- Method for producing wet-laid non-woven fabrics, in which method an aqueous suspension comprising fibres is deposited on a screen (11) of an inclined-screen former (3) and is dewatered by suction boxes (12) below the screen (11) so as to form a sheet of a non-woven web (10) which is retrieved from the screen (11) and guided to at least one following treatment apparatus (4) before the non-woven web (10) is capable of being wound up; and transferring the non-woven web (10) from the screen (11) to the at least one following treatment apparatus (4) and/or transferring the non-woven web (10) at interfaces (8, 9) between treatment apparatuses (4, 6) when starting production and/or upon an interruption of production while resorting to the aid of a web threading installation (13), wherein the web threading installation (13) takes place by way of a respective temporarily closed draft of a free draft between the screen (11) and the at least one following treatment apparatus (4), and/or by way of a respective temporarily closed draft of a free draft on an interface (9) between treatment apparatuses (4, 6), characterized in that the respective temporarily closed draft is generated by air flows of a web threading installation (13) which by suction retrieve an end feeding strip (14) as part of the running non-woven web (10), by generating negative pressure attach said end feeding strip (14) to a transportation path installation (19), and guide said end feeding strip (14) onward to the respective following treatment apparatus.

- Method according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the air flows of the temporarily closed draft are mutually adapted so as to configure a uniform web draft in the region of the transfer.
- Device for carrying out the method according to one or a plurality of Claims 1 to 7, said device comprising a wet non-wovens plant (1) having a fibrous suspension installation (2), a screen installation (3) as an inclined-screen former, at least one following treatment apparatus (4), and at least one free draft at an interface (8, 9) between the screen installation (3) and the following treatment apparatus (4), and/or at an interface (9) between two following treatment apparatuses (4, 6), said free draft being capable of being temporarily closed, characterized by air flow installations of a web threading installation (13) for a cut end feeding strip (14) which are positioned in such a manner that the end feeding strip (14) as part of the running non-woven web (10) is retrieved by a retrieval vacuum (30) and is transferred to the following treatment apparatus by a transportation path installation (19) generating negative pressure.
- Device according to Claim 8, characterized in that the retrieval vacuum (30) for retrieving the non-woven web (10) is provided with a suction installation (26) which is downstream in the running direction of the non-woven web (10) and by means of which a transfer location is capable of being positioned in the free draft to the following treatment apparatus (4).
- Device according to Claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the transportation path installation (19) generating negative pressure is configured as a vacuum conveyor belt or as an air baffle installation.
- Device according to one of Claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the transportation path installation (19) has a lower side which is configured as a suction face.
- Device according to one of Claims 8 to 11, characterized in that the following treatment apparatus (4, 6) for receiving a transferred end feeding strip (14) at the entry side has a vacuum trap installation (21) which is connected to a controller installation for controlling the retrieving, the transferring, and the receiving of and end feeding strip (14) in the temporarily closed draft.
