and the rod arrangement has a distributor element (8) for distributing a movement of the pedal arrangement (3, 20) to the individual lid portions (5), the distributor element (8) having for each lid portion (5) an upwardly extending supporting arm (10) having a bearing (29), which is open towards the top, for receiving a support element (28) of the lid portion (5). - Waste bin according to claim 1,
characterised in that
the bearings (29) and/or the support elements (28) are provided with control surfaces (31) along which a supporting arm (10) and a support element (28) move relative to one another when the corresponding lid portion (5) is pivoted. - Waste bin according to claim 2,
characterised in that
at least one control surface (31) is shaped in such a way that the associated lid portion (5) pivots open and/or pivots shut at a slightly different time relative to the other lid portions (5). - Waste bin according to at least one of claims 1 to 3,
characterised in that
the rod arrangement (8, 12) and/or the pedal arrangement (3, 20) and/or the lid (4) are provided with a damper element (24) in order to cushion a closing movement of the lid (4) and/or a pivoting-shut of the lid portions (5). - Waste bin according to at least one of claims 1 to 4,
characterised in that
the lid (4) consists essentially of the frame element (6) and two lid portions (5) pivotally mounted thereon, the distributor element (8) essentially being formed from a cross-member (9) and two supporting arms (10), which extend upwards from the cross-member and are provided with bearings (29) which are open towards the top, for pivoting open the lid portions (5). - Waste bin according to claim 5,
characterised in that
the distributor element (8) is arranged in a rear upper region of the waste bin and is in operative connection with the pedal arrangement (3, 20) via a central push rod (12). - Waste bin according to at least one of claims 1 to 6,
characterised in that
the distributor element (8) is provided with a locking device which locks the supporting arms (10) in a raised position in order to prevent the waste container from closing. - Waste bin according to claims 6 and 7,
characterised in that
the locking device comprises a handle element (11) and a hook element (32) on the cross-member (9), the hook element (32) being engageable in and disengageable from a counter-bearing (33) on a rear side of the waste bin. - Waste bin according to claim 8,
characterised in that
the hook element (32) is engageable in and disengageable from the counter-bearing (33) by tilting the distributor element (8). - Waste bin according to at least one of claims 1 to 9,
characterised in that
resilient stop elements (34) are arranged in the region of the pivotal bearing of the lid portions (5) so that, when the pedal (3) is not being operated, the opened lid portions (5) are pivoted at least to an extent such that they automatically pivot shut under gravity. - Waste bin according to at least one of claims 1 to 10,
characterised in that
the bucket (1) simultaneously forms the exterior casing of the waste bin. - Waste bin according to claim 11,
characterised in that
the bucket (1) is provided at its upper rim with a circumferential projecting collar (7), and the frame element (6) is in the form of a ring-shaped surround which rests on the projecting collar (7) of the bucket (1). - Waste bin according to claim 7 and either one of claims 11 and 12,
characterised in that
the push rod (12) runs substantially in a groove (13) on a rearward outer side of the bucket (1) and, in the region of the upper rim of the bucket (1), is guided by means of a lead-through (14) into the interior of the bucket (1), where the cross-member (9) of the distributor element (8) is mounted on the pushrod (12); that the frame element (6) is provided with a skirt (26) which extends into the interior of the bucket (1) and which covers at least the cross-member (9) of the distributor element (8); and that the frame element (6) has openings (27) for the supporting arms (10) of the distributor element (8). - Waste bin according to at least one of claims 1 to 13,
characterised in that
in the region of the upper rim of the bucket (1) there are installed removable spring clips (35) for fixing a refuse bag in place.
