Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a cashbox comprising a receiving area for receiving a banknote stack and a closable via a first opening opening for manually feeding and / or removal of notes to or from the receiving area. It is an object of the invention to provide a cashbox in which notes of value can be supplied by machine in a simple manner.

This object is achieved by a cashbox having the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims. According to the invention, the height limiter comprises at least one finger, which projects into a recess of the retaining element when the cover is closed.

This design of the height limiter ensures that only one height limiter, which is attached to the lid, is necessary and no further lateral height limiters are necessary. The height limiter is used, in particular, to adapt the dimensions of the receiving area to the dimensions of the notes of value to be received, so that they are closely enclosed on all sides as possible when handling the cash box, so that slipping of the notes of value within the receiving area is avoided.

The height limiter is for this purpose in particular attached to a lid so that the distance between the lid and the height limiter and thus the distance between the height limiter and the bottom unit of the cashbox is changeable. For this purpose, the height limiter is connected in particular via a correspondingly adjustable connection mechanism with the lid of the cashbox.

This connection mechanism may in particular be designed as a latching connection, wherein a plurality of different latching steps is provided, so that the height limiter can be adjusted accordingly.

In a preferred embodiment, two lateral width limiters are provided in addition to the height limiter, over which the width of the receiving area can be adapted to the corresponding width of the notes of value.

The height limiter is in particular the only height limiter of the cashbox, i. the cashbox has no further height limiters, in particular no height limiters arranged laterally at the corners in the area of the retention unit. This achieves a particularly simple construction. Furthermore, this ensures that no height limiter obstructs the supply of notes of value over the first opening.
