Description
- The present invention relates to a sleeve for a switch with button used in white goods, furniture, automotive, electric and electronic sectors.
- Today, buttons are placed on the devices used in white good sector in order to give command to the said devices by the user. These buttons are placed on the devices via sleeves. Buttons attached to a devices used today do not stay on the center; they stay hanging downwards in the opening inside the slot. Buttons attached to the devices lean downwards since they cannot remain in the center due to gravity in the working space inside the slot, and this situation harm quality perception and appearance of the devices. Buttons attached to the devices do not remain in the center in the sleeves used today.

EP0798753 , an application known in the state of the art, discloses a button assembly. The said button assembly comprises a button mounted inside a slot. The said button is turned and brought to a second position, and the button is prevented from moving inside the slot in this position. - International Patent document no

EP 2 624 674 A1 discloses a sleeve according to the preamble of claim 1. - The objective of the present invention is to provide a sleeve for a switch with button for enabling the buttons and the switch to be in the center in the sleeve.

- The sleeve (1) for a switch with button for enabling the button and the switch to remain in the center of the sleeve (1) essentially comprises
- at least one body (2),
- at least one protrusion (3) which is located at one end of the body (2), and the diameter of which is a little larger than the diameter of the body (2), and which has a certain wall thickness,
- at least one thread (4) which is located on the body (2) close to the protrusion (3) and which is formed around the body (2),
- at least one nut (5) which is mounted on the body (2) by being rotated around itself via the thread (4), and enables the body (2) to remain fixed where it is located,
- at least one holder (6) which enables the button inserted inside the body (2) to be held right in the center of the body (2),
- at least one opening (7) for LEDs which is preferably four of them around the body (2) and for enabling the button to be lightened by means of the LEDs placed therein,
- at least one tab (8) which is located on the other end of the body (2) where the protrusion (3) is not located, and which is formed on this area for which a placed part is not removed as long as it is preferred,
- at least one hole (9) which is located at the bottom of the other end of the body (2) where the protrusion (3) is not present, for helping a part around the body (2) to hold on to the body (2) via a bolt located therein.
- In the sleeve (1) present in one embodiment of the invention the protrusion (3) is provided at one end of the body (2). The diameter of the protrusion (3) is a little larger than the diameter of the body (2). By this means, the body (2) is prevented from going into the slot when the body (2) is fitted into its slot on the device. The thread (4) is provided on the body (2) close to the protrusion (3). The nut (5) is placed to the said thread (4) by being rotated around its own axis. When the nut (5) is preferably rotated clockwise, it moves in direction of the protrusion (3); when it is rotated counter clockwise around its own axis, it is moved in opposite direction of the protrusion (3). The nut (5) enables the body (2) to be fixed in the slot present on the device in case it is tightened till the end in direction of the protrusion (3) on the thread (4). There are preferably four holders (6) on the body (2). These holders (6) are for enabling a switch with button placed inside the body (2) to remain right in the center of the body (2) and preventing the switch with button from going out of the center of the body (2) in any way after the body (2) is placed into the slot on the device. An opening (7) for LEDs is provided on the body (2) on a farther area relative to the holder (6). By means of these LEDs placed into the opening (7), the button can be lightened. Preferably two tabs (8) are provided on the area where the other end of the body (2) without the protrusion (3) is located. The said tabs (8) are for enabling the parts located thereon to be positioned here as long as it is preferred. In case the part mounted to the tabs (8) is preferred to be removed from there, a force is applied on the tabs (8) and the tabs (8) enable the part to be released. The holes (9) are located on the body (2) on the lower part of the tabs (8) for which the other parts provided around the body (2) are enabled to hold on to the body (2) via the bolts placed inside the said holes (9).
Claims (6)
- A sleeve (1) for a switch with button for enabling the button and switch to remain in the center of the sleeve (1) comprising- at least one body (2),- at least one protrusion (3) which is located at one end of the body (2), and the diameter of which is a little larger than the diameter of the body (2),- at least one thread (4) which is located on the body (2) close to the protrusion (3) and which is formed around the body (2),- at least one nut (5) which is mounted on the body (2) by being rotated around itself via the thread (4), and enables the body (2) to remain fixed where it is located,- at least one tab (8) which is located on the other end of the body (2) where the protrusion (3) is not located, and which is formed on this area for which a placed part is not removed as long as it is preferred and characterized by- at least one opening (7) for LEDs which is provided on the body (2) on a farther area relative to the holder (6), enables the button to be lightened by means of these LEDs placed into said opening (7),- at least one holder (6) on the body (2) for enabling the button inserted inside the body (2) to be held right in the center of the body (2),- at least one hole (9) which is located at a bottom of the other end of the body (2) where the protrusion (3) is not present for helping a part around the body (2) to hold on to the body (2) via a bolt located therein, is on the lower part of the tab (8) on the body (2), and enables the part around the body (2) to hold on to the body (2) via the bolt placed therein.
- A sleeve (1) according to any one of the preceding claims comprising the protrusion (3) for preventing the body (2) from going into a slot when the body (2) is fitted into the slot on a device.
- A sleeve (1) according to any one of the preceding claims comprising the thread (4) which is located on the body (2) close to the protrusion (3) and where the nut (5) is placed by rotating the nut (5) around its own axis.
- A sleeve (1) according to any one of the preceding claims comprising the nut (5) which is movable in direction of the protrusion (3) when it is preferably rotated clockwise, and which is movable in opposite direction of the protrusion (3) when it is rotated around its own axis counter clockwise.
- A sleeve (1) according to any one of the preceding claims comprising nut (5) which enables the body (2) to be fixed in the slot present on the device in case it is tightened till the end in direction of the protrusion (3) on the thread (4).
- A sleeve (1) according to any one of the preceding claims comprising the holder (6) which is preferably four of them on the body (2) and for preventing the button from going out of the center of the body (2) in any way after the body (2) is placed into a slot of a device.
