Die US 1 358 640 A1 offenbart einen Stuhl, wobei das Kopplungselement ein Stützelement mit einer Außenfläche mit kugelförmig ausgebildeten Abschnitten Aufweist. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen demgegenüber konstruktiv einfacheren Stuhl zu schaffen, dessen Zusammenbau gegenüber den bekannten Stühlen vereinfacht ist. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist der erfindungsgemäße Stuhl dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass

  • das Stützelement zwei entlang einer ersten Achse ausgerichtete Achszapfen und zwei weitere Achszapfen enthält, die entlang einer die erste Achse rechtwinklig schneidenden zweiten Achse ausgerichtet sind,
  • das Stützelement und die Achszapfen verschwenkbar in zwei sich gegenüberliegenden Halbschalen, die jeweils halbkugelförmig gestaltete Innenflächen aufweisen, gelagert ist, und
  • die Achszapfen unter Zwischenschaltung von elastischen Elementen als Achslager in den beiden Halbschalen gelagert sind.
