Description

  • The present invention relates to a refrigerator having a storage chamber and a door opening aid for facilitating the opening of a door of the storage chamber, which is controlled by a pressure sensor exposed to the air pressure prevailing in the storage chamber. Such a refrigeration device is off DE 10 2006 061 083 A1 known. The door opening aid of this known refrigerator comprises a control body which, when the pressure sensor caused by a user pulling on the door detects a negative pressure in the storage chamber, is extended to push a sealing profile of the door away from its abutment surface on a frame of the body and thus to bring about pressure equalization between the storage chamber and the environment.
  • DE 102 03 425 A1 proposes a refrigeration device equipped with a measuring device for detecting pressure differences between the inside and outside of the refrigerating appliance and controlling means for establishing pressure equalization.
  • DE 10 2011 084 908 A1 discloses a refrigeration device in which a temperature sensor is housed in a backing part which is anchored in an opening of an inner lining of the refrigeration device. The document DE10063681 discloses a refrigerator with a door closer detection device and with a suitable pressure difference sensor.
  • Object of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator with door opening help that is inexpensive to install.
  • The present invention is disclosed in independent claim 1. Further embodiments are disclosed in the dependent claims.
  • A refrigeration device is understood in particular to mean a domestic refrigeration appliance, that is to say a refrigeration appliance which is used for household management or possibly also in the gastronomy sector, and serves in particular for storing food and / or drinks in household quantities at specific temperatures, such as, for example, a refrigerator Freezer, a fridge-freezer or a wine storage cabinet.
  • Preferably, the pressure sensor is arranged outside an insulation layer surrounding the bearing chamber and communicates with the bearing chamber via a pipeline extending through the insulation layer.
  • The backing member preferably has a flexible skirt which abuts a side of the wall of the inner container remote from the bearing chamber around the opening to preclude passage of insulation material through the opening.
  • Preferably, the housing has two air passages, not only to allow pressure equalization with the storage chamber, but also to facilitate air circulation between the interior of the housing and the storage chamber.
  • This is particularly beneficial to the accuracy of the temperature sensor, which is housed in the backing part.
  • Preferably, this pipe connection piece is oriented parallel to the wall of the inner container, so that the tube extends at least to a part of its length parallel to the wall. A tube crossing the insulation material layer in too short a path is not useful because it would act as a thermal bridge between the bearing chamber and the environment.

  • Fig. 1 shows in a schematic perspective view of a household refrigerator with door opening aid according to the present invention. Shown is a stand-alone refrigerator, but it should be clear to those skilled in the art with reference to the following description that the invention is readily transferable to other types of refrigerators.
  • A heat-insulating housing of the refrigerator comprises a body 1 and a hinged thereto door 2, which is shown here in part-open position, so that a storage chamber 3 can be seen in the interior of the body 1. The door 2 has in a customary manner on its body 1 facing the inside a magnetic seal 4, which rests tightly in the closed position of the door 2 on a ring extending around the bearing chamber 3 front frame 5 of the body 1.
  • An electronic circuit board 6, on which various circuits for controlling the operation of the refrigerator and for visualizing its operating state are arranged, is housed here in a recess of the walls of the body 1 filling insulating foam layer behind a control and display panel 7.   • On the electronic board 6, in the case considered here on its underside, a door opening aid 9 is mounted. It comprises an electric actuator 11 and a slide 10 which can be moved out of an opening of the frame 5 under the control of the actuator 11. Fig. 1 shows this slider 10 in an extended, projecting beyond the frame 5 position in which he, if the door 2 would be in the closed position, the magnetic seal 4 locally lift off the frame 5 and so would allow pressure equalization between the storage chamber 3 and the environment ,
  • The actuator 11 is controlled by a differential pressure sensor 12, which is also arranged on the electronic board 6. Since the recess of the insulating material in which the electronic board 6 is housed communicates with the environment via various joints, one of two pressure connections of the differential pressure sensor 12 can open directly into the recess in order to detect the ambient pressure. A second connection of the differential pressure sensor 12 is connected via a pipe 13 extending through the insulation material of the body 1 to a backing piece 14, which is mounted in a side wall of the body 1 extending into the bearing chamber 3.
  • This side wall of the body 1 conventionally comprises a deep-drawn plastic inner container 15, which forms the frame 5 and the storage chamber 3 on five sides delimiting, substantially flat wall surfaces. In one of these wall surfaces 16 is as in Fig. 2 shown an opening 17 cut, in which the backing part 14 is mounted. The backing part comprises an inner housing part 18 which projects into the storage chamber 3 through the opening 17, an outer housing part 19 which is arranged on the side of the wall surface 16 facing the insulating layer 20 of foam, and a flexible skirt 21 which is arranged between the two clamped together housing parts 18, 19 and the inner housing part 18 and optionally one between this and the edge of the The opening 17 shields the existing gap from the insulating layer 20 by abutting the wall surface 16 around the opening 17 along a dashed line 22.
  • In two horizontal walls 23 of the inner housing part 18 elastically deflectable latching projections 24 are seen, which are deflected when pushing through the inner housing part 18 through the opening 17 in the housing part 18 and return to the initial position after passing through the opening 17 elastically to the backing part 14 in the opening 17 to lock.
  • Two air passage openings 25 of the inner housing part 18 ensure a free exchange of air with the storage chamber 3, so that the temperature detected by a temperature sensor accommodated in the storage part 14, which controls a compressor of the refrigerator, agrees well with the temperature inside the storage chamber 3. A holder 26 for the elongated cylindrically shaped temperature sensor, not shown in the figure, is formed on the outer housing part 19.
  • From a rear side of the outer housing part 19, a tube 27 extends into the insulating layer 20. The pipe 27 defines a bend such that a pipe fitting 28 flared to receive one end of the pipe 13 is aligned parallel to the wall surface 16 at the end of the pipe 27 and the pipe 13 inserted therein extends parallel to the wall surface 16 to ceiling height of the body 1.

Claims (6)

  1. Refrigeration appliance with a storage chamber (3) and a door-opening aid (9) for facilitating the opening of a door (2) of the storage chamber (3), which is controlled by a differential pressure sensor (12) which is exposed to the air pressure prevailing in the storage chamber (3) and the outside pressure prevailing in the surrounding area of the refrigeration appliance, wherein the pressure sensor (12) communicates with the interior (3) via a reinforcement part (14) which is inset into an opening (17) of a wall surface (16) of an inner container (15) delimiting the storage chamber (3), characterised in that the reinforcement part (14) contains a temperature sensor, and that a housing part (18), engaging through the opening (17) into the storage chamber (3), of the reinforcement part (14) has a wall (23) with at least one catch tappet (24) engaging on the edge of the opening (17) and at least one air passage opening (25).
  2. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the pressure sensor (12) is disposed outside of an insulating layer (20) surrounding the storage chamber (3) and communicates with the storage chamber (3) via a pipeline (13) extending through the insulating layer (20).
  3. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the reinforcement part (14) has a flexible skirt (21) which abuts a side of the wall surface (16) of the inner container (15) facing away from the storage chamber (3), encircling the opening (17).
  4. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 3, characterised in that the reinforcement part (14) comprises an outer and an inner housing part (18, 19), which are plugged into one another and clamp the skirt (21) therebetween.
  5. Refrigeration appliance according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the reinforcement part has a pipe connection nozzle (28).
  6. Refrigeration appliance according to claim 5, characterised in that the pipe connection nozzle (28) is oriented in parallel with the wall surface (16) of the inner container (15).
