- Each of the four corners of the inner bag 20 is held, from the front side and back side, by the loop portion 25, and is sewn to the loop portion 25 (sewn portions 25B).
- each loop portion 25 is formed from a single flat piece that is cut into such a shape that the trapezoidal shape formed by folding the single flat piece into two conforms to the shape of each of the four corners of the inner bag 20. More specifically, each loop portion 25 is formed from a single flat piece that is cut into such a shape that two trapezoidal shapes connected at the shorter base side are obtained by folding the single flat piece into two.
- the leather piece is folded into two such that the loop portion 25 has a trapezoidal shape that conforms to each corner of the inner bag 20. Then, the loop portion 25 is set so as to hold the first inner cover piece 21 and the second inner cover piece 22 from the front side and back side. Each of the four corners of the inner bag 20 is provided with the loop portion 25. Then, root portions of the loop portions 25 that hold the four corners of the inner bag 20 are sewn to the inner bag 20 (sewn portions 25B). In this way, the loop portions 25 are attached to the inner bag 20. With this attachment, the loop portions 25 are turned into a shape that conforms to each of the four corners of the inner bag 20, so that the loop portions 25 constitute the shapes of the four corners of the inner bag 20. Each loop portion 25 is formed into a looped shape, so that the leather string 30 can be passed through a space between nonparallel sides 25A of the trapezoidal portions facing each other.

As illustrated in FIG. 8 , each leather string 30 is passed through the loop portion 25 from one opening formed between the nonparallel sides of the trapezoidal portions facing each other to the other opening formed between the nonparallel sides of the trapezoidal portions facing each other. Thus, a middle portion of the leather string 30 is caught on the loop portion 25, so that the leather string 30 is attached to the loop portion 25. As illustrated in FIG. 4 , after the inner bag 20 is placed inside the outer bag 10, both end portions of each leather string 30 passed through the loop portion 25 are passed outward through a corresponding one of the through-holes 15 formed at the four corners of the outer bag 10. In this way, the both end potions of each of the leather strings 30 are drawn out of a corresponding one of the four corners of the outer bag 10.
- each leather string 30 is passed outward through the through-hole 15 of the outer bag 10 while the length of a portion of the leather string 30 drawn from the loop portion 25 out of the through-hole 15 is kept short.
- the folded-back portions on the root side of the leather string 30, where the leather string 30 is passed through the loop portion 25 are held in the through-hole 15 of the outer bag 10 while being shrunk in the through-hole 15 against their elastic resilience.
- each leather string 30 is held at an appropriate position by sliding frictional resistance due to the contact between the leather string 30 and the peripheral surface of the through-hole 15 of the outer bag 10.
- the end portions of each leather string 30 are prevented from being drawn into the through-hole 15 of the outer bag 10.
- the leather strings 30 passed through the four corners of the inner bag 20 are passed outward through the through-holes 15 formed at the four corners of the outer bag 10, so that the leather strings 30 are held at their appropriate positions.
- the four corners of the outer bag 10 are engaged with the four corners of the inner bag 20 via the leather strings 30.
- some sort of external force is applied to the bag body 2, the inner bag 20 is displaced from its normal position or sinks in the outer bag 10, and thus some of the leather strings 30 are drawn into the through-holes 15 of the outer bag 10.
- the four corners of the inner bag 20 can be located at the four corners of the outer bag 10 again through an operation of pulling the leather strings 30 out of the through-holes 15 again. With such an easy operation, the displacement of the inner bag 20 can be easily eliminated. Then, the form of the cushion 1 can be easily adjusted or changed by pulling or tying the leather strings 30.
- the bag body 2 has the following configuration.
- the bag body 2 has a double-bag structure including the inner bag 20 and the outer bag 10.
- the bag body 2 includes strings (leather strings 30) attached to the inner bag 20, and through-holes 15 formed in the outer bag 10.
- the strings (leather strings 30) are drawn out of the outer bag 10 through the through-holes 15.
- the strings (leather strings 30) are removably attached to the inner bag 20. With this configuration, it is possible to easily perform maintenance of the strings (leather strings 30) and replace the strings (leather strings 30). Further, the bag body 2 can be used with the strings (leather strings 30) removed. In this way, the bag body 2 can be used in a variety of forms.
- the inner bag 20 is provided with the loop portions 25 through which the strings (leather strings 30) can be passed.
- the strings (leather strings 30) are attached to the inner bag 20 by being passed through the loop portions 25.
- no knots are formed at positions at which the strings (leather strings 30) are attached to the inner bag 20.
- the through-holes 15 of the outer bag 10 are formed at positions corresponding to the positions at which the strings (leather strings 30) are drawn out of the loop portions 25. With this configuration, the root portions of the strings (leather strings 30) that are attached to the inner bag 20 are engaged with the through-holes 15 of the outer bag 10. Thus, it is possible to effectively prevent the inner bag 20 from being displaced from its normal position in the outer bag 10.
- Each loop portion 25 has an outer shape constituting (serves also as) a part of the bag shape (generally square bag shape) of the inner bag 20. - There are cushions having a double-bag structure in which an inner bag filled with stuffing, such as expandable beads, is accommodated in a cover bag that serves as an outer bag (refer to
Japanese Utility Model Registration No. 3098988 - In the related art, an inner bag may be displaced from its normal position in an outer bag, which may lower the level of comfort provided by a cushion.
- The invention provides a bag body having a double-bag structure including an inner bag and an outer bag, the bag body configured such that the inner bag is prevented from being displaced from its normal position in the outer bag.
- An aspect of the invention relates to a bag body having a double-bag structure including an inner bag and an outer bag. The bag body includes a string attached to the inner bag, and a through-hole formed in the outer bag. The string is drawn out of the outer bag through the through-hole.
- According to the above aspect, when the string attached to the inner bag is passed through the through-hole of the outer bag, displacement of the inner bag relative to the outer bag is restricted. With such a simple configuration, it is possible to effectively prevent the inner bag from being displaced from its normal position in the outer bag.
- In the above aspect, the string may be removably attached to the inner bag.
- With this configuration, it is possible to easily perform maintenance of the string and replace the string. Further, the bag body can be used with the string removed. In this way, the bag body can be used in a variety of forms.
- In the above aspect, the inner bag may be provided with a loop portion through which the string is to be passed, and the string may be attached to the inner bag by being passed through the loop portion.
- With this configuration, it is possible to easily attach the string to the inner bag or remove the string from the inner bag. Further, no knot is formed at a position at which the string is attached to the inner bag. Thus, it is possible to attach the string to the inner bag without reducing the usability of the bag body.
- In the above aspect, the through-hole of the outer bag may be provided at a position corresponding to a position at which the string is drawn out of the loop portion.
- With this configuration, the root portion of the string that is attached to the inner bag is engaged with the through-hole of the outer bag. Thus, it is possible to effectively prevent the inner bag from being displaced from its normal position in the outer bag.
- In the above aspect, the loop portion may have an outer shape constituting a part of a bag shape of the inner bag.
- With this configuration, the loop portion to which the string is attached does not protrude from the inner bag. Thus, it is possible to attach the string to the inner bag without reducing the usability of the bag body.
- In the above aspect, the loop portion may be provided at a corner of the inner bag.
- The string that forms a protrusion is attached to the corner of the inner bag, where a protrusion is formed in the shape of the inner bag. With the above configuration, the protrusions are formed at the same portions, so that the other portion with no protrusions can be made wide.
- In the above aspect, the loop portion may be formed in a trapezoidal shape that constitutes a corner of a bag shape of the inner bag, and the string may be passed through a space between nonparallel sides of the trapezoidal shape of the loop portion, the nonparallel sides facing each other.

- First, the schematic configuration of a
cushion 1 including abag body 2 according to an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference toFIG. 1 to FIG. 8 . As illustrated inFIG. 1 , thebag body 2 according to the present embodiment is included in thecushion 1 used in, for example, a living room, or a family recreational room. Thecushion 1 is formed as a thick pad having a generally square shape, 135 cm on a side. Thecushion 1 mainly includes thebag body 2, and great many smallexpandable beads 3. Thebag body 2 has high flexibility, and has a double-bag structure including aninner bag 20 and anouter bag 10. Thebag body 2 is filled with theexpandable beads 3. Theexpandable beads 3 have high flowability. Two pieces ofleather string 30 are attached to each of the four corners of thebag body 2 so as to be drawn out of thebag body 2. Theleather strings 30 can be used as tie strings. Note that eachleather string 30 is an example of "string" in the invention. - The
cushion 1 is configured as described above. Thus, when thecushion 1 is entirely spread flat as illustrated inFIG. 1 , thecushion 1 can be used as a support for a user who lies and relaxes thereon. In addition, thecushion 1 can take a variety of forms when used, as will be described below. - When any two adjacent corners of the
cushion 1 are brought close to each other and then theleather strings 30 attached to the two adjacent corners are tied together, the thickness of a portion on one side of thecushion 1, which is near the region where theleather strings 30 are tied together, is increased, so that thecushion 1 takes the form of a tilting-table shape as a whole, as illustrated inFIG. 2 . Thus, a user can lean against thecushion 1. In addition, when the remaining two corners of thecushion 1 are brought close to each other and then theleather strings 30 attached to the remaining two corners are also tied together, the thickness of a portion on the other side of thecushion 1, which is near the region where theleather strings 30 attached to the remaining two corners are tied together, is also increased, so that thecushion 1 takes the form of a beanbag shape having a generally cubic shape as a whole, as illustrated inFIG. 3 . In this way, a user can enjoy using thecushion 1 as an attractive piece of furniture by changing the form of thecushion 1 to a beanbag shape. Further, thecushion 1 can be used as a beanbag chair on which a user is seated. - The
cushion 1 can take a variety of forms, as illustrated inFIGs. 1 to 3 . In each of the states illustrated inFIGs. 1 to 3 , a wide portion of thecushion 1 is brought into surface-contact with a floor by flexibly bending thebag body 2 or causing theexpandable beads 3 to flow in thebag body 2 in accordance with the shape of the floor. As a result, thecushion 1 takes a form that allows itself to be self-standing on the floor. Thecushion 1 can take a variety of forms, as described above. In each of the states described above, thecushion 1 gently conforms to and supports the body of a user who lies on thecushion 1, while giving the user a sense of comfort. - Specifically, the
cushion 1 can support a user while giving the user a sense of comfort, because thecushion 1 has flexibility high enough to flexibly bend upon reception of body pressure from the user while having a relatively low stretching property. Thus, when a user is seated on thecushion 1, excessive stretching of thecushion 1, which would cause the body of the user to sink to a position very close to the floor, does not occur. Further, theexpandable beads 3 have flowability high enough to flexibly flow upon reception of body pressure from a user, and thebag body 2 is filled with theexpandable beads 3 at such a density that the body of the user does not sink to a position very close to the floor. With this configuration, thecushion 1 gently conforms to and supports the body of a user who lies on thecushion 1, while giving the user a sense of comfort. - As illustrated in
FIG. 4 , thebag body 2 has a double-bag structure including theinner bag 20 and theouter bag 10. Theinner bag 20 has a generally square shape, and is filled with theexpandable beads 3. Theouter bag 10 has a generally square shape, and covers theinner bag 20 from outside. The leather strings 30 attached to the four corners of thebag body 2, more specifically, the leather strings 30 attached to the four corners of theinner bag 20, are passed outward through through-holes 15 formed at the four corners of theouter bag 10, so that the leather strings 30 are drawn out of thebag body 2. More specifically, the leather strings 30 are attached to the four corners of theinner bag 20 just by being passed throughloop portions 25 provided at the four corners of theinner bag 20. When both end portions of each of the leather strings 30 passed through theloop portions 25 are passed outward through the corresponding through-holes 15 of theouter bag 10, the leather strings 30 are drawn out of the four corners of theouter bag 10. - In each
leather string 30 drawn out of thebag body 2 as described above, folded-back portions on the root side of theleather string 30, where theleather string 30 is passed through theloop portion 25, are passed through the through-hole 15 of theouter bag 10 while being shrunk in the through-hole 15 against their elastic resilience. With this configuration, eachleather string 30 is held at an appropriate position by sliding frictional resistance due to the contact between theleather string 30 and a peripheral surface of the through-hole 15 of theouter bag 10. Thus, the end portions of eachleather string 30, which are drawn out of theouter bag 10, are prevented from being drawn into the through-hole 15 of theouter bag 10 under the weight of theinner bag 20, and are also prevented from being drawn into and slipping out of theloop portion 25 under the weight of theinner bag 20. - Next, the configuration of each portion of the
bag body 2 will be described in detail. First, the configuration of theouter bag 10 will be described. As illustrated inFIG. 1 to FIG. 6 , theouter bag 10 is formed by sewing outer peripheral portions (sewn portions 13) of a firstouter cover piece 11 and a secondouter cover piece 12 together to form a single bag-shape. The firstouter cover piece 11 has a generally square shape, and is made of fabric. The secondouter cover piece 12 has a generally square shape, and is made of leather. The firstouter cover piece 11 and the secondouter cover piece 12 are sewn together in the following manner. At three sides of a square shape formed by aligning the outer peripheral portions of the firstouter cover piece 11 and the secondouter cover piece 12 with each other, the firstouter cover piece 11 and the secondouter cover piece 12 are directly sewn together. On the other hand, at the remaining one side of the square shape, the firstouter cover piece 11 and the secondouter cover piece 12 are sewn together via aslide fastener 14. With this configuration, theouter bag 10 can be opened or closed at the one side by opening or closing theslide fastener 14. - When the
outer bag 10 is opened at the one side by opening theslide fastener 14, it is possible to easily place theinner bag 20 into theouter bag 10 through the opening or take theinner bag 20 out of theouter bag 10 through the opening. First, theslide fastener 14 is sewn to the firstouter cover piece 11 and the secondouter cover piece 12, and then the firstouter cover piece 11 and the secondouter cover piece 12 are sewn together at the three sides of the square shape in a state where theouter bag 10 is wholly turned inside out. When theouter bag 10 is turned front side (right side) out through the opening formed by theslide fastener 14 after the sewing is performed at the three sides of the square shape, seams of the sewnportions 13 are hidden inside theouter bag 10. - The through-
holes 15 are formed at the four corners of theouter bag 10 such that the four corners have a chamfered shape. The through-holes 15 are formed in the following manner. The four corners of the firstouter cover piece 11 and the four the secondouter cover piece 12 are folded and sewn to their own back sides such that the four corners have a chamfered shape. The folded corner portions of the firstouter cover piece 11 and the folded corner portions of the secondouter cover piece 12 are not sewn together when the sewnportions 13 are formed, so that an opening is left at each corner. In this way, the through-holes 15 are formed as through-holes that provide communication between the inside and outside of theouter bag 10. Each through-hole 15 is formed to have such an opening width that two pieces ofleather string 30 can be smoothly passed therethrough. - The
inner bag 20 is formed by sewing outer peripheral portions (sewn portions 23) of a firstinner cover piece 21 and a secondinner cover piece 22 together to form a single bag-shape. The firstinner cover piece 21 has a generally square shape, and is made of non-woven fabric. The secondinner cover piece 22 has a generally square shape, and is made of non-woven fabric. The firstinner cover piece 21 and the secondinner cover piece 22 are sewn together in the following manner. At three sides of a square shape formed by aligning the outer peripheral portions of the firstinner cover piece 21 and the secondinner cover piece 22 with each other, the firstinner cover piece 21 and the secondinner cover piece 22 are directly sewn together. On the other hand, at the remaining one side of the square shape, the firstinner cover piece 21 and the secondinner cover piece 22 are sewn together via aslide fastener 24. With this configuration, theinner bag 20 can be opened or closed at the one side by opening or closing theslide fastener 24. - When the
inner bag 20 is opened at the one side by opening theslide fastener 24, it is possible to easily charge theexpandable beads 3 into theinner bag 20 through the opening or take theexpandable beads 3 out of theinner bag 20 through the opening. First, theslide fastener 24 is sewn to the firstinner cover piece 21 and the secondinner cover piece 22, and then the firstinner cover piece 21 and the secondinner cover piece 22 are sewn together at the three sides of the square shape in a state where theinner bag 20 is wholly turned inside out. When theinner bag 20 is turned front side (right side) out through the opening formed by theslide fastener 24 after the sewing is performed at the three sides of the square shape, seams of the sewnportions 23 are hidden inside theinner bag 20. - Each
loop portion 25 is formed by folding a single leather piece into two such that theloop portion 25 has a trapezoidal shape. Each of the four corners of theinner bag 20 is held, from the front side and back side, by theloop portion 25, and is sewn to the loop portion 25 (sewnportions 25B). As illustrated inFIG. 7 , eachloop portion 25 is formed from a single flat piece that is cut into such a shape that the trapezoidal shape formed by folding the single flat piece into two conforms to the shape of each of the four corners of theinner bag 20. More specifically, eachloop portion 25 is formed from a single flat piece that is cut into such a shape that two trapezoidal shapes connected at the shorter base side are obtained by folding the single flat piece into two. - The leather piece is folded into two such that the
loop portion 25 has a trapezoidal shape that conforms to each corner of theinner bag 20. Then, theloop portion 25 is set so as to hold the firstinner cover piece 21 and the secondinner cover piece 22 from the front side and back side. Each of the four corners of theinner bag 20 is provided with theloop portion 25. Then, root portions of theloop portions 25 that hold the four corners of theinner bag 20 are sewn to the inner bag 20 (sewnportions 25B). In this way, theloop portions 25 are attached to theinner bag 20. With this attachment, theloop portions 25 are turned into a shape that conforms to each of the four corners of theinner bag 20, so that theloop portions 25 constitute the shapes of the four corners of theinner bag 20. Eachloop portion 25 is formed into a looped shape, so that theleather string 30 can be passed through a space betweennonparallel sides 25A of the trapezoidal portions facing each other. - The leather strings 30 are attached to the
loop portions 25 having the above-described configuration, in the following manner. As illustrated inFIG. 8 , eachleather string 30 is passed through theloop portion 25 from one opening formed between the nonparallel sides of the trapezoidal portions facing each other to the other opening formed between the nonparallel sides of the trapezoidal portions facing each other. Thus, a middle portion of theleather string 30 is caught on theloop portion 25, so that theleather string 30 is attached to theloop portion 25. As illustrated inFIG. 4 , after theinner bag 20 is placed inside theouter bag 10, both end portions of eachleather string 30 passed through theloop portion 25 are passed outward through a corresponding one of the through-holes 15 formed at the four corners of theouter bag 10. In this way, the both end potions of each of the leather strings 30 are drawn out of a corresponding one of the four corners of theouter bag 10. - The
loop portions 25 of theinner bag 20 through which the leather strings 30 are passed, and the through-holes 15 of theouter bag 10 are provided at the four corners of theinner bag 20 and the four corners of theouter bag 10, which are aligned with each other. Thus, eachleather string 30 is passed outward through the through-hole 15 of theouter bag 10 while the length of a portion of theleather string 30 drawn from theloop portion 25 out of the through-hole 15 is kept short. Thus, in eachleather string 30, the folded-back portions on the root side of theleather string 30, where theleather string 30 is passed through theloop portion 25, are held in the through-hole 15 of theouter bag 10 while being shrunk in the through-hole 15 against their elastic resilience. With this configuration, eachleather string 30 is held at an appropriate position by sliding frictional resistance due to the contact between theleather string 30 and the peripheral surface of the through-hole 15 of theouter bag 10. Thus, the end portions of eachleather string 30 are prevented from being drawn into the through-hole 15 of theouter bag 10. - As described above, the leather strings 30 passed through the four corners of the
inner bag 20 are passed outward through the through-holes 15 formed at the four corners of theouter bag 10, so that the leather strings 30 are held at their appropriate positions. Thus, the four corners of theouter bag 10 are engaged with the four corners of theinner bag 20 via the leather strings 30. Thus, it is possible to effectively prevent theinner bag 20 from being displaced from its normal position in theouter bag 10, so that the degree of comfort provided by thecushion 1 is maintained at an appropriate level. In some cases, some sort of external force is applied to thebag body 2, theinner bag 20 is displaced from its normal position or sinks in theouter bag 10, and thus some of the leather strings 30 are drawn into the through-holes 15 of theouter bag 10. Even in this case, the four corners of theinner bag 20 can be located at the four corners of theouter bag 10 again through an operation of pulling the leather strings 30 out of the through-holes 15 again. With such an easy operation, the displacement of theinner bag 20 can be easily eliminated. Then, the form of thecushion 1 can be easily adjusted or changed by pulling or tying the leather strings 30. - The above description can be summarized as follows. The
bag body 2 according to the present embodiment has the following configuration. Thebag body 2 has a double-bag structure including theinner bag 20 and theouter bag 10. Thebag body 2 includes strings (leather strings 30) attached to theinner bag 20, and through-holes 15 formed in theouter bag 10. The strings (leather strings 30) are drawn out of theouter bag 10 through the through-holes 15. With this configuration, when the strings (leather strings 30) attached to theinner bag 20 are passed through the through-holes 15 of theouter bag 10, displacement of theinner bag 20 relative to theouter bag 10 is restricted. With such a simple configuration, it is possible to effectively prevent theinner bag 20 from being displaced from its normal position in theouter bag 10. - Further, the strings (leather strings 30) are removably attached to the
inner bag 20. With this configuration, it is possible to easily perform maintenance of the strings (leather strings 30) and replace the strings (leather strings 30). Further, thebag body 2 can be used with the strings (leather strings 30) removed. In this way, thebag body 2 can be used in a variety of forms. - The
inner bag 20 is provided with theloop portions 25 through which the strings (leather strings 30) can be passed. The strings (leather strings 30) are attached to theinner bag 20 by being passed through theloop portions 25. With this configuration, it is possible to easily attach the strings (leather strings 30) to theinner bag 20 or remove the strings (leather strings 30) from theinner bag 20. Further, no knots are formed at positions at which the strings (leather strings 30) are attached to theinner bag 20. Thus, it is possible to attach the strings (leather strings 30) to theinner bag 20 without reducing the usability of thebag body 2. - The through-
holes 15 of theouter bag 10 are formed at positions corresponding to the positions at which the strings (leather strings 30) are drawn out of theloop portions 25. With this configuration, the root portions of the strings (leather strings 30) that are attached to theinner bag 20 are engaged with the through-holes 15 of theouter bag 10. Thus, it is possible to effectively prevent theinner bag 20 from being displaced from its normal position in theouter bag 10. - Each
loop portion 25 has an outer shape constituting (serves also as) a part of the bag shape (generally square bag shape) of theinner bag 20. With this configuration, theloop portions 25 to which the strings (leather strings 30) are attached do not protrude from theinner bag 20. Thus, it is possible to attach the strings (leather strings 30) to theinner bag 20 without reducing the usability of thebag body 2. - The
loop portions 25 are provided at the corners of theinner bag 20. The strings (leather strings 30) that form protrusions are attached to the corners of theinner bag 20, where protrusions are formed in the shape of theinner bag 20. The protrusions are formed at the same portions, so that the other portion with no protrusions can be made wide. - Each
loop portion 25 is formed in a trapezoidal shape that constitutes the corner of the bag shape of theinner bag 20, and the string (leather string 30) is passed through a space between thenonparallel sides 25A of the trapezoidal shape of theloop portion 25, which face each other. With this configuration, it is possible to easily pass the string (leather string 30) through theloop portion 25 provided so as to cross a portion of theinner bag 20, where there is an angular portion. - The both end portions of each string (leather string 30) passed through the
loop portion 25 are drawn outward through any one of the through-holes 15 formed in theouter bag 10. With this configuration, by drawing the both end portions of each of the strings (leather strings 30) out of theouter bag 10, the strings (leather strings 30) can be maintained, without tying the strings (leather strings 30) together, in such a form that the strings (leather strings 30) do not easily slip out of theloop portions 25. - The
bag body 2 is configured such that theouter bag 10 and theinner bag 20 are formed in the same rectangular shape (generally square shape), and the strings (leather strings 30) are attached to the corners of theinner bag 20 and drawn outward through the through-holes 15 formed at the corners of theouter bag 10. With this configuration, between the corners of theinner bag 20 and the corners of theouter bag 10, where theinner bag 20 and theouter bag 10 are easily engaged with each other, that is, where displacement of theinner bag 20 relative to theouter bag 10 does not easily occur, the strings (leather strings 30) can be placed in such a manner that the directions in which the strings (leather strings 30) are pulled coincide with the directions in which the comers of theinner bag 20 are engaged with the corners of theouter bag 10. Thus, it is possible to easily and smoothly eliminate displacement of theinner bag 20 from its normal position in theouter bag 10, through an operation of pulling the strings (leather strings 30). - While one example embodiment of the invention has been described above, the invention may be implemented in various other embodiments. For example, the bag body according to the invention may be applied to, instead of the cushion as described in the foregoing embodiment, various other components having a double-bag structure including an inner bag and an outer bag, such as covers for seats or interior trims used in vehicles such as automobiles, and covers for various kinds of furniture and interior, such as sofas and beds. The stuffing covered with the bag body may be, instead of expandable beads, soft materials such as cotton and urethane, or hard structures, such as panels and frames.
- The shape of the bag body should not be limited to a generally square shape as described in the foregoing embodiment. For example, bag bodies having various shapes, such as a polygonal shape other than a square shape, and a circular shape, may be employed. Further, an inner bag and an outer bag may have different shapes. The materials of an inner bag and an outer bag should not be limited to fabric, non-woven fabric, and leather described in the foregoing embodiment, and various kinds of materials may be used. Further, an inner bag and an outer bag may be made of different materials. The materials of the strings attached to the inner bag should not be limited to leather, and various kinds of materials, such as fabric, may be used.
- The strings may be attached so as to be integral with the inner bag through, for example, sewing. Further, the strings may be removably attached to the inner bag using removable connecting members, such as buttons or hook-and-loop fasteners, instead of being removably attached to the inner bag by being passed through the loop portions provided on the inner bag. The strings may be attached to various portions of the inner bag, such as a central surface and outer peripheral surfaces, instead of the corners of the inner bag.
- The string needs to be attached to at least one portion of the inner bag, and the strings may be attached to two or more portions of the inner bag. When the strings are attached to the inner bag by being passed through the loop portions, one end portion and the other end portion of one string may be drawn outward through different through-holes formed in the outer bag. Each string may be in the form of a strip having a thin-plate-shaped cross-section. Each string may be in various kinds of cross-sectional shapes, such as a circular shape, and a hollow cross-sectional shape. The through-holes formed in the outer bag may have various shapes.
- Each loop portion need not be provided so as to constitute a part of the bag shape of the inner bag. Each loop portion may be externally attached to the inner bag so as to protrude from the inner bag. Each loop portion need not be formed by folding a flat material into two and then attaching it to the inner bag such that a looped shape is formed. As a loop portion, a member having a looped section through which a string can be passed may be attached to the inner bag. Each loop portion may be formed by forming a hole, through which a string can be passed, in a part of the inner bag. The direction in which the string is passed through the loop portion is either the inward direction or the outward direction of the bag surface of the inner bag, and may be set to any directions.
- In the foregoing embodiment, the slide fastener is attached to each of the outer bag and the inner bag, so that stuffing can be charged into the bag body or taken out from the bag body. Alternatively, openings that can be opened and closed may be formed by buttons or hook-and-loop fasteners. Each of the outer bag and the inner bag need not have an opening, and may be closed through sewing.
