Abstract

A equipment to identify undesirable objects, in particular after machining, comprising a body (1), to which a spring-loaded element (2) is attached and there is a contact with sound and/or light alarm between the body (1) and the spring-loaded element (2). The device can be placed in the tool tray on the machine tool.

Description

Equipment to identify undesirable objects in cavities. Technical field
The invention relates to an equipment to identify undesirable objects in cavities, in particular after machining, to avoid destruction of tools in the subsequent technological operation.
State of the art
Automatic devices are not currently used to automatically identify undesirable objects, such as shavings after a prior operation or broken cutting tools, in cavities, especially in holes. The problem is solved mainly by monitoring broken tools using the principle of measurement of forces or vibration that change in case of growing wear of the tool and its destruction. The monitoring principles of this type are still being developed and this method of solution cannot be said to be reliably settled. There is a huge problem particularly with the identification of broken tools or shavings in small-diameter holes, where identification using force or vibration monitoring is very difficult and unreliable.
Essence of invention
The above deficiencies are removed with an equipment to identify undesirable objects in cavities, in particular after machining, as specified in this invention. Its essence is that it comprises a body to which a spring-loaded element is attached, with an alarm contact established between the body and the spring-loaded element.
The body is advantageously made in the shape of a cylinder with a cavity along its axis, with a rod-shaped spring-loaded element inside.
In another embodiment, the spring-loaded element is connected to the outer side of the body. The alarm can be provided as a sound and/or light alarm.
The equipment can be placed directly in the tool tray on the machine tool. When the element is inserted in a cavity, the spring-loaded element comes into contact with an undesirable object in the cavity. When the spring-loaded element comes into contact with the undesirable object, the element is lifted and the change position relative to the body is identified, e.g. using a wireless system whose sensor is installed on the body or using another physical principle.
The aforementioned device is especially advantageous because it can identify even very small objects, such as broken drills or shavings in small-diameter holes, where the identification of undesirable objects is otherwise very difficult. Clarification of drawings
The equipment to identify undesirable objects in cavities, in particular after machining, as specified in this invention will be described in greater detail on a specific embodiment using the attached figure 1, where its embodiment it shown schematically in a projection view.
Embodiments of the invention
The equipment to identify undesirable objects in cavities, in particular for machining, comprises a body 1, to which a spring-loaded element 2 is attached, with a spring placed between the body 1 and the spring-loaded element 2; the spring tries to push the element 2 out of the body 1. The element 2 is in contact with an alarm. The body 1 is cylinder-shaped, with a cavity along its axis, inside of which there is a rod-shaped spring-loaded element 2. The device is placed in the tool tray to the machine tool.
In another embodiment, the spring-loaded element 2 is connected to the outer side of the body 1.
The alarm is provided as a sound and light alarm. When the element 2 enters the cavity, it comes into contact with an undesirable object and its spring is loaded, which is identified by closing the contacts of an electric circuit placed between the body 1 and the element 2 and by a sound and light alarm.
The equipment can be used for example when machining on machine tools with an automatic cycle, e.g. on CNC stations, when drilling is followed for example by roughing and reaming or by threading. In case of an undesirable obstacle, these tools or even the workpieces can be destroyed. The device is placed in the tray and its replacement is done in the same way as for other cutting tools. After drilling, the cutting tool is replaced with a probe under this invention and undesirable objects are identified. In case that there is something undesirable in the cavity, the manufacturing process of the machine is interrupted the tool will not be therefore destroyed. Industrial use
The equipment to identify undesirable objects in cavities can be especially used after machining.
