Claims (5)

  1. Method of access to a motor vehicle (4), comprising the following steps:
    - establishing contactless communication according to the NFC protocol between a badge (2) of the motor vehicle (4) and a smartphone (8),
    - communicating an authentication key from the badge (2) to the smartphone (8), in the form of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) code of the vehicle,
    - transmitting the authentication key of the smartphone (8) to a server (6) by telephone communication, the server being capable of communicating with the vehicle (4),
    - recognizing the authentication key by means of the server (6), and transmitting a first batch (10) of data concerning the state of the vehicle (4) from the server to the smartphone,
    - communicating, by means of the server, a second batch (14) of data concerning the operation of the vehicle after a PIN code (12) has been entered on the smartphone (8), this second batch (14) comprising data for starting the engine of the vehicle.
  2. Method of access to a motor vehicle (4) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the data concerning the state of the vehicle comprise at least one of the following data: the mileage, the various liquid levels in the reservoirs, the state of charge of the service battery and of the battery when the vehicle is an electric or hybrid vehicle.
  3. Method of access to a motor vehicle (4) according to either of the preceding claims, characterized in that the operating data of the vehicle (4) comprise the geolocation of the vehicle and/or the locked/unlocked state of the vehicle.
  4. Method of access to a motor vehicle (4) according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a step of transmitting a change of state of the operation of the vehicle (4) from the smartphone (8) to the server (6), which forwards the changes of state to the computer of the vehicle (4), which then modifies the elements in question.
  5. Method of access to a motor vehicle (4) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the change of state of the operation of the vehicle (4) is at least one of the following changes:
    - A change in the customization data for the interior arrangements
    - Modification of data concerning the telephone directory and the radio pre-setting
    - A change in the locked/unlocked state of the vehicle
    - Modification of the operation of the air conditioning/heating of the passenger compartment
    - A change of state in the engine operation: started/stopped
    - A change of state of the steering lock devices
