Comparing the end cap 22' of Figure 23 with the end cap 22** of Figures 24-27 (especially as seen in Figure 26 ), it may be appreciated that the beam 50**, outriggers 30** and wings 28** of this end cap 22** forms a more flattened-out, bow-shaped profile as compared with the "M" shaped profile formed by the beam 50, outriggers 30' and wings 28' of the previous end cap 22'. As in the previous embodiment, the outriggers 30** are cantilevered from the beam 50**, and the wings 28** are distally mounted on the outriggers 30**.

Furthermore, there may be a notch 58** in only one of the outriggers 30.
  • the embodiment of Figure 28 has identical notches that are mirror images of each other, the notches 58** may have different lengths or have different profiles in order to obtain just the desired amount of holding power. Finally, the notches 58** may be replaced by, or used in conjunction with, changes in thickness of the outriggers 30** adjacent to the wings 28**, providing the wings 28** with more flexibility relative to the beam 50** adjacent to the rear edge of the wings 28** and ultimately reducing the holding power of the end cap 22**.

    un rail allongé (16) s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale et ayant une paroi de base allongée (24) et des pattes allongées (25) en saillie en éloignement de ladite paroi de base (24), ledit rail (16) définissant une extrémité ;
    un capuchon terminal (22) ayant une forme légèrement arquée au repos, ledit capuchon terminal (22) comprenant des premier et deuxième bords opposés (46, 46*) et une partie centrale entre lesdits premier et deuxièmes bords, lesdits premier et deuxième bords opposés étant situés plus près dudit rail que ladite partie centrale au repos ; et
    une première patte d'arrimage (34) qui fait saillie vers l'intérieure à partir dudit capuchon terminal (22) et est en contact avec une surface dudit rail (16) qui est fixe par rapport audit rail (16) pour arrimer ledit capuchon terminal (22) audit rail (16) dans une condition aplatie, lesdits premier et deuxième bords dudit capuchon terminal (22) butant contre ladite extrémité dudit rail (16) et avec la forme arquée dudit capuchon terminal (22) aplatie.
  2. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture pour une ouverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 1, dans lequel ladite première patte d'arrimage (34) possède une extrémité libre avec une saillie (36) qui s'étend à partir de ladite extrémité libre.
  3. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture pour une ouverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 2, dans lequel ladite saillie (36) de ladite première patte d'arrimage (34) bute contre une paroi de retenue qui est fixe par rapport audit rail (16) pour former une butée positive qui retient ledit capuchon terminal (22) dans une condition aplatie lorsque ledit capuchon terminal (22) est installé sur ledit rail (16).
  4. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 3, dans lequel il existe un évasement sur au moins l'une de ladite saillie (36) et de ladite paroi de retenue de sorte que ladite première patte d'arrimage (34) tire ledit capuchon terminal (22) davantage vers ladite extrémité dudit rail (16) à mesure que ladite saillie (36) se déplace davantage dans ladite paroi de retenue.
  5. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 1, dans lequel ladite première patte d'arrimage comprend une aile (28) qui est reçue dans une piste longitudinale (26) sur ledit rail, et dans lequel ladite aile (28) est calée contre la piste longitudinale.
  6. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 5, comprenant en outre une deuxième patte d'arrimage,
    chacune desdites première et deuxième pattes d'arrimages comprenant une aile (28) respective ;
    ledit rail possédant deux pistes longitudinales (26) ; et
    chacune desdites ailes (28) se calant contre l'une respectives desdites pistes longitudinales (26) lorsque ledit capuchon terminal (22) est poussé dans ledit rail (16).
  7. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 6, dans lequel lesdites première et deuxième pattes d'arrimage sont appuyées en porte-à-faux sur une troisième patte faisant saillie vers l'intérieur à partir dudit capuchon terminal (22) entre lesdites première et deuxième pattes d'arrimage.
  8. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 6, comprenant en outre une troisième patte (34) faisant saillie vers l'intérieur à partir dudit capuchon terminal entre lesdites première et deuxième pattes d'arrimage et ayant une saillie (36) qui bute contre une paroi de retenue qui est fixe par rapport audit rail (16) pour former une butée positive qui retient ledit capuchon terminal (22) dans une condition aplatie lorsque ledit capuchon est installé sur ledit rail.
  9. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 3 ou 8, dans lequel la paroi de retenue se trouve sur un bord d'une ouverture (32) dans ladite paroi de base (24) dudit rail (16).
  10. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 3 ou 8, dans lequel la paroi de retenue se trouve sur un corps faisant saillie à partir dudit rail.
  11. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 6, dans lequel :
    lesdites pistes longitudinales sont disposées adjacentes à ladite base dudit rail,
    ledit capuchon terminal possède des troisième et quatrième bords opposés, ledit quatrième bord étant disposé adjacent à ladite base dudit rail, et
    lesdites première et deuxième pattes d'arrimage et les ailes respectives sont agencées de sorte que, lorsque ledit capuchon terminal est poussé dans ladite extrémité dudit rail, et lesdites ailes sont poussées dans lesdites pistes longitudinales, ledit troisième bord dudit capuchon terminal entre en contact avec ledit rail avant lesdits premier, deuxième et quatrième bords, et, lorsque ledit capuchon terminal est entièrement assemblé sur ladite extrémité dudit rail, l'ensemble desdits premier, deuxième, troisième et quatrième bords dudit capuchon terminal entre en contact avec ledit rail.
  12. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 11, dans lequel lesdites première et deuxième pattes d'arrimage sont appuyées en porte-à-faux sur une troisième patte faisant saillie vers l'intérieur à partir dudit capuchon terminal entre lesdites première et deuxième pattes d'arrimage.
  13. Agencement permettant d'arrimer un capuchon terminal sur un rail d'une couverture architecturale tel que défini dans la revendication 12, dans lequel les première et deuxième pattes d'arrimage fléchissent par rapport à ladite troisième patte, et lesdites pattes, lesdites ailes et lesdits rails sont agencés de sorte que, lorsque ledit capuchon terminal est poussé sur l'extrémité dudit rail, et lesdites ailes entre dans leurs rails respectifs, lesdites première et deuxième pattes d'arrimage soient comprimées ensemble dans une direction de compression, ce qui amène ledit capuchon terminal à se déplacer par rapport audit rail dans une direction perpendiculaire à ladite direction de compression.
