In der Zeichnung ist schematisch eine vorteilhafte Ausführungsform einer erfindungsgemäßen Hochdruckspritzpistole dargestellt, die insgesamt mit dem Bezugszeichen 10 belegt ist. Sie weist ein Gehäuse 12 auf, das von einer erster Gehäusehalbschale 14 und einer zweiten Gehäusehalbschale 16 gebildet wird. Das Gehäuse 12 weist nach Art einer Pistole einen Handgriff 18 auf. Im Gehäuse 12 ist ein Ventil 20 angeordnet mit einem Ventilgehäuse 22 und mit einem Schließteil in Form eines Ventilstößels 24. Der zweite Schenkel 32 bildet eine Stütze für ein am freien Ende des zweiten Schenkels 32 angeordnetes Schwenklager 38. Am Schwenklager 38 ist ein Handhebel 40 schwenkbar gelagert. Der Handhebel 40 umfasst einen ersten Hebelarm 42 und einen zweiten Hebelarm 44. Ausgehend vom Schwenklager 38 erstreckt sich der erste Hebelarm 42 im Wesentlichen parallel zum Handgriff 18, so dass er vom Benutzer zusammen mit dem Handgriff 18 mit den Fingern umgriffen werden kann.
