After-treatment machine (1) in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that detectors measure the travelling speed of the machine frame (2) in the direction of travel (50) and the traversing speed of the texturing device (3, 5) in transverse direction and transfer the measured signals to the controller unit (24).

Method in accordance with claim 8 or 9, characterized in that by means of applying a transverse texture across a section of predetermined length in one direction of travel (50) and subsequently across a following further section of the same length in an opposite direction of travel, successive textures are applied into the concrete layer (10) at an identical texturing angle.
  11. Method in accordance with one of the claims 8 or 9, characterized in that the texture curing machine (1) is moved continuously in the direction of travel (50) using a transverse texturing device, and a texture is created at two different texturing angles during the continuous to-and-fro movement of the transverse texturing device (3).
  12. Method in accordance with one of the claims 8 or 9, characterized in that the texture curing machine (1) is moved continuously in the direction of travel (50) using a transverse texturing device (3), and the relation between the length of the transverse texturing device (3) and the travelling speed of the texture curing machine (1) is such that the textures overlap symmetrically during the continuous to-and-fro movement of the transverse texturing device (3).
  13. Method in accordance with one of the claims 8 or 9, characterized in that a texture is created using a longitudinal texturing device (5) with texturing tools (30) continuously movable in transverse direction.
  14. Method in accordance with claim 13, characterized in that the texturing tools (30) revolve continuously, essentially transverse to the direction of travel (50), in an endless loop, with the returning texturing tools (30) being disengaged from the concrete layer (10).
  15.
