Consequently, an impact attenuating structure 706 may be protected from impalement by this overlapping configuration.

Claims (10)
- Bewegliche tragbare Schutzvorrichtung, umfassend:eine Aufprallschale mit einer Vorderfläche, einer gegenüberliegenden Hinterfläche, einer medialen Kante, einer gegenüberliegenden Seitenkante, einer Oberkante und einer gegenüberliegenden Unterkante;die Aufprallschale, ferner umfassend:ein mediales Schalenelement, das sich von der Oberkante zur Unterkante und von der medialen Kante zu einer medialen Gelenkkante erstreckt,ein seitliches Schalenelement, das sich von der Oberkante zur Unterkante und von der Seitenkante zu einer seitlichen Gelenkkante erstreckt,eine Gelenkkomponente zur gelenkigen Verbindung der medialen Gelenkkante mit der seitlichen Gelenkkante;eine Aufpralldämpfungsstruktur mit einer Hinterfläche, einer gegenüberliegenden Vorderfläche, einer medialen Kante, einer gegenüberliegenden Seitenkante, einer Oberkante und einer gegenüberliegenden Unterkante, wobei die Aufpralldämpfungsstruktur-Vorderfläche direkt mit der Hinterfläche der Aufprallschale nahe einem Abschnitt des medialen Schalenelements und nahe einem Abschnitt des seitlichen Schalenelements verbunden ist;ein durchstoßfestes Element; undeinen Overlaystreifen mit Verbindung über dem durchstoßfesten Element;worin das durchstoßfeste Element integral mit dem medialen und seitlichen Schalenelement ist und das durchstoßfeste Element eine geringere Dicke als das mediale und seitliche Schalenelement aufweist und worin die Gelenkkomponente das durchstoßfeste Element und das Overlay umfasst.
- Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin die Aufprallschale aus mindestens einem Material hergestellt ist, das aus Folgendem ausgewählt ist:a) einem polymerbasierten Material; oderb) einem Harz- und Fasermaterial.
- Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin das durchstoßfeste Element aus einem Webstoff hergestellt ist.
- Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin sich das durchstoßfeste Element von nahe der Oberkante der Aufprallschale zu nahe der Unterkante der Aufprallschale erstreckt.
- Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin das durchstoßfeste Element aus einem thermoplastischen Polyurethanmaterial hergestellt ist.
- Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin das durchstoßfeste Element eine Brücke beinhaltet, die integral mit dem medialen Schalenelement und dem seitlichen Schalenelement geformt ist und die mediale Gelenkkante mit der seitlichen Gelenkkante verbindet, um als selbstbewegliches Gelenk zu fungieren, und bevorzugter, worin das Overlay ein elastomerer Streifen ist und mit einem Vorderflächenabschnitt der Brücke von nahe der Oberkante zu nahe der Unterkante verbunden ist und worin die Gelenkkomponente den mit der Brücke kombinierten elastomeren Streifen umfasst.
- Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin die Aufpralldämpfungsstruktur ferner aus einem Kanal besteht, der sich von der Aufpralldämpfungsstruktur-Oberkante zur Aufpralldämpfungsstruktur-Unterkante auf der Aufpralldämpfungsstruktur-Hinterfläche erstreckt, und vorzugsweise, worin der Kanal im Wesentlichen parallel zu der medialen Gelenkkante und der seitlichen Gelenkkante ist.
- Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin die Hinterfläche und die Vorderfläche der Aufpralldämpfungsstruktur aus einem thermoplastischen Polyurethanmaterial mit einem zwischen der Hinterfläche und der Vorderfläche gehaltenen Schaummaterial hergestellt sind.
- Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, ferner umfassend:
eine ein selbstbewegliches Gelenk aufweisende Brückenkomponente, die integral mit dem medialen Schalenelement und dem seitlichen Schalenelement hergestellt ist und die mediale Gelenkkante mit der seitlichen Gelenkkante verbindet, und
worin das Overlay ein elastomerer Streifen ist, der entlang der Vorderfläche der ein selbstbewegliches Gelenk aufweisenden Brückenkomponente verbunden ist. - Bewegliche Schutzvorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, worin das mediale Schalenelement, das seitliche Schalenelement und die ein selbstbewegliches Gelenk aufweisende Brückenkomponente aus einem gleichen Material geformt sind, und vorzugsweise, worin das gleiche Material ein polymerbasiertes Material oder ein Harz- und Fasermaterial beinhaltet.
