the lifting apparatus comprises a plate (30) which extends in a region between the lower side of the seat part (10) and the lower side of the arm part (14).

on the adjustment of the footrest (18) from the waiting position into the support position, an adjustment of the back part (12) from an at least substantially upright sitting position into an inclined relaxing position takes place.

on an adjustment of the back part (12) from the sitting position into the relaxing position or into the reclining position which is inclined more compared to the relaxing position and/or from the relaxing position into the reclining position, a movement of the arm part (14) relative to the base (16) takes place to the rear.
