Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to a box and, more particularly, to a pacifier holder box.
- A conventional pacifier holder box is used to receive and store a pacifier when not in use to prevent the pacifier from being contaminated. The conventional pacifier holder box is attached to a baby by a connecting strap and a clip. However, the conventional pacifier holder box, the connecting strap and the clip are easily swallowed by the baby inadvertently, thereby causing danger to the baby. In addition, when the clip is loosened from the clothes of the baby, the conventional pacifier holder box is easily dropped and lost.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a pacifier holder box comprising a housing and a pacifier holder mounted in the housing. The housing includes a first cover and a second cover pivotally connected with each other by a pivot member. The housing has a side integrally formed with a clamping member having an annular frame. The first cover has an inner face provided with a first receiving chamber. The first receiving chamber of the first cover has a periphery provided with a first opening. The first receiving chamber of the first cover has an inner wall provided with a first positioning portion. The first cover has a periphery provided with a first locking edge. The second cover has an inner face provided with a second receiving chamber. The second receiving chamber of the second cover has a periphery provided with a second opening juxtaposed to the first opening, and a passage is formed by the first opening of the first cover and the second opening of the second cover. The second receiving chamber of the second cover has an inner wall provided with a second positioning portion positioned on the first positioning portion of the first cover. The second cover has a periphery provided with a second locking edge locked onto the first locking edge of the first cover. The pacifier holder is located between the first receiving chamber of the first cover and the second receiving chamber of the second cover. The pacifier holder is provided with two elastic legs, and a receiving hole is defined between the two elastic legs of the pacifier holder. A pacifier is received in the receiving hole of the pacifier holder and is positioned between the two elastic legs of the pacifier holder. The pacifier extends through and protrudes outward from the passage of the housing.
- According to the primary advantage of the present invention, the first cover and the second cover are closed to receive the pacifier and are opened to release the pacifier, so that the pacifier is stored and used easily and conveniently.
- According to another advantage of the present invention, the clamping member directly clamps the clothes of the baby to attach the housing to the baby, so that the pacifier holder box is operated easily and quickly.
- According to a further advantage of the present invention, the tie is connected between the pacifier and the annular frame of the clamping member to prevent the pacifier from being dropped, so that the pacifier is secured exactly.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

Thefirst receiving chamber 111 of thefirst cover 11 has an inner wall provided with afirst positioning portion 113. Thefirst cover 11 has a periphery provided with afirst locking edge 117. - The
second cover 12 has an inner face provided with asecond receiving chamber 121. Thesecond receiving chamber 121 of thesecond cover 12 has a periphery provided with a second opening 122 juxtaposed to thefirst opening 112, and apassage 16 is formed by the first opening 112 of thefirst cover 11 and the second opening 122 of thesecond cover 12. Thesecond receiving chamber 121 of thesecond cover 12 has an inner wall provided with asecond positioning portion 123 positioned on thefirst positioning portion 113 of thefirst cover 11. Thesecond cover 12 has a periphery provided with asecond locking edge 127 locked onto thefirst locking edge 117 of thefirst cover 11. - The
pacifier holder 14 is located between thefirst receiving chamber 111 of thefirst cover 11 and thesecond receiving chamber 121 of thesecond cover 12. Thepacifier holder 14 is provided with twoelastic legs 141, and areceiving hole 142 is defined between the twoelastic legs 141 of thepacifier holder 14. A pacifier "A" is received in thereceiving hole 142 of thepacifier holder 14 and is positioned between the twoelastic legs 141 of thepacifier holder 14. The pacifier "A" is received in thehousing 10 and extends through and protrudes outward from thepassage 16 of thehousing 10. - As shown in
