Abstract

L'invention concerne un environnement d'expérience unifié supportant des mécanismes qui collectent et utilisent des métadonnées contextuelles afin d'associer des informations en fonction de leur pertinence vis-à-vis d'un contexte actuel de l'utilisateur. Un collecteur de données ambiantes obtient des informations contextuelles et d'activité coïncidant avec la création, la modification ou la consommation de données par l'utilisateur et les associe à ces données en tant que métadonnées contextuelles. Un générateur de contexte qui utilise des métadonnées contextuelles pour identifier des relations entre des données et activer la présentation proactive de données pertinentes pour un contexte actuel de l'utilisateur. La présentation proactive comprend un panneau de contexte qui peut être affiché et caché alternativement indépendamment de l'application et un fil d'activité unifié qui comprend des regroupements de données corrélées identifiés par des moteurs de corrélation, incluant un moteur de corrélation inter-application universel et des moteurs de corrélation spécifiques à l'application individuels qui échangent des informations par l'intermédiaire d'interfaces de corrélation de données. Le panneau de contexte et le fil d'activité unifié permettent à des utilisateurs d'accéder plus efficacement à des données et d'augmenter leur performance d'interaction avec un dispositif informatique.
