • Thereby two wires to be connected are stably and fixedly connected in the connector. In this way, one wire enters one limiting structure to be limited, through the second wire inlet hole on the fixed cap, and the other wire passes through the other second wire inlet hole of the first conductor and is limited by the other limiting structure; at this time, the two wires are electrically connected through the first conductor and the second conductor that are mutually matched, and the connection effect is good as the two wires are limited and fixed by the limiting structure.
  • In order to meet the actual need of plugging in a plurality of wires, as an improvement, the cap plate has at least two first wire inlet holes spaced from one another, and, correspondingly, there are at least two conductive assemblies which are in non-electrical contact with each other. For example, the cap plate may have three first wire inlet holes spaced from one another, and, correspondingly, there are three conductive assemblies arranged separately, which are always in non-electrical contact with each other. Of course, the cap plate may also be provided with four or five first wire inlet holes, and exhaustivity is not made here. In particular, in order to ensure that all conductive assemblies are in non-electrical contact with each other and to prevent the occurrence of short circuit, as an improvement, an insulating shell for packaging the conductive assembly is arranged outside the conductive assembly, and the insulating shell has an electric wire jack for the inlet and outlet of wires. In this way, when connecting or replacing the wire in the conductive assembly, the insulating shell will never contact a live part of the waterproof wire connector, making the waterproof wire connector have a better safety performance.
  • After the wires are limited and fixed inside the connector by the limiting structure, in order to take the wire out of the connector conveniently, as an improvement, the first wire inlet hole on the cap plate is formed by a through hole and an oblique hole for the insertion of an ejector pin member that are interconnected with each other. In this way, only if the ejector pin member is inserted into the connector through the oblique hole, the wire can be taken out, because the oblique hole is inclined at a certain angle and along the same inclination angle the ejector pin member can push and deform the limiting structure of the second conductor to leave some clearance for the wire to get out.
  • In addition, in order to further enhance the limiting effect of the limiting structure on the wire, the limiting structure at both ends of the second conductor is in a V shape.
  • To realize the sealing and fastening of the sealing cap and the connection cap, optionally, the sealing cap and the connection cap are fastened through a thread structure, and a first sealing ring is arranged at the fastening place of the thread structure. For example, internal threads are arranged on the inner wall of the sealing cap, external threads matched with the internal threads are arranged on the outside of the connection cap and the first sealing ring is sleeved on the external thread, so as to realize the fastening and sealing of the sealing cap and the connection cap. Of course, the fastening place between the sealing cap and the connection cap may also achieve a sealing effect through the setting of waterproof glue. Likewise, the connection cap and the fixed sleeve are fastened through a thread structure, and a second sealing ring is arranged at the fastening place of the thread structure.
  • In order to make the cap plate capable of being detachably fixed on the fixed sleeve, so as to repair the conductive assembly as needed; as an improvement, a protrusion is circumferentially arranged on the cap plate, a groove matched with the protrusion is arranged on the fixed sleeve, and the cap plate and the fixed sleeve are fastened through the mutually matched protrusion and groove.
  • Compared with the existing technology, the disclosure has benefits as follows: with this wire connector, wires can be connected without extra tools, the needed wires can be inserted into the connector rapidly and conveniently through the first through hole of the sealing cap and the second through hole of the fixed cap simply; when to replace an electrical wire, it is only needed to insert a thin pin into the oblique circular hole to quickly replace the electrical wire, without an extra tool to disassemble; the design for the falloff of electrical wire can avoid the risk of the automatic falloff or error falloff of electrical wires. Compared with the products available in the market, it is not necessary to disassemble the conductive assembly in the wire connector, avoiding the troubles in the conventional connector that it is needed to first perform wire connection at two ends and then perform waterproof processing; as two wires are limited and fixed by the limiting structure, a self-locking function is realized for the wires by the limiting structure, so as to ensure the electrical contact effect of wires; moreover, a sealing ring is arranged at both the fastening place between the sealing cap and the connection cap and the fastening place between the connection cap and the fixed sleeve, to achieve a dustproof and waterproof effect; an insulating member is packaged on the outside of the second conductor, for electric insulation, thereby avoiding the occurrence of short circuit caused by the electrical contact among a plurality of second conductors and making a safety line; when it is needed to take out the wire inside the connector, the fastened wire will not fall off as it is limited by the limiting structure, with safety hazard eliminated.

In particular, after the wires enter the wire connector through the first through hole 10 and the second through hole 70 respectively, clearance is left between the wire and the first through hole 10, between the wire and the second through hole 70, then a plastic member or other sealing members are used to seal the clearance left in the first through hole 10 and the second through hole 70 so as to realize the waterproof and dustproof effect at two ends of the wire connector.
  • In order to meet the actual need of plugging in a plurality of wires, as an improvement, in the waterproof wire connector provided in this embodiment, the cap plate 4 has at least two first wire inlet holes 40 spaced from one another, and, correspondingly, there are at least two conductive assemblies 5 which are in non-electrical contact with each other. For example, the cap plate 4 may have three first wire inlet holes 40 spaced from one another, and, correspondingly, there are three conductive assemblies 5 arranged separately, which are always in non-electrical contact with each other. Of course, the cap plate 4 may also be provided with four or five first wire inlets, and exhaustivity is not made here. In particular, in order to ensure that all conductive assemblies are in non-electrical contact with each other and to prevent the occurrence of short circuit, as an improvement, an insulating shell for packaging the conductive assembly is arranged outside the conductive assembly 5.
  • In order to make two wires to be connected capable of being stably and fixedly connected in the connector, as an improvement, the conductive assembly 5 includes a first conductor 51 and a second conductor 52 that are mutually matched, wherein the second conductor 52 is located in the first conductor 51, the first conductor 51 has a second wire inlet hole 510 for a wire to pass through, the second conductor 52 has a limiting structure 520 arranged at both ends to limit the wire, and the second wire inlet hole 510 directly faces the corresponding limiting structure 520. The second conductor 52 may be made of copper materials. Refer to FIG. 9(a) and FIG. 9(b). In this way, one wire enters one limiting structure 520 to be limited, through the second wire inlet hole 510 on the fixed cap 7, and the other wire passes through the other second wire inlet hole 510 of the first conductor 51 and is limited by the other limiting structure 520; at this time, the two wires are electrically connected through the first conductor 51 and the second conductor 52 that are mutually matched, and the connection effect is good as the two wires are limited and fixed by the limiting structure.
  • In particular, after the wires are limited and fixed inside the connector by the limiting structure 520, in order to take the wire out of the connector conveniently, as an improvement, refer to FIG.8(a) and FIG. 8(b), the first wire inlet hole 40 on the cap plate 4 is formed by a through hole 401 and an oblique hole 402 for the insertion of an ejector pin member that are interconnected with each other. In this way, only if the ejector pin member is inserted into the connector through the oblique hole 402, the wire can be taken out, because the oblique hole 402 is inclined at a certain angle and along the same inclination angle the ejector pin member can push and deform the limiting structure 520 of the second conductor 52 to leave some clearance for the wire to get out. Since the ejector pin member is limited by the inclination angle of the oblique hole 402, the ejector pin member causes no damage to the limiting structure 520; therefore, the wire inside the connector can be rapidly replaced and the service life of the connector can be prolonged. Compared with the structures available in the market in which wires are pulled out of a connector by way of shaking, the waterproof wire connector provided in this embodiment causes no damage to the limiting structure, and causes no wire breaks inside the connector; therefore, the waterproof wire connector provided in this embodiment is safer, more reliable and more convenient. In particular, the through hole 401 and the oblique hole 402 may be integrated, such that the connection place between the oblique hole 402 and the through hole 401 is more smooth and is more beneficial for the ejector pin member to enter the connector smoothly. The cross section of the oblique hole 402 may select a semi-circular shape and the through hole 401 may adopt a nearly circular shape, in this way the cross section of the first wire inlet hole 40 formed by the through hole 401 and the oblique hole 402 that are interconnected with each other approximately is in an 8 shape with middle connection removed.
  • In addition, in order to further enhance the limiting effect of the limiting structure 520 on the wire, the limiting structure 520 at both ends of the second conductor 52 is in a V shape. For the structure of the limiting structure 520, please refer to FIG. 10(a) and FIG. 10(b).
  • To realize the sealing and fastening of the sealing cap 1 and the connection cap 3, optionally, the sealing cap 1 and the connection cap 3 are fastened through a thread structure, and a first sealing ring 81 is arranged at the fastening place of the thread structure. Of course, the fastening place between the sealing cap 1 and the connection cap 3 may also achieve a sealing effect through the setting of waterproof glue. For example, internal threads are arranged on the inner wall of the sealing cap 1, external threads matched with the internal threads are arranged on the outside of the connection cap 3 and the first sealing ring 81 is sleeved on the external thread of the connection cap 3, so as to realize the fastening and sealing of the sealing cap 1 and the connection cap 3. Likewise, the connection cap 3 and the fixed sleeve 6 are fastened through a thread structure, and a second sealing ring 82 is arranged at the fastening place of the thread structure.
  • In order to make the cap plate 4 capable of being detachably fixed on the fixed sleeve 6, so as to repair the conductive assembly 5 as needed; as an improvement, a protrusion 41 is circumferentially arranged on the cap plate 4, a groove 61 matched with the protrusion 41 is arranged on the fixed sleeve 6, and the cap plate 4 and the fixed sleeve 6 are fastened through the mutually matched protrusion 41 and groove 61.
  • With this wire connector, wires can be connected without extra tools, the needed wires can be inserted into the connector rapidly and conveniently through the first through hole 10 of the sealing cap 1 and the second through hole 70 of the fixed cap 7 simply; it is not necessary to disassemble the conductive assembly in the wire connector, thus avoiding the troubles in the conventional connector that it is needed to first perform wire connection at two ends and then perform waterproof processing; as two wires are limited and fixed by the limiting structure 520, a self-locking function is realized for the wires by the limiting structure, so as to ensure the electrical contact effect of wires; moreover, a sealing ring is arranged at both the fastening place between the sealing cap 1 and the connection cap 3 and the fastening place between the connection cap 3 and the fixed sleeve 6, to achieve a dustproof and waterproof effect; an insulating member is packaged on the outside of the second conductor 52, for electric insulation, thereby avoiding the occurrence of short circuit caused by the electrical contact among a plurality of second conductors and making a safety line; when it is needed to take out the wire inside the connector, the fastened wire will not fall off as it is limited by the limiting structure, with safety hazard eliminated. For other waterproof wire connectors available in the market, it is needed to fix a wire in the connector first and then install the waterproof connector onto a lamp, or to fix the waterproof connector onto a lamp first and then fix a wire in the connector through a tool. Compared with the waterproof wire connectors available in the market, it is only needed to install the waterproof wire connector provided in this embodiment onto a lamp and then insert the wire of the lamp into the connector to complete the connection operation, which is simpler, safer and more reliable.
