  • La présente invention se rapporte au domaine des surmatelas qui sont généralement associés aux matelas pour améliorer le confort de sommeil de l'utilisateur et pour assurer une protection du matelas.
    • Etat de la technique
  • Le document US 5 007 123 divulgue un revêtement flexible à associer à un matelas pour réduire la transmission de vapeur de l'utilisateur du matelas à ce dernier, et formant un surmatelas. Ce surmatelas comprend des revêtements extérieur et intérieur qui forment respectivement des premier et second obstacles contre l'humidité / la vapeur / les bactéries susceptibles de parvenir au matelas.
  • Au sein de ce surmatelas, les revêtements interne et externe sont formés de matériaux ayant une flexibilité suffisante pour réduire en outre les pressions tissulaires qui provoquent la formation d'escarres sur le corps d'un patient.
    Le matériau des revêtements extérieur et intérieur comprend des matériaux tissés et/ou non-tissés définissant une transmission de vapeur de moins de 10,7 grammes par heure et par mètre carré.
  • Si la constitution de ce surmatelas a été étudiée pour diminuer la contamination du matelas et donne une relative satisfaction, elle ne l'a pas été pour permettre de suivre les recommandations en vigueur qui disposent de pouvoir retourner le surmatelas périodiquement.
  • Au contraire, un retournement simple du surmatelas selon ce document, placerait le revêtement interne le moins confortable pour l'utilisateur, juste au contact de celui-ci, ce qui n'est pas souhaitable. D'autres dispositifs formant surmatelas de ce type sont connus de US5428852 A , US5530978 A , US2009113635 A1 et US2014068868 A1 .
    • Buts de l'invention
  • La présente invention vise à fournir un surmatelas présentant les avantages des surmatelas bicouche et pouvant répondre aux exigences en vigueur en matière de retournement sans diminuer le confort ressenti par l'utilisateur.
    • Résumé de l'invention
  • La présente invention porte sur un dispositif formant surmatelas, comprenant une couche externe de confort et une couche interne fonctionnelle destinée à se retrouver entre la couche externe de confort et le matelas, les deux couches étant solidarisées l'une à l'autre de façon amovible, la couche externe comprenant des moyens de fixation réversible et la couche interne comprenant au moins un jeu de moyens de fixation réversible complémentaires prévu de façon à pouvoir fixer par l'une ou l'autre de ses deux faces opposées, la couche interne à la couche externe, afin d'autoriser un retournement périodique du surmatelas en garantissant que la couche externe de confort soit au contact de l'utilisateur quel que soit le sens du surmatelas.
  • Selon des modes préférés de l'invention, le dispositif peut comprendre au moins une, ou une combinaison quelconque appropriée, des caractéristiques suivantes :
    • de la couche interne comprend deux jeux de moyens de fixation complémentaires, prévus sur deux parties opposées de la couche interne.

    • chaque couche interne et externe est pourvue de moyens de fixation bord à bord à respectivement une couche interne et une couche externe pourvue de moyens de fixation bord à bord.
    • la couche interne est constituée principalement de plume et la couche externe est principalement constituée de duvet.
    • la couche externe est constituée de 70 à 90% de duvet et 10 à 30% de plume, la couche interne est constituée de 70 à 100% de plume.
    • la couche interne comprend un unique jeu moyens de fixation complémentaires prévu sur son bord frontal périphérique par exemple à mi-hauteur et les moyens de fixation de la couche externe sont conformés pour pouvoir y être fixés lorsque la couche externe est au contact de l'une des deux grandes faces de la couche interne
    • ou bien la couche interne comporte deux jeux de fixations et les 4 bords de la couche externe peuvent y être fixés.

  • La figure 1 est une vue en perspective du surmatelas selon l'invention disposé sur un matelas.
  • La figure 2 est une représentation en perspective agrandie du surmatelas de la figure 1 mettant en évidence les couches interne et externe de ce surmatelas et leurs jeux de fixation complémentaires.
  • La figure 3 est une vue de côté du surmatelas de la figure 2 dans laquelle la couche interne du matelas est retournée et surélevée afin de montrer un élément du jeu de fixation inférieur et un élément du jeu de fixation supérieur dont est pourvue cette couche interne.
    • Description détaillée de l'invention
  • Conformément à la figure 1, l'invention concerne un surmatelas 1 à poser sur un matelas 2 d'un lit 3, pour en améliorer le confort, la protection et le prestige.
  • Le surmatelas selon l'invention 1 comprend une couche externe de confort 6 et une couche interne fonctionnelle 7 destinée à se retrouver entre la couche externe de confort 6 et le matelas 2.
  • La couche interne 7 est constituée principalement de plume et la couche externe est principalement constituée de duvet et de préférence la couche externe est constituée de 70 à 90% de duvet et 10 à 30% de plume, la couche interne est constituée de 70 à 100% de plumes.
  • Afin de permettre une certaine modularité dans l'utilisation du surmatelas, les deux couches interne et externe sont solidarisées l'une à l'autre de façon amovible, grâce à des moyens de fixation réversible qui sont constitués, dans l'exemple illustré, de boutons pression 8. Ainsi, la couche externe 6 est pourvue de boutons pression dont la partie active débouche sur sa face inférieure 9 le long de son bord périphérique 10, et la partie inactive est visible depuis la face supérieure 11. La couche interne 7 comprend sur sa face supérieure 13 et le long de son bord périphérique, un premier jeu de boutons pression complémentaires 8'.
  • Selon l'invention, et conformément aux figures 2 et 3, afin de pouvoir fixer la couche externe 6 sur l'une ou l'autre des deux faces opposées 13, 14 de la couche interne 7, et d'autoriser un retournement périodique du surmatelas en garantissant que la couche externe de confort soit au contact de l'utilisateur quel que soit le sens du surmatelas, la couche interne comprend également sur sa face inférieure 14 et le long de son bord périphérique, un deuxième jeu de boutons pression complémentaires 8".
  • Il sera ainsi possible d'utiliser la couche interne avec sa face 13 située en partie haute et sa face 14 située en partie basse, en fixant sur la face 13 alors supérieure, la couche externe, puis, quelques semaines après une utilisation du surmatelas dans ce sens, désolidariser la couche externe 6 de la couche interne 7, retourner la couche interne 7 pour disposer sa face 14 en partie haute et sa face 13 située en partie basse, en fixant sur la face 14 alors supérieure, la couche externe 6 conformément à la figure 3, grâce au deuxième jeu de fixation complémentaire 8".
  • Selon un mode de réalisation non représenté, la couche externe peut être pourvue de également de deux jeux de moyens de fixation sur ses deux faces opposées. Par exemple, les boutons pression 8 peuvent être pourvus de deux parties actives débouchant respectivement sur ses deux faces opposées.
  • Egalement, d'autres types de moyens de fixation et moyens de fixations complémentaires peuvent être prévus, tels que des boutons, des rubans, des fermetures à glissière, des bandes velcro, et/ou des clips.
  • Par ailleurs, les moyens de fixation complémentaires prévus sur la couche interne 7 peuvent être, selon un mode de réalisation non représenté, non pas disposés sur ses faces opposées, mais en partie haute et partie basse de ses bords frontaux 16.
  • Il est en outre possible de ne prévoir qu'un jeu de fixation complémentaire sur la couche interne qui serait disposé sur cette couche interne de façon à être accessible aux moyens de fixation de la couche externe qu'elle soit disposée au contact de l'une ou l'autre des deux faces de la couche interne. Par exemple, l'unique jeu de fixation complémentaire peut comprendre des éléments s'étendant sur le bord frontal 16 de la couche interne, à mi-hauteur, et la couche externe pourra comprendre des moyens de fixation suffisamment longs pour être fixés à ces éléments à mi-hauteur du/des bords frontaux 16, ou comprendre un pourtour non représenté retombant sur ce/ces bords frontal/aux 16 et pourvu des moyens de fixation.
  • Afin d'augmenter encore la modularité de ce surmatelas, il est possible que chaque couche interne et externe soit pourvue de moyens de fixation bord à bord à respectivement une couche interne et une couche externe supplémentaires pourvue de moyens de fixation bord à bord complémentaire. L'on pourra ainsi adapter le nombre de couches externe et interne à assembler bord à bord aux dimensions du matelas à recouvrir.

Claims (7)

  1. Dispositif formant surmatelas bicouche, comprenant une couche externe de confort et une couche interne fonctionnelle destinée à se retrouver entre la couche externe de confort et le matelas, la couche interne (7) est constituée principalement de plume et la couche externe est principalement constituée de duvet (6), les deux couches (6, 7) étant solidarisées l'une à l'autre de façon amovible, la couche externe (6) comprenant des moyens de fixation réversible (8) et la couche interne (7) comprenant deux jeux de moyens de fixation complémentaires (8', 8"), prévus sur deux parties opposées de la couche interne (7) prévus de façon à pouvoir fixer par l'une ou l'autre de ses deux faces opposées (13, 14) la couche interne (7) à la couche externe (6), afin d'autoriser un retournement périodique du surmatelas en garantissant que la couche externe (6) de confort soit au contact de l'utilisateur quel que soit le sens du surmatelas.
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, dans lequel les deux jeux de moyens de fixation complémentaire (8', 8") sont prévus sur les deux grandes faces opposées (13, 14) de la couche interne.
  3. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel les deux jeux de moyens de fixation complémentaire (8', 8") sont prévus à proximité du bord périphérique des deux grandes faces opposées de la couche interne.
  4. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel les moyens de fixation complémentaire (8', 8") comprennent des boutons, des boutons pression, des rubans, des fermetures à glissière, des bandes velcro, et/ou des clips.
  5. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel chaque couche interne et externe (6, 7) est pourvue de moyens de fixation bord à bord à respectivement une couche interne et une couche externe pourvue de moyens de fixation bord à bord.
  6. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la couche interne (7) est constituée de 70 à 90% de duvet et 10 à 30% de plume, la couche externe (6) est constituée de 70 à 100% de plume.
  7. Ensemble de literie comprenant le surmatelas selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, et un matelas sur lequel repose le surmatelas avec sa couche interne interposée entre la couche externe et le matelas.
