Abstract

A slimming apparatus comprising a series of wooden balls strung on a highly resistant cord forming a closed assembly. The balls are separated from one another by means of knots, for example, and have certain longitudinal play which, by means of using centripetal force, allows the body, and more specifically fat, to be massaged by a series of wooden balls, favoring fat elimination in the abdominal area, the massaging force being managed by the user. The apparatus allows achieving the following results: slimming, natural intestinal cleansing, toning and strengthening the abdominal and lumbar area, protecting the spinal column, improving the body's balance, massaging internal organs to prevent blockages in the organs and abdominal congestion, and creating a flow of energy and vital force through internal channels, favoring the working of blood vessels and lymphatic glands in the body.

Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • As established by the title of the invention, the object of the present invention is a slimming apparatus comprising a series of balls strung on a cord which, by means of using centripetal force, allows the body, and more specifically fat, to be massaged by a series of wooden balls, favoring fat elimination in the abdominal area, the massaging force being managed by the user.
  • The present invention is characterized by the special configuration, design and relative arrangement of the elements which the slimming apparatus comprises, obtaining an apparatus that simultaneously allows slimming, intestinal cleansing, toning, protection, improving the body's balance and massaging internal organs, all this being performed with a highly effective apparatus that is easy to produce and use.
  • Therefore, the present invention is encompassed within the scope of apparatus and devices used in personal health care.
  • PRIOR ART
  • There are a number of slimming apparatus, such as electrical stimulation vests, girdles for increasing temperature, massagers, steam baths and stationary bicycles.
  • The drawbacks of said apparatus include their complicated design and manufacture, as in the case of electrical stimulation vests, discomfort in use, as in girdles for increasing temperature, poor effectiveness, as in the case of massagers, complicated to use, as in stationary bicycles or steam baths.
  • There is also a type of ring having a body that is rigid or can be disassembled by sections having on the inner face a variable number of special balls having a size of about 1 cm in diameter. However, this solution is complicated to manufacture and has a relatively low effectiveness.
  • Therefore, the object of the present invention is to develop a slimming apparatus that overcomes the mentioned drawbacks as regards difficulties in manufacturing and using slimming apparatus, or the lack of effectiveness, developing a slimming apparatus such as that described below the essential features of which are included in claim 1.
  • DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
  • The object of the present invention is a slimming apparatus comprising a series of wooden balls strung on a highly resistant cord forming a closed assembly, the balls being separated from one another by means of knots, for example, and the balls having certain longitudinal play.
  • By means of using the centripetal force generated by spinning the apparatus around the waist, the balls massage the abdominal and lumbar muscles intensely, aiding in mobilizing and eliminating accumulated fat. The impact is highly effective while performing the exercise.
  • The most outstanding novelty and difference with respect to related earlier inventions is the use of wooden balls weighing about 150 grams each.
  • Accordingly, the apparatus has several advantages as a result of its configuration:
    • The first advantage is its weight which, as a result of the entire assembly weighing about 5 kg, applies a great force on the abdominal and lumbar area, making the balls adhere as close as possible to the body and massaging the internal organs, burning fat more effectively that any other similar invention.
The apparatus is characterized by its capacity to manage the penetration force as desired by the user, since the faster the user spins the apparatus, the greater the force and effectiveness of the exercise.
    • The second advantage and difference with respect to the state of the art is that the balls are specially designed so that they adhere as close as possible to the body. As a result of its spherical shape, its surface gradually penetrates the fat and penetrates further than other inventions, favoring movements that allow preventing obstructions in the organs and abdominal congestion.
    • The third advantage of the invention is its actuation area because, since the balls are not fixed to the cord and have a range of movements of 2 cm in the longitudinal direction on the cord, it takes advantage of the spinning movement of the apparatus to counteract gravity and the balls affect an area comprised between the iliac bones of the pelvis and the area surrounding the sternum, about 20 cm from the waist up, treating a much larger area than similar inventions.
  • In addition, since the slimming apparatus is not rigid, it hugs the waist of each user and allows the balls to be freely distributed and to move away as much as possible from the user due to inertial force, maximizing the centripetal force produced by the massage.
  • The following is achieved in a fast and effective manner by means of using the apparatus object of the invention:
    • slimming,
    • natural intestinal cleansing,
    • toning and strengthening the abdominal and lumbar area,
    • protecting the spinal column,
    • improving the body's balance,
    • massaging internal organs to prevent blockages in the organs and abdominal congestion,
    • creating a flow of energy and vital force through internal channels favoring the working of blood vessels and lymphatic glands in the body.
  • The slimming apparatus can be adapted in terms of number, weight and material of the balls and in terms of the diameter of the cord for being adapted to different users, such as teenagers, people with a large waist or a very small waist, etc.
  • The cord of the apparatus is manufactured with a highly resistant material to prolong the service life of the apparatus, which is considerably longer than other similar inventions.
  • Throughout the description and claims the word "comprises" and variants thereof do not intend to exclude other technical features, supplements, components or steps. For persons skilled in the art, other objects, advantages and features of the invention will be understood in part from the description and in part from the practice of the invention.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • To complement the description being made and for the purpose of aiding to better understand the features of the invention according to a preferred practical embodiment thereof, a set of drawings is attached as an integral part of said description in which the following is depicted with an illustrative and non-limiting character:
    • Figure 1 shows a plan view of the slimming apparatus object of the invention.
    • Figure 2 shows a perspective view of the same apparatus.
    DETAILED DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
  • A preferred embodiment of the proposed invention is described below in view of the drawings.
  • Figure 1 shows that the slimming apparatus object of the invention comprises a series of balls (2), preferably made of wood, diametrically perforated and strung on a cord (1), which is preferably a highly resistant cord, forming a closed assembly, the ends of the balls being joined together by joining means, where the balls (2) are separated from one another by separating means, preferably knots (3), arranged such that the balls (2) can move horizontally along the cord (1), in a preferred but non-limiting manner, said movement being in the order of about 2 cm.
  • The joining ends of the cord (1) to form a closed assembly can be a metal plate (4).
  • Therefore, the balls (2) can rotate around the cord (1) going through them and move longitudinally along the cord in the space comprised between the knots (3) arranged on each side of each ball (2).
  • In a preferred but non-limiting possible embodiment, there are 29 balls (2), the balls having a diameter of 7.5 cm, whereas the cord (1) can be a cord 8 mm in diameter and 300 cm in length.
  • The balls (2) can have a weight of about 150 grams. All the particular details of the apparatus in terms of the number of balls, diameter of the balls, characteristics of the cord, weight of the cord, are adjustable according to user characteristics and needs.
  • The rotational speed of the slimming apparatus is usually comprised between 6 and 11 rad/s, which generates a centripetal force in the area to be massaged between about 75 N and 325 N (depending on the perimeter of the user's waist and the rotational speed).
  • Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is hereby stated that within its essential features, it could be carried out to practice in other embodiments differing in detail from that indicated by way of example, and such embodiments would also be covered by the protection that is sought provided that the fundamental principle thereof is neither altered, changed nor modified.
