The general principles defined in the following description would be applied to other embodiments, alternatives, modifications, equivalents, and applications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 to FIG. 7 of the drawings, a light-direction adjustment device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated, wherein the light-direction adjustment device does not need to occupy additional spaces besides the space receiving the light-direction adjustment device while adjusting the light emitting directions of the light-direction adjustment device. Accordingly, the light-direction adjustment device can be utilized within a narrow space. - According to the preferred embodiment of the invention described above, the light-direction adjustment device comprises a
housing 10, alamp body unit 20, alight emitting unit 30, and anadjustment unit 40. - The
housing 10 comprises afirst housing 11, asecond housing 12 and at least twoheat dissipating elements 13, wherein two ends of eachheat dissipating elements 13 are respectively extended to thefirst housing 11 and thesecond housing 12, and aheat exchanging space 131 is formed between each of the two adjacentheat dissipating elements 13. When a temperature inside thehousing 10 is higher than a temperature outside thehousing 10, the air inside thehousing 10 exchanges with the air outside thehousing 10 via theheat exchanging space 131, so that a pressure balance of the interior and the exterior of thehousing 10 is ensured. - It is worth mentioning that the
first housing 11, thesecond housing 12 and each of theheat dissipating elements 13 are integrally formed. - The
housing 10 further forms a first receivingchamber 14 providing a mounting space for theadjustment unit 40, wherein each of theheat exchanging spaces 131 is communicated with the first receivingchamber 14 such that the air inside thehousing 10 exchanges with the air outside thehousing 10 via theheat exchanging space 131. It is understandable that when the light-direction adjustment device is in an assembling status, thehousing 10 is provided to enclose the outer portion of theadjustment unit 40 so as to protect theadjustment unit 40. - Specifically, the
first housing 11 is provided to enclose theadjustment unit 40 and thesecond housing 12 is positioned at an end portion of theadjustment unit 40, wherein thesecond housing 12 faces toward one side portion of the first receivingchamber 14 to form afirst driving surface 15, so that theadjustment unit 40 is able to be moved with respect to thehousing 10 along a trajectory defined by thefirst driving surface 15. - The
lamp body unit 20 comprises afirst positioning element 21 and asecond positioning member 22, wherein thefirst positioning element 21 and thesecond positioning member 22 are spacedly provided to form apositioning groove 23. Thelamp body unit 20 is assembled with thehousing 10, wherein thehousing 10 has at least onefirst mounting hole 101. Thelamp body unit 20 has at least onesecond mounting hole 201, wherein each of the first mountingholes 101 is matched with each of the second mounting holes 201. Thelamp body unit 20 further comprises a first mountingmember 24. When thelamp body unit 20 is assembled with thehousing 10, one end portion of thefirst housing 11 is mounted in thepositioning groove 23. Thefirst positioning element 21 is positioned on an outer side of thefirst housing 11. Thesecond positioning member 22 is positioned on an inner side of thefirst housing 11. The first mountingmember 24 affixes thehousing 10 to thelamp body unit 20 through the first mountinghole 101 and thesecond mounting hole 201. - Furthermore, when the
lamp body unit 20 is assembled with thehousing 10, thelamp body unit 20 and thehousing 10 form the first receivingchamber 14. Theadjustment unit 40 is positioned inside the first receivingchamber 14, wherein thesecond positioning member 22 forms asecond driving surface 25, so that theadjustment unit 40 is able to be moved with respect to thelamp body unit 20 along a trajectory defined by thesecond driving surface 25. - The
second driving surface 25 is in a ring shape forming afirst light channel 251, wherein thefirst light channel 251 is communicated with the first receivingchamber 14, so that the lights generating by thelight emitting unit 30 are radiated to the outside of the light-direction adjustment device through thefirst light channel 251. - According to this preferred embodiment of the invention as shown in
FIG. 5 andFIG. 6 , thesecond driving surface 25 further has apositioning channel 252 and afirst sealing member 253, wherein thefirst sealing member 253 is positioned in thepositioning channel 252, and thefirst sealing member 253 is positioned between theadjustment unit 40 and thesecond driving surface 25. When the light-direction adjustment device is utilized in a high humidity environment, thefirst sealing member 253 can ensure that the moisture outside the light-direction adjustment device cannot enter the inside of the light-direction adjustment device, so that thefirst sealing member 253 can ensure that the light-direction adjustment device has a stable working environment. - It is worth mentioning that the
first sealing member 253 is made of elastic materials, wherein when theadjustment unit 40 is moved along a trajectory defined by thesecond driving surface 25, thefirst sealing member 253 can always ensure that theadjustment unit 40 and thesecond driving surface 25 have no gap therebetween. - Furthermore, an end portion of the
first housing 11 also comprises one ormore blocking elements 111 spacedly and internally arranged, wherein each of the blockingelements 111 has a good flexibility, so that when thefirst housing 11 is provided in thepositioning groove 23 formed by thefirst positioning element 21 and thesecond positioning member 22, each of the blockingelements 111 is facing toward thefirst positioning element 21 such that thefirst housing 11 is able to be affixed in thepositioning groove 23.. - The
light emitting unit 30 comprises alight source 31, which is mounted on theadjustment unit 40, so that an emitting direction of the lights generated by thelight source 31 can be changed with the angle adjustment of theadjustment unit 40. Furthermore, users can easily use the light-direction adjustment device for illumination. It is understandable that the light generated by thelight source 31 can be radiated to the outside of the light-direction adjustment device through thefirst light channel 251. - It is worth mentioning that the
light source 31 is preferably a LED light source in order to improve the life span of the light-direction adjustment device based on reducing a production cost of the light-direction adjustment device, and the light generated by thelight source 31 can have a good lighting effect on the light-direction adjustment device. - The
light emitting unit 30 further comprises aheat dissipating member 32, wherein theheat dissipating member 32 further comprises a mountingsubstrate 321. The mountingsubstrate 321 has a mountingposition 3211, wherein thelight source 31 is mounted at the mountingposition 3211, so that thelight source 31 is mounted on the mountingsubstrate 321 to further ensure thelight source 31 and the mountingsubstrate 321 having a stable positional relationship. - Furthermore, one side portion of the mounting
substrate 321 is extended in a perpendicular direction to form a firstheat dissipating piece 322 and at least two secondheat dissipating pieces 323, wherein the secondheat dissipating pieces 323 are spaced with each other, and a firstheat dissipating cavity 324 is formed between each of the two adjacent secondheat dissipating pieces 323. One side portion of the each of the secondheat dissipating pieces 323 is extended to the firstheat dissipating piece 322 and the other side portion of each of the secondheat dissipating pieces 323 is extended to the mountingsubstrate 321. The firstheat dissipating piece 322 forms a secondheat dissipating cavity 325. - It is understandable that, during assembling the light-direction adjustment device, the first
heat dissipating cavity 324 and the secondheat dissipating cavity 325 are communicated with theheat exchanging space 131 through the first receivingchamber 14. - It is worth mentioning that the mounting
substrate 321, the firstheat dissipating piece 322 and each of the secondheat dissipating pieces 323 are integrally made of aluminum material, so that theheat dissipating member 32 has a good heat dissipating effect and, during the operation of the light-direction adjustment device, the working environment temperature of thelight source 31 will be ensured being not too high, and thus a life span of the light-direction adjustment device is prolonged. - Specifically, during the lighting emission of the
light source 31 mounted on the mountingsubstrate 321, thelight source 31 will also generate a large amount of heat, so that the temperature of the working environment of thelight source 31 is rapidly raised and then the working environment of thelight source 31 has a rapid deterioration. Since theheat dissipating member 32 is made of aluminum material, the large amount of heat generated by thelight source 31 is transmitted to the firstheat dissipating piece 322 and each of the secondheat dissipating pieces 323 through the mountingsubstrate 321. Consequently, the heat is radiated to the outside of the light-direction adjustment device via theheat exchanging space 131 through the firstheat dissipating cavity 324 and the secondheat dissipating cavity 325 so as to ensure an atmospheric pressure balance of the interior and the exterior of the light-direction adjustment device, and thus ensuring that the temperature of the working environment of thelight source 31 of the light-direction adjustment device will not be too high and the life span of the light-direction adjustment device is prolonged. - The adjustment
unit adjustment unit 40 comprises a first drivingmember 41 and asecond driving member 42, wherein the first drivingmember 41 and the second drivingmember 42 are respectively positioned at one end portion of theadjustment unit 40, wherein the first drivingmember 41 and the second drivingmember 42 have stable spatial positions. In other words, when theadjustment unit 40 is moved with respect to thehousing 10 and thelamp body unit 20, the first drivingmember 41 and the second drivingmember 42 is able to move synchronously. In other words, the first drivingmember 41 and the second drivingmember 42 are able to move along a trajectory defined by thefirst driving surface 15 and thesecond driving surface 25. - Specifically, when assembling the light-direction adjustment device, the first driving
member 41 is contacted with thefirst driving surface 15 and the first drivingmember 41 is capable of moving along a trajectory defined by thefirst driving surface 15. Preferably, thefirst driving surface 15 is a lower curved surface. Thesecond driving member 42 is contacted with thesecond driving surface 25 and the second drivingmember 42 is capable of moving along a trajectory defined by thesecond driving surface 25. Preferably, thesecond driving surface 25 is an upper curved surface. - It is worth mentioning that the direction of the
lamp body unit 20 is defined as the lower direction and the direction of thehousing 10 is defined as the upper direction. It is understandable that the lower curved surface formed by thefirst driving surface 15 is facing toward thelamp body unit 20 and the upper curved surface formed by thesecond driving surface 25 is facing toward thehousing 10. - The mounting
substrate 321 has at least athird mounting hole 3212 and at least asecond mounting member 3213. Thesecond driving member 42 has at least a fourth mountinghole 421, wherein each of the second mountingmember 3213 is mounted on the second drivingmember 42 by each of the third mountingholes 3212 and each of the fourth mountingholes 421, wherein theheat dissipating member 32 and the second drivingmember 42 form asecond receiving chamber 422 and thelight source 31 is positioned in thesecond receiving chamber 422. - Furthermore, the second driving
member 42 has a secondlight channel 423, wherein the secondlight channel 423 is communicated with thesecond receiving chamber 422, so that the light generated by thelight source 31 is radiated to the outside of the light-direction adjustment device through the secondlight channel 423. - One side portion of the mounting
substrate 321 is extended in a perpendicular direction to form a first mountingshaft 326 and asecond mounting shaft 327, wherein a diameter of the second mountingshaft 327 is smaller than a diameter of the first mountingshaft 326. The first drivingmember 41 has a first mountingcavity 411 and a second mountingcavity 412, wherein a diameter of the second mountingcavity 412 is smaller than a diameter of the first mountingcavity 411, and the second mountingshaft 327 is able to be moved along a path formed by the second mountingcavity 412. - Furthermore, the
adjustment unit 40 further comprises aresilient element 43, wherein two end portions of theresilient element 43 are facing toward the first mountingshaft 326 and the first mountingcavity 411 respectively. Thefirst mounting shaft 326 is able to be moved and displaced to return to its predetermined condition by theresilient element 43. - Specifically, when the first driving
member 41 and the second drivingmember 42 are simultaneously and respectively moved with respect to thefirst driving surface 15 and thesecond driving surface 25, the second mountingshaft 327 is able to be moved along a path formed by the second mountingcavity 412 so as to change a distance between the first drivingmember 41 and the second drivingmember 42. In addition, theresilient element 43 ensures a frictional force generated between the first drivingmember 41 and thefirst driving surface 15 and a frictional force generated between the second drivingmember 42 and thesecond driving surface 25, such that theadjustment unit 40 can be fixed in any position. - More specifically, during the changing of the lighting direction of the
light source 31 of the light-direction adjustment device, the relationships between each of the components are as follows: - In which, when the light-direction adjustment device is fixed to a certain position, the
adjustment unit 40 is preinstalled such that thelamp body unit 20 and thehousing 10 are in a vertical condition. At this condition, theresilient element 43 relies on an elastic force generated by the first mountingshaft 326 and the first mountingcavity 411 to ensure theadjustment unit 40 being located on this position stably. - In which, when one side portion of the second driving
member 42 applies an external force to thehousing 10, the first drivingmember 41 and the second drivingmember 42 are synchronously and respectively moved along the trajectory defined by thefirst driving surface 15 and thesecond driving surface 25, and the second mountingshaft 327 is moved along a path formed by the second mountingcavity 412. It is understandable that the external force overcomes the frictional force generated between the first drivingmember 41 and thefirst driving surface 15 and the friction forced generated between the second drivingmember 42 and thesecond driving surface 25. Therefore, this process fixes the change of the lighting direction of thelight source 31 of theadjustment unit 40. - It is worth mentioning that when the external force applied on the second driving
member 42 is released, the first drivingmember 41 may perform a movement and a displacement toward thefirst driving surface 15 under the action of theresilient element 43, so that the frictional force is generated between the first drivingmember 41 and thefirst driving surface 15. Correspondingly, the second drivingmember 42 may perform a movement and a displacement toward thesecond driving surface 25, so that the frictional force is generated between the second drivingmember 42 and thesecond driving surface 25. Accordingly, the frictional forces generated between each above components ensure that theadjustment unit 40 is fixed on the adjusted position. In other words, when there is no external force applying on the second drivingmember 42 again, the light emitting direction of thelight source 31 will no longer be changed so as to meet the ultimate need of the light-direction adjustment device. - In view of the above description, it is understandable that when there is an external force reapplying on the second driving
member 42, the lighting direction of thelight source 31 is adjusted with the angle adjustment of theadjustment unit 40 to achieve a multiple angle adjustment. - It is understandable that since the
adjustment unit 40 is positioned in the first receivingchamber 14 formed by thehousing 10 and thelamp body unit 20, during a process of theadjustment unit 40 changing the emitting direction of thelight source 31, there is no need to occupy additional spaces beside the occupied space of the light-direction adjustment device, so that the light-direction adjustment device can be utilized in a narrow and small space. - Preferably, the
light emitting unit 30 comprises a reflectingelement 33 mounted on the mountingsubstrate 321, wherein the reflectingelement 33 has a third light channel 331 such that the light generated by thelight source 31 is emitted through the third light channel 331. The advantages of the reflectingelement 33 include that when thelight source 31 emits lights, the lights emit to surroundings with thelight source 31 as a base point, and that the reflectingelement 33 reflects the lights emitted toward the mountingsubstrate 321, so that the light emitting direction of thelight source 31 has a good directivity and thus an optical effect of the light-direction adjustment device is enhanced. - Based on the above disclosure of the invention spirit, the
light emitting unit 30 further comprises aspotlighting element 34. The spotlightingelement 34 comprises a fixingportion 341 and aspotlighting portion 342 integrally formed with the fixingportion 341. Thesecond driving member 42 has a retainingportion 424, wherein the fixingportion 341 is fixed to the retainingportion 424. The lights generated by thelight source 31 is emitted from the spotlightingportion 342, so that the spotlightingelement 34 enables the lights generated by thelight source 31 to have a good consistency and thus to improve the utilization of the lights generated by thelight source 31. - It is worth mentioning that, as the conventional spotlights are array light sources, the lights generated by the conventional spotlights have a poor consistency. Compared with the conventional spotlights, the spotlighting
element 34 of the present invention is preferably an optical lens. In particular, when the lights generated by thelight source 31 is emitted by the spotlightingelement 34, the spotlightingportion 342 of thespotlighting element 34 gathers the lights to enhance the consistency of the lights, so that the light-direction adjustment device has a better using effect. - It is also worth mentioning that the light-direction adjustment device can be applied on various locations, such as outdoor, closet, indoor, and so on. In order to ensure the light-direction adjustment device having a good stability and to ensure that the pollution of dust, water or the like on the light-direction adjustment device is minimized, the
light emitting unit 30 further comprises asecond sealing member 35 mounted on the retainingportion 424 so as to ensure a better sealing performance between the spotlightingelement 34 and the second drivingmember 42. It is understandable that the second sealingmember 35 is positioned between the spotlightingelement 34 and the second drivingmember 42 so as to seal a gap between the spotlightingelement 34 and the second drivingmember 42, so that a life span of the light-direction adjustment device is prolonged and the security of the light-direction adjustment device is effectively guaranteed. - It is also worth mentioning that the positional relationship between the
light emitting unit 30 and theadjustment unit 40 is stable, so that the light emitting direction of thelight source 31 can be changed with the angle adjustment of theadjustment unit 40. - According to this preferred embodiment of the invention, two side portions of the
first positioning element 21 are extended towards thehousing 10 to form a holdingportion 26. Accordingly, thefirst housing 11 has two blockingcavities 112 disposed symmetrically, wherein the blockingcavities 112 are communicated with the first receivingchamber 14 of thehousing 10 and the external environment of thehousing 10 and each of the blockingcavities 112 is provided adjacent to the holdingportion 26. The light-direction adjustment device further comprises two holdingunits 50. One end portion of each of the holdingunits 50 is mounted on the holdingportion 26, wherein when each of the holdingunits 50 rotates around each of thesecond driving surface 25, each of the blockingcavities 112 provides a rotating space for each of the holdingunits 50. In other words, during each of the holdingunits 50 rotating around each of the holdingportion 26, each of the holdingunits 50 will not touch thefirst housing 11, so that there is a stable positional relationship between thehousing 10 and thelamp body unit 20. - It is worth mentioning that each of the holding
units 50 is made of an elastic material. - It is also worth mentioning that, when the light-direction adjustment device is in a non-assembling status, each of the holding
units 50 is preinstalled closely to thefirst housing 11 of thehousing 10, wherein when there is an external force applying on the holdingunits 50 to drive a free end portion of each of the holdingunits 50 away from thefirst housing 11, each of the holdingunits 50 has an ability of returning to its preinstalled position. - The
lamp body unit 20 further comprises astopper portion 27 provided on an outer side of thefirst positioning element 21. It is understandable that a diameter of thestopper portion 27 is greater than a diameter of thefirst positioning element 21. Preferably, thefirst positioning element 21, thesecond positioning member 22 and thestopper portion 27 are integrally formed. - It is worth mentioning that a catching and holding
chamber 51 is formed between the holdingunits 50 and thestopper portion 27, wherein a size of the catching and holdingchamber 51 can be changed with the distance adjustment between the free end portion of the holdingunits 50 and thefirst housing 11, so that the holdingunits 50 and thestopper portion 27 fix the light-direction adjustment device to its preinstalled position. - Referring to
FIG. 3 to FIG. 8 of the drawings, according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, thelamp body unit 20 further comprises a first fixingmember 28 and a second fixingmember 29, wherein the first fixingmember 28 is mounted on the secondheat dissipating pieces 323 and afirst fixing chamber 281 is formed between the first fixingmember 28 and the secondheat dissipating pieces 323. Correspondingly, thefirst housing 11 further has apositioning hole 113, wherein the second fixingmember 29 is mounted in thepositioning hole 113 of thefirst housing 11 and the second fixingmember 29 and thefirst housing 11 has a stable structural relationship. The second fixingmember 29 further has asecond fixing chamber 291. Input leads are extended to the interior of the light-direction adjustment device through thesecond fixing chamber 291 and thefirst fixing chamber 281 to provide power supply for thelight source 31. - In other words, the transmission conductors extended to the interior of the light-direction adjustment device are fixed to the first fixing
member 28 and the second fixingmember 29 so as to prevent damages resulting from the output leads entangled in the internal of the light-direction adjustment device, under the precondition of not influencing a normal use of the light-direction adjustment device, when theadjustment unit 40 is faulty operated. - Referring to
FIG. 8 to FIG. 10 of the drawings, an implementation form according to an alternative mode of the preferred embodiment of the present invention is illustrated. - The
second housing 12 comprises a first connectingbody 121 and a second connectingbody 122, wherein one end portion of the first connectingbody 121 is integrally extended to thesecond housing 12 and the other end portion of the first connectingbody 121 is formed to connect with a connectingchamber 1211 having a thread structure. One end portion of the second connectingbody 122 forms thefirst driving surface 15 and the other end portion forms a second connectingmember 1221 having a thread structure. The thread structure of the second connectingmember 1221 is matched with the thread structure of the connectingchamber 1211 so as to securely connect the second connectingbody 122 with the first connectingbody 121. - It is worth mentioning that since the first connecting
