The invention relates to a method of supervising an operation of making available, via a telecommunication network, to at least one user, termed the consulter (UC), of at least one subset of a set of information available on a user, termed the publisher (UP). For example, the document US201 1/0106896 describes a method for sharing aggregated information in profiles in a network and between participants in an event linked to a physical location. Each of the participants can subscribe to a social network that becomes a participating subscriber and can then view the profiles of other participating subscribers through a terminal having access to the network. For example, when a participating subscriber enters the physical location associated with the event, his terminal equipped with a location module sends location information to the server of a social network. The server then detects the presence of the participating subscriber to which it associates information (for example a profile of the subscriber participant registered in the database of the social network). The document WO2012 / 173734 describes a method of sharing information between users of a network service enabling them to interact. Sharing of information is allowed within a "bubble". A bubble is created at the request of a alpha user on his terminal to a network service server. A physical location corresponding to the location of the alpha user can be associated with the bubble. When another user enters the physical location, he can request the network service to enter the bubble. When a large number of users enter the bubble, the physical place can be changed by widening and its center moved according to the locations of the users. Each bubble user is identified by a profile.

These methods, while providing information sharing between different users, are limited to sharing an aggregated user information set in a profile. As a result, a publisher user will always share the same profile, regardless of the circumstances and the identity of the consulting users.

This is not desirable for at least the following reasons. On the one hand, the shared information may or may not be relevant to the consulting user who receives it. There is indeed no means of adaptation of the information shared according to the user of this information recipient. On the other hand, the user who makes information available to himself can not properly handle the confidentiality of some of this information, or ensure that information with a certain degree of confidentiality will not be disclosed widely but only to certain authorized persons.

The inventors have thus made the observation that it would be interesting for a publisher user to be able to differentiate the information he shares with others, and to control the provision of this information in an efficient and simple manner.

Presentation

An object of the present invention is to overcome at least one disadvantage of the prior art presented above.

There is provided a method of controlling an operation for providing, via a telecommunication network, at least one user, called the consultant, of at least a subset of a set of information available on a network. user, says publisher, the method being implemented by a server and comprising the following steps:

The control method allows a publisher to share one or more facets with one or more consultancy users.

By sharing a facet with a user consultant, here means an operation for making available to this user consulted the subset of information corresponding to this facet.

The provisioning operation notably comprises sending access data allowing access by the consulting user to a subset of previously identified information. By access data allowing access to facets, we mean either facet information directly, or data that will make it possible to obtain them (for example, to issue a request to obtain them) or to consult them (for example , by means of a URL type access link).

This provisioning operation is for example a sending of information, or a sending of an access link to this information, or a sending of a notification from which the user consulted will be able to request and obtain a access to this information. A method of controlling an operation for providing a subset of information relating to a user is described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. Each access rule is associated with a facet. More specifically, each access rule is associated with a subset of said set of information relating to the publisher. The access rule defined for a facet specifies under which conditions the facet can be shared between the UP publisher user and the UC consult user. For this purpose, the access rule is defined for example by one of the two following criteria:

- a place of publication where the UP publisher user must be located to allow access to the facet;

- a place of consultation where the user user UC must be located to allow access to the facet with this user consultor.

Each of the places of publication and consultation may be a geographical area more or less extensive, continuous or discontinuous. Any method of defining a geographical area is here possible.

Another criterion that can be included in the access rule is a time range outside or during which access to the facet is blocked. The time slot can be a time slot in a day (determined or not) or a period straddling for at least two days. In one embodiment, another criterion that can define the access rule is a condition to be verified on user information to allow sharing of the facet.
