Abstract

A pacifier holder box includes a housing (10), and a pacifier holder (14) mounted in the housing. The housing includes a first cover (11), a second cover (12), a clamping member (15) and an annular frame (151). The first cover has a first receiving chamber (111), a first opening (112), a first positioning portion (113) and a first locking edge (117). The second cover has a second receiving chamber (121), a second opening (122), a second positioning portion (123) and a second locking edge (127). A passage (16) is formed by the first opening and the second opening. The pacifier holder has two elastic legs (141) and a receiving hole (142). A pacifier (A) is received in the receiving hole and positioned between the two elastic legs. The pacifier protrudes outward from the passage of the housing.

Description

  • The present invention relates to a box and, more particularly, to a pacifier holder box.
  • A conventional pacifier holder box is used to receive and store a pacifier when not in use to prevent the pacifier from being contaminated. The conventional pacifier holder box is attached to a baby by a connecting strap and a clip. However, the conventional pacifier holder box, the connecting strap and the clip are easily swallowed by the baby inadvertently, thereby causing danger to the baby. In addition, when the clip is loosened from the clothes of the baby, the conventional pacifier holder box is easily dropped and lost.
  • In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a pacifier holder box comprising a housing and a pacifier holder mounted in the housing. The housing includes a first cover and a second cover pivotally connected with each other by a pivot member. The housing has a side integrally formed with a clamping member having an annular frame. The first cover has an inner face provided with a first receiving chamber. The first receiving chamber of the first cover has a periphery provided with a first opening. The first receiving chamber of the first cover has an inner wall provided with a first positioning portion. The first cover has a periphery provided with a first locking edge. The second cover has an inner face provided with a second receiving chamber. The second receiving chamber of the second cover has a periphery provided with a second opening juxtaposed to the first opening, and a passage is formed by the first opening of the first cover and the second opening of the second cover. The second receiving chamber of the second cover has an inner wall provided with a second positioning portion positioned on the first positioning portion of the first cover. The second cover has a periphery provided with a second locking edge locked onto the first locking edge of the first cover. The pacifier holder is located between the first receiving chamber of the first cover and the second receiving chamber of the second cover. The pacifier holder is provided with two elastic legs, and a receiving hole is defined between the two elastic legs of the pacifier holder. A pacifier is received in the receiving hole of the pacifier holder and is positioned between the two elastic legs of the pacifier holder. The pacifier extends through and protrudes outward from the passage of the housing.
  • According to the primary advantage of the present invention, the first cover and the second cover are closed to receive the pacifier and are opened to release the pacifier, so that the pacifier is stored and used easily and conveniently.
  • According to another advantage of the present invention, the clamping member directly clamps the clothes of the baby to attach the housing to the baby, so that the pacifier holder box is operated easily and quickly.
  • According to a further advantage of the present invention, the tie is connected between the pacifier and the annular frame of the clamping member to prevent the pacifier from being dropped, so that the pacifier is secured exactly.

  • Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-7, a pacifier holder box in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a housing 10 and a pacifier holder 14 mounted in the housing 10.
  • The housing 10 includes a first cover 11 and a second cover 12 pivotally connected with each other by a pivot member 13. The housing 10 has a side integrally formed with a clamping member 15 having an annular frame 151.
  • The first cover 11 has an inner face provided with a first receiving chamber 111. The first receiving chamber 111 of the first cover 11 has a periphery provided with a first opening 112. The first receiving chamber 111 of the first cover 11 has an inner wall provided with a first positioning portion 113. The first cover 11 has a periphery provided with a first locking edge 117.
  • The second cover 12 has an inner face provided with a second receiving chamber 121. The second receiving chamber 121 of the second cover 12 has a periphery provided with a second opening 122 juxtaposed to the first opening 112, and a passage 16 is formed by the first opening 112 of the first cover 11 and the second opening 122 of the second cover 12. The second receiving chamber 121 of the second cover 12 has an inner wall provided with a second positioning portion 123 positioned on the first positioning portion 113 of the first cover 11. The second cover 12 has a periphery provided with a second locking edge 127 locked onto the first locking edge 117 of the first cover 11.
  • The pacifier holder 14 is located between the first receiving chamber 111 of the first cover 11 and the second receiving chamber 121 of the second cover 12. The pacifier holder 14 is provided with two elastic legs 141, and a receiving hole 142 is defined between the two elastic legs 141 of the pacifier holder 14. A pacifier "A" is received in the receiving hole 142 of the pacifier holder 14 and is positioned between the two elastic legs 141 of the pacifier holder 14. The pacifier "A" is received in the housing 10 and extends through and protrudes outward from the passage 16 of the housing 10.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, the two elastic legs 141 of the pacifier holder 14 form a substantially M-shaped profile. The first positioning portion 113 of the first cover 11 has a cylindrical shape, and the second positioning portion 123 of the second cover 12 has a cylindrical shape.
  • Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 2, each of the two elastic legs 141 of the pacifier holder 14 has a substantially arc-shaped profile. The first positioning portion 113 of the first cover 11 is a sheet plate, and the second positioning portion 123 of the second cover 12 is a sheet plate.
  • In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first positioning portion 113 of the first cover 11 has an end portion provided with a first engaging portion 115, and the second positioning portion 123 of the second cover 12 has an end portion provided with a second engaging portion 125 engaging the first engaging portion 115 of the first positioning portion 113.
  • In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the pacifier holder 14 is provided with a fixing piece 143 having a plurality of mounting holes 144 mounted on the second positioning portion 123 of the second cover 12. The second cover 12 is provided with at least one locating projection 126 located in the second receiving chamber 121, and the fixing piece 143 of the pacifier holder 14 is provided with at least one locating hole 145 mounted on the locating projection 126 of the second cover 12.
  • In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first cover 11 has an inner peripheral wall provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs 116.
  • In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first cover 11 has a surface provided with two first hooking holes 114, and the second cover 12 has a surface provided with two second hooking holes 124. In such a manner, when the housing 10 is swallowed by a baby accidentally, a pair of tweezers or forceps are used by the watcher to hook on the two first hooking holes 114 of the first cover 11 or the two second hooking holes 124 of the second cover 12 so as to pull and remove the housing 10 from the baby exactly and quickly.
  • When in use, referring to FIGS. 6 and 7 with reference to FIGS. 1-5, the pacifier holder 14 is located between the first receiving chamber 111 of the first cover 11 and the second receiving chamber 121 of the second cover 12. The pacifier "A" is received in the receiving hole 142 of the pacifier holder 14 and is positioned between the two elastic legs 141 of the pacifier holder 14 as shown in FIG. 6. When the first cover 11 covers the second cover 12, the second positioning portion 123 of the second cover 12 is positioned on the first positioning portion 113 of the first cover 11, and the second locking edge 127 of the second cover 12 is locked onto the first locking edge 117 of the first cover 11. Thus, the pacifier "A" is received and stored in the housing 10. At this time, the pacifier "A" extends through and protrudes outward from the passage 16 of the housing 10 between the first opening 112 of the first cover 11 and the second opening 122 of the second cover 12.
  • When the user wishes to secure the pacifier holder box to the baby, the clamping member 15 directly clamps the clothes of the baby to attach the housing 10 to the baby. In addition, a tie "B" is connected between the pacifier "A" and the annular frame 151 of the clamping member 15 as shown in FIG. 7 to prevent the pacifier "A" from being dropped.
  • As shown in FIG. 8, the first cover 11' and the second cover 12' have diverse spatial shapes, and the first receiving chamber 111' and the second receiving chamber 121' have different dimensions to correspond to the first cover 11' and the second cover 12' respectively. Alternatively, the first cover 11' and the second cover 12' have diverse patterns, figures or trademark designs.
  • Accordingly, the first cover 11 and the second cover 12 are closed to receive the pacifier "A" and are opened to release the pacifier "A", so that the pacifier "A" is stored and used easily and conveniently. In addition, the clamping member 15 directly clamps the clothes of the baby to attach the housing 10 to the baby, so that the pacifier holder box is operated easily and quickly. Further, the tie "B" is connected between the pacifier "A" and the annular frame 151 of the clamping member 15 to prevent the pacifier "A" from being dropped, so that the pacifier "A" is secured exactly.
  • Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.

Claims (8)

  1. A pacifier holder box comprising:
    a housing (10); and
    a pacifier holder (14) mounted in the housing;
    wherein:
    the housing includes a first cover (11) and a second cover (12) pivotally connected with each other by a pivot member (13);
    the housing has a side integrally formed with a clamping member (15) having an annular frame (151);
    the first cover has an inner face provided with a first receiving chamber (111);
    the first receiving chamber of the first cover has a periphery provided with a first opening (112);
    the first receiving chamber of the first cover has an inner wall provided with a first positioning portion (113);
    the first cover has a periphery provided with a first locking edge (117);
    the second cover has an inner face provided with a second receiving chamber (121);
    the second receiving chamber of the second cover has a periphery provided with a second opening (122) juxtaposed to the first opening, and a passage (16) is formed by the first opening of the first cover and the second opening of the second cover;
    the second receiving chamber of the second cover has an inner wall provided with a second positioning portion (123) positioned on the first positioning portion of the first cover;
    the second cover has a periphery provided with a second locking edge (127) locked onto the first locking edge of the first cover;
    the pacifier holder is located between the first receiving chamber of the first cover and the second receiving chamber of the second cover;
    the pacifier holder is provided with two elastic legs (141), and a receiving hole (142) is defined between the two elastic legs of the pacifier holder;
    a pacifier (A) is received in the receiving hole of the pacifier holder and is positioned between the two elastic legs of the pacifier holder; and
    the pacifier extends through and protrudes outward from the passage of the housing.
  2. The pacifier holder box of claim 1, wherein the two elastic legs of the pacifier holder form a substantially M-shaped profile, or each of the two elastic legs of the pacifier holder has a substantially arc-shaped profile.
  3. The pacifier holder box of claim 1, wherein the first positioning portion of the first cover has a cylindrical shape, and the second positioning portion of the second cover has a cylindrical shape, or the first positioning portion of the first cover is a sheet plate, and the second positioning portion of the second cover is a sheet plate.
  4. The pacifier holder box of claim 1, wherein the first positioning portion of the first cover has an end portion provided with a first engaging portion (115), and the second positioning portion of the second cover has an end portion provided with a second engaging portion (125) engaging the first engaging portion of the first positioning portion.
  5. The pacifier holder box of claim 1, wherein the pacifier holder is provided with a fixing piece (143) having a plurality of mounting holes (144) mounted on the second positioning portion of the second cover, the second cover is provided with at least one locating projection (126) located in the second receiving chamber, and the fixing piece of the pacifier holder is provided with at least one locating hole (145) mounted on the locating projection of the second cover.
  6. The pacifier holder box of claim 1, wherein the first cover has an inner peripheral wall provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs (116).
  7. The pacifier holder box of claim 1, wherein the first cover has a surface provided with two first hooking holes (114), and the second cover has a surface provided with two second hooking holes (124).
  8. The pacifier holder box of claim 1, wherein the first cover (11') and the second cover (12') have diverse spatial shapes, and the first receiving chamber (111') and the second receiving chamber (121') have different dimensions to correspond to the first cover and the second cover respectively, or the first cover and the second cover have diverse patterns, figures or trademark designs.
