Multipurpose bedside table comprising a parallelepiped-shaped or circular horizontal support surface (100) delimited by the vertical sides (110), on which the cooling bottle carrier cylinder (200) is vertically situated with cooling motor (210) controlled by the button (215) and with a circular ring nut (300) at the vertex that is rotatable and formed by multiple adjacent small windows (310) traversed by the light beam emitted by the underlying LED (340), comprising a further LED lamp (400) with articulated arm, the radio apparatus with the USB music player (500) included connected to the speakers (510), at least one USB port (150) and finally the 12 V current transformer (600).

Description

    Field of the art
  • Even if the present invention patent application is applicable to any field where one such device type can be advantageously used, preferably this generally refers to the field of furnishing and more particularly to the field of furnishing accessories and still more specifically it regards an innovative multipurpose bedside table to be used as accessory situated next to the bed.
  • Prior art
  • As is known, a bedside table is a very useful furnishing accessory in the bedroom and generally consists of a small furniture piece that is usually placed next to the bed in order to place common functional objects thereon/therein. Not inappropriately it is defined the most intimate and personal furniture piece of the house, since it contains the secrets and objects used when we go to bed or are in the process of going to bed. Therefore, our bedside table represents our faithful companion that can assume various functions in accordance with our needs. Here we keep a book for relaxation and diversion before going to sleep, here we set our cell phone, the abat-jour, here we keep our medicine when we are ill; the bedside table contains what is necessary for the night (ear plugs, headphones, etc.), it provides the support surface for the objects that we can set down immediately before going to sleep (glasses, hair clips and ribbons, etc.), it contains the most intimate objects, it contains toiletry creams and so forth.
  • Already known in the art are different types of bedside tables that range from the most simple, provided only with a main level, to those more complex provided with a drawer, with a further level, with an open door and the various combinations of one or more of these elements makes the bedside table adaptable to user needs.
  • For the bedside table, designers have focused their creativity in creating strange forms and effects; among the conventional forms, there are those parallelepiped-shaped when it has a rectangular surface, cube-shaped when it has a square surface, and so on, cylindrical or irregular. In the most difficult embodiments, the aforesaid furnishing accessories have lamps or wall lamps, radio and electrical apparatuses as well as standard electrical sockets, generally situated on the vertical plane or that in contact with the wall.
  • Also with regard to the materials constituting said furnishing accessories, these can be multiple types ranging from wrought iron to glass, from fine wood to plastic polymers, from leather to fabrics.
  • Even if the aforesaid bedside tables of the prior art are aesthetically pleasing, varied with regard to type and functional, up to now they do not have - joined together in a single accessory - those multipurpose characteristics of the inventive finding. Hence, one object of the present invention generally consists of obtaining an innovative multipurpose bedside table capable of providing or better yet including in a single solution a multiplicity of characteristics which are undoubtedly useful if not indispensable for the user.
  • More particularly, said multipurpose bedside table makes easily available - or in practical terms places within reach - a series of structures, characteristics and devices capable of rendering more enjoyable or improving that fairly long awake or sleepy phase, in which the user is situated on the bed.
  • Other advantages of the invention will be clearer from the detailed description of an exemplifying and non-limiting embodiment thereof illustrated hereinbelow.
  • Description of the invention
  • The innovative concept underlying the present invention consists of taking the general concept of bedside table of the prior art, but simultaneously optimizing, resolving or supplementing several defects or lacks thereof.
  • The present finding in fact attains its main objects consisting of a direct availability of structures, characteristics and devices by the user when he/she is situated on the bed during the awake or sleepy phase, by achieving an innovative, practical and readily available multipurpose bedside table that can be situated alongside the bed.
  • In particular said innovative multipurpose bedside table has a horizontal surface on which a cooled cylindrical bottle carrier is situated along with a LED lamp with articulated arm, various USB ports, at least one further LED light projecting a light beam through a ring nut rotating with colored glasses, a radio apparatus/USB music player with integrated speakers and finally convenient areas are attained that are available for the ordered positioning both of electronic objects (cell phone, PDA, smartphone, etc.) and other common functional objects. Once one is in bed, this multipurpose solution inventively allows having readily within reach, or better yet directly available, the numerous objects that are necessary, preferred and usable when awake, simultaneously also easily creating the type of atmosphere desired, being able to directly cool the bottle contained in the suitable bottle carrier, being able to control the radio/music, using the LED lamp with articulated arm and, not of little importance, enjoying/making use of the light beam, emitted by at least one LED light, that can be colored as desired.
  • Hence, to the benefit of practicality and lowering the price, the present invention has as further objective that of proposing an innovative multipurpose bedside table, which can be achieved according to multiple complexity levels, being adapted to the different use needs as well as to the characteristics of the installation site.
  • A further object is to propose a multipurpose bedside table that can be achieved on an industrial scale, whose components are of standard type, perfectly findable on the market and whose production is fully sustainable from an economical and environmental standpoint. The invention must comply with all the strict safety laws regarding electrical devices and for such purpose it is considered that all the electronic devices must function at low voltage. With regard to the materials constituting said inventive multipurpose bedside table, these can be selected by the man skilled in the art so as to meet the technical characteristics in this particular field, including solidity, strength and aesthetic beauty; nevertheless, said materials can comprise those of metal type, those based on natural wood, rubbers and synthetic materials such as polymers, as well as combinations thereof. Likewise, said plastic polymer materials or metal materials or wood materials can comprise those having non-treated and/or galvanized external finish and/or having treated and/or plasticized external finish.
  • With regard to the dimensions of said inventive multipurpose bedside table, it should be stated that these are merely indicative and non-limiting of the invention, since the constituent technical characteristics render it adaptable to the space present at the installation site. That said, the dimensions of said inventive multipurpose bedside table can be expressed and summarized overall with regard to the horizontal support surface in the case of a parallelepiped shape by a width of the sides comprised between 100 cm and 20 cm, more preferably between 80 cm and 30 cm and still more preferably is 40 cm, with regard instead to the circular shape by an extension of the diameter comprised between 100 cm and 20 cm, more preferably between 80 cm and 30 cm and still more preferably is 40 cm.
  • Other characteristics of the present invention will be described in the following detailed description of one or more specific embodiments, protected by the various dependent claims.
  • Brief description of the drawings
  • The preceding advantages, as well as other characteristics of the present invention, will be illustrated with reference to the enclosed figures, which are to be considered merely illustrative and non-limiting or non-binding for the purposes of the present patent application, in which:
    • FIGURE 1 is an axonometric view of the inventive multipurpose bedside table installable in suspension;
    • FIGURE 2 is an axonometric view of the inventive bedside table with lower drawer installable in suspension;
    • FIGURE 3 is an axonometric view of the inventive bedside table with open lower space or reclosable open space installable in suspension;
    • FIGURE 4 is an axonometric view of the inventive bedside table with double lower drawer and set on the ground;
    • FIGURE 5 is an axonometric view of the inventive multipurpose bedside table in double version installable in suspension and obtained for placement between two beds;
    • FIGURE 6 is an axonometric view of the detail of the bottle carrier cylinder with the rotatable ring nut totally extracted;
    • FIGURE 7 is an axonometric view of the inventive multipurpose bedside table in a version with eutectic space and small door open.
    Description of several preferred embodiments of the invention
  • The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the figures and to a preferred embodiment shown therein, in which identical reference numbers were used for the same components.
  • With reference to the various figures, these show a multipurpose bedside table. As specifically represented in Figs. 1-5, said multipurpose bedside table consists of a parallelepiped-shaped horizontal support surface 100 delimited on the sides by the vertical sides 110.
  • The cooling bottle carrier cylinder 200 is vertically situated in retreated central position, i.e. in proximity to the rear vertical side 110. Such cylinder 200 is constituted by the lower cylindrical portion 210 where a silenced motor of the cooling device (not shown) is situated, on the upper part constituted by the hollow cooled cylindrical portion 220 formed by double insulating walls, whose upper portion consists of a tapering zone 280 housing the rotatable circular ring nut 300 formed by multiple adjacent small windows 310. As can be specifically observed in Fig. 6, said tapering zone 280 is characterized by the presence of at least one embedded hole, in which at least one LED 340 is housed and characterized in that said tapering zone 280 is delimited on the lower part by the tapering line 285 on which the aforesaid circular ring nut 300 is set, once it is inserted on said cooling bottle carrier cylinder 200 and on the upper part by the upper hole 230 through which the introduction of the bottle occurs. As can be observed in detail in Fig. 6, the aforesaid circular ring nut 300 is constituted by multiple small windows 310 side-by-side and made of translucent material, in a manner such that each aforesaid small window 310 bears a color different from the others or alternatively that the aforesaid chromatic differences are repeated for series constituted by at least two side-by-side small windows 310.
  • The object of the aforesaid circular ring nut 300, in addition to the unquestionable refinement as well as aesthetic beauty conferred overall to the cooling bottle carrier cylinder 200, is that it can be rotated as desired by the user and obtain a particular chromatic light due to the passage of the light beam emitted by the underlying LED 340 through the aforesaid small windows 310; hence light beams are obtained that are colored in accordance with the tone of the small window that engages the aforesaid LED 340.
  • As shown in Figs. 1-5, frontally with respect to the lower cylindrical portion 210, where the motor is situated, the start button 215 of the cooling motor is present in easily reachable position. Above the aforesaid start button 215, the base of the articulated arm of an LED lamp 400 is positioned, which due to the extensibility of the aforesaid arm can also be used as a convenient reading lamp and whose start commands 450 are positioned outside the front vertical side 110 in lateral and easily reachable positions in case the multipurpose bedside table is placed to the left or right of the bed.
  • For such purpose, it must be defined that in order to be competitive on the market, and hence with the object of reducing the manufacturing and sales expenses of the present finding, the particular symmetric arrangement of the devices and commands of the multipurpose bedside table allows using the same both alongside the right side and alongside the left side of the bed.
  • Frontally with respect to said front vertical side 110, in central position, the radio apparatus is present with the USB music player 500 included that is connected to the respective speakers 510 placed frontally with respect to the ends of the aforesaid front vertical side 110. In the lateral vertical side 110, preferably in rear position, the current transformer 600 is instead housed which is able to lower the voltage to 12 V, i.e. with the main aim of both preventing possible accidents for the user and complying with the strict laws regarding electrical devices.
  • The internal side of the aforesaid vertical sides 110 houses at least one USB port capable of recharging the multiplicity of electronic devices now commonly used that can be situated on said horizontal support surface 100; however, it is strongly advised to install at least one USB port per single vertical side 110 during manufacturing.
  • Likewise, it must be referred, as it is possible to observe in Figs. 1-5, that the placing of the aforesaid devices is such that multiple areas are available on the horizontal support surface 100 that are dedicated for the setting of the abovementioned electrical apparatuses as well as numerous personal objects, and such concept is particularly useful for improving the inventive concept that underlies the present invention.
  • The present invention provides for further alternative embodiments corresponding with several variants of its structure and form of its components. For example, even if up to now we have considered said inventive multipurpose bedside table as a stand-alone unit, which can be placed in suspension or fixed to the wall with fittings or set on pre-existing structures, nothing prevents, in an alternative embodiment, that the present invention can be attained with an underlying secondary structure. As shown in Fig. 2 said multipurpose bedside table can be implemented by the presence of at least one lower drawer 800.
  • The further alternative embodiment shown in Figure 3 provides that the inventive bedside table is made with at least one open lower space or reclosable lower space 850.
  • A still further alternative embodiment, shown in Figure 4, provides that the inventive bedside table is not in suspension and hence is set on the ground by means of the two underlying drawers 800.
  • A further aspect, alongside all the technical solutions described up to now, but of particular importance in enlarging the field of application of the present invention, is that for those cases in which two beds of a room are not coupled together, it is possible in an alternative manufacturing step to create a divided multipurpose bedside table 900, enlarged in terms of lateral extension and hence easily placeable between two side-by-side beds. As can be observed in Figure 5, said divided multipurpose bedside table 900 has two cooling bottle carrier cylinders 200 arranged in proximity to the lateral vertical sides 110, but overall it inventively maintains all the characteristics, apparatuses and structures of the preceding embodiments.
  • Another aspect referable to a solution oriented for obtaining a more inexpensive product, hence one that is more competitive on the market, is that represented by means of the alternative embodiment shown in Figure 7. In the aforesaid embodiment at the base of the cooling bottle carrier cylinder 200 and in place of the aforesaid silenced motor of the cooling device, the eutectic space 700 is obtained that is recloseable by means of the small door 750, in which said eutectic space 700 is placed in direct communication with the internal cavity of the aforesaid bottle carrier cylinder 200. The innovation is represented by the fact that in the aforesaid eutectic space 700, it is possible to position common eutectic plates/cubes i.e. normal means capable of previously accumulating cold, when placed in a common refrigerator, then restoring such accumulated cold once the means have been extracted from the aforesaid cooling system, and hence arranged in the aforesaid eutectic space 700. The cold restoration is slow, therefore it will allow extending the duration of cooling of the bottle placed in the relative bottle carrier cylinder 200 and this inventively and economically without having to make the aforesaid silenced motor of the cooling device.
  • Of course, the data provided herein is merely exemplifying and absolutely non-limiting of the range of the present invention, and only serves for assisting the man skilled in the art in comprehending several possible applications and embodiments of the finding. Therefore, it is clear from the above description that the inventive concept can be adapted to the particular needs of each single case and that therefore different modifications can be made to the preceding description without departing from the protective scope thereof, as defined by the following dependent claims.

Claims (10)

  1. Multipurpose bedside table characterized in that it comprises a parallelepiped-shaped horizontal support surface (100) delimited on the sides by the vertical sides (110), on which the cooling bottle carrier cylinder (200) is vertically situated in retreated central position, i.e. in proximity to the rear vertical side (110), the cooling bottle carrier cylinder (200) being constituted by the lower cylindrical portion (210) where the silenced motor of the cooling device is housed, wherein above the aforesaid lower cylindrical portion (210), the hollow cooled cylindrical portion (220) is present constituted by double insulating walls, wherein above said hollow cooled cylindrical portion (220) the tapering zone (280) is present housing a circular ring nut (300) rotatable and formed by multiple adjacent small windows (310), wherein said tapering zone (280) has at least one small embedded hole where at least one LED (340) is housed and wherein said tapering zone (280) is delimited on the lower part by the tapering line (285) on which the aforesaid ring nut (300) is set, once it is inserted on said cooling bottle carrier cylinder (200), and on the upper part by the upper hole (230) through which the bottle to be cooled is introduced, characterized in that the aforesaid circular ring nut (300) is rotatable by the user and is constituted by multiple small windows (310) side-by-side and formed by translucent material, situated in a manner such that each small window (310) by means of the aforesaid rotation of the circular ring nut (300) as desired engages the light beam emitted by said underlying LED (340), characterized in that frontally with respect to the lower cylindrical portion (210), the start button (215) of the cooling motor is situated in central position, characterized in that above the aforesaid start button (215), the base of the articulated arm of an LED lamp (400) is positioned whose start commands (450) are positioned outside the front vertical side (110) in lateral positions, characterized in that frontally with respect to said front vertical side (110) in central position, the radio apparatus is present with the USB music player (500) included, connected to the respective speakers (510) placed frontally with respect to the ends of the aforesaid front vertical side (110), characterized in that in the lateral vertical side (110), the current transformer (600) is housed which is able to lower the electric voltage supplied to all the electrical devices to 12 V, characterized in that the internal side of the aforesaid vertical sides (110) houses at least one USB port (150) capable of recharging the multiplicity of electronic devices now commonly used and finally characterized in that on the horizontal support surface (100), multiple areas are available that are dedicated for placing, in addition to the above-referred electrical apparatuses, also numerous further common functional objects.
  2. Multipurpose bedside table according to claim 1, characterized in that each aforesaid small window (310) is constituted by translucent material bearing a specific color, preferably different from that of the contiguous small window, characterized in that the aforesaid chromatic differences of said small windows (310) are repeated for series constituted by at least two side-by-side small windows (310), characterized in that said circular ring nut (300) can be rotated as the user desires and to obtain the desired chromatic light by making the light beam emitted by the underlying LED (340) engage with the small window (310) of the desired color.
  3. Multipurpose bedside table according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that it is obtained by means of a symmetric conformation or better yet with the arrangement of constituent devices that are indiscriminately reachable or controllable by the user placed to the left or by the user placed to the right of the horizontal support surface (100).
  4. Multipurpose bedside table according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is a stand-alone unit, in that it can be in suspension or fixed to the wall also by means of fittings, in that it can be placed on a pre-existing structure and finally in that it can be placed directly on the ground.
  5. Multipurpose bedside table according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is made with an underlying secondary structure, in that it can be in suspension or fixed to the wall also by means of fittings, in that it can be placed directly on the ground.
  6. Multipurpose bedside table according to claim 5, characterized in that it has the underlying secondary structure comprising at least one lower drawer (800) and in that it comprises at least one open lower space or lower reclosable open space (850).
  7. Multipurpose bedside table according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has a divided conformation (900) enlarged in terms of lateral extension and hence easily placeable between two side-by-side beds, characterized in that it comprises two bottle carrier cylinders (200) arranged in proximity to the lateral vertical sides (110).
  8. Multipurpose bedside table according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the conformation of the horizontal support surface (100) is circular.
  9. Multipurpose bedside table according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the dimensions of the sides of the parallelepiped horizontal support surface (100) are comprised between 100 cm and 20 cm, more preferably between 80 cm and 30 cm and still more preferably are 40 cm and characterized in that the diameter of the support surface with circular conformation is comprised between 100 cm and 20 cm, more preferably between 80 cm and 30 cm and still more preferably is 40 cm.
  10. Multipurpose bedside table according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at the base of the cooling bottle carrier cylinder (200), the eutectic space (700) is obtained, reclosable by means of the small door (750), in that said eutectic space (700) is placed in direct communication with the internal cavity of the aforesaid bottle carrier cylinder (200) and in that in the aforesaid eutectic space (700) it is possible to position common eutectic plates/cubes, i.e. normal means capable of previously accumulating cold, when placed in a refrigerator and then restoring such accumulated cold once the means have moved away from the aforesaid cooling system and hence arranged in said eutectic space (700) in contact with the bottle to be refrigerated placed in the aforesaid bottle carrier cylinder (200).
