Claims (2)

  1. Procédé de fonctionnement d'un appareil électroménager (1) comprenant une carcasse (2) ; un tambour à linge rotatif (3), qui accueille du linge à sécher, et est monté pour tourner autour de son axe longitudinal (L) ; un moyen de production d'air chaud (5) destiné à faire circuler un courant d'air chaud à l'intérieur du tambour à linge (3) ; et un moyen d'entraînement électrique (7) destiné à faire tourner ledit tambour à linge (3) autour de l'axe longitudinal (L) ; ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : régler un moyen de chauffage électrique (10), destiné à dissiper sous la forme de chaleur une puissance électrique donnée (PE), pour chauffer l'air délivré au tambour à linge (3) jusqu'à une température donnée (t) ; contrôler ledit moyen d'entraînement électrique (7) pour faire tourner ledit tambour à linge (3) dans une première direction de rotation (D1) et basculer dans une deuxième direction de rotation (D2) opposée à ladite première direction de rotation (D1) ; et
    réguler sélectivement la puissance électrique (PE) dissipée en chaleur par le moyen de chauffage électrique (10), de telle sorte que la température (t) de l'air chauffé par ledit moyen de chauffage électrique (10) prenne une première valeur prédéterminée (t1) quand le tambour à linge (3) tourne dans ladite première direction de rotation (D1), ou une deuxième valeur prédéterminée (t2), différente de la première valeur prédéterminée (t1), quand ledit tambour à linge (3) tourne dans ladite deuxième direction de rotation (D2), caractérisé en ce que l'étape consistant à faire tourner ledit tambour à linge (3) dans la première (D1) et la deuxième (D2) direction de rotation comprend une étape consistant à réguler un laps de temps (ΔT1) (ΔT2) pendant lequel le tambour à linge (3) tourne dans la première (D1) et la deuxième (D2) direction de rotation, sur la base d'un programme de séchage de nuit prédéterminé réduisant la vitesse et le bruit sélectionnable par l'utilisateur.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ledit moyen de chauffage électrique (10) comprend au moins deux résistances (15), chacune reliée à une ligne d'alimentation (18) par un dispositif de commutation respectif (19) ; et ladite étape consistant à réguler sélectivement la puissance électrique (PE) dissipée en chaleur par le moyen de chauffage électrique (10) comprend l'étape consistant à fermer/ouvrir sélectivement lesdits dispositifs de commutation (19) pour activer/désactiver les résistances correspondantes (15).
