Description

The invention relates to a method for producing a Foliengebindes for a Auspressgerät. Multi-component materials, such as, for example, mortar, foam and sealing compounds, are made available to the user as multicomponent materials in cartridges and film packs. Foil bundles generally have a plurality of foil pouches, which are filled with the individual components of the multicomponent mass and glued into a rigid head part. have proven themselves as packaging for such masses and are characterized in particular by their compared to cartridges low material content, which must be disposed of after the application of the mass. In addition, foil packs are easy and inexpensive to produce. The film package is inserted into a dispenser, and by means of an extrusion mechanism, the mass components are simultaneously forced into exit channels of the head. In a mixer, the individual mass components are mixed to the desired mass and applied to an application site.

The film bags of the film package must be opened before the first use by the user with the first strokes of Auspressvorganges the foil bags burst. This "passive" opening can be supported by deliberately introduced weakenings at specific locations of the foil bag or appropriately placed piercing devices.

An example of such an opening aid is in the DE 43 35 970 A1 shown. The end faces of the film bags are pressed by the pressure exerted by the Auspressgerät on dagger spades whose edges are oriented transversely to the folds of the foil bag.

A more elaborate construction beats the DE 10 2007 018 143 B3 in front. Separate piercing sleeves are inserted into the outlet nozzles of the caps attached to the end of the film bags. The Aufstechhülsen can be moved from a storage position in which they do not come into contact with the film bags by placing a mixer in an activation position in which they penetrate the films of the bag or at least approximately touch.

Weitere Konstruktionen sind in der WO00/21653 , der EP1557363A1 und der EP2116482A1 offenbart.Other constructions are in the WO00 / 21653 , of the EP1557363A1 and the EP2116482A1 disclosed.

All of these solutions have the disadvantage that the outlet channels of the head part are not yet filled with the mass components before the first use. This means that the user first has to fill up the void volume in the head part before the mass components exit into the mixer. In order to achieve a synchronization of the throughputs of the mass components in multicomponent systems, the user is also still required to carry out a certain amount of strokes before the actual application and to discard the amounts subsidized thereby.

Apart from a deviation from the desired mixing ratio in multi-component systems, the air present in the non-filled areas in the head part can adversely affect the application, or it can due to the compressibility of air to undesirable pressure and flow behavior, which in turn lead to curing disorders of the multicomponent composition can. Another disadvantage of the known solutions with Aufstecheinrichtungen is the insufficient control over the opening operations. Even with proper handling by the user, the piercing devices do not always guarantee a perfect opening with a sufficiently large opening cross-section. This can also have a negative effect on the quality of the applied mass. Especially with multi-component systems, too small an opening can lead to an unusable mixing ratio.

The object of the invention is to provide a film package that allows immediate use of mass components when used in a Auspressgerät.

This object is achieved by a method having the features of claim 1. Advantageous and expedient embodiments of the method and the film package according to the invention are specified in the accompanying subclaims.

  • Anbringen eines Kopfteils an einem ersten stirnseitigen Ende eines mit einer Masse gefüllten Folienbeutels, wobei das Kopfteil wenigstens einen Austrittskanal für die Masse aufweist;
  • Öffnen des Folienbeutels; und
  • Schließen des Austrittskanals;
The method according to the invention for producing a film package for a dispensing device comprises the following steps:
  • Attaching a head portion at a first end face of a mass-filled foil bag, wherein the head part has at least one outlet channel for the mass;
  • Opening the foil bag; and
  • Closing the outlet channel;
wherein the opening of the film bag and the closing of the outlet channel before a first use of the film pack in the Auspressgerät done.

On the one hand, the invention is based on the recognition that the disadvantages described above can all be overcome if the outlet channels of the head part are filled as completely as possible with the mass components from the beginning. On the other hand, it has been recognized that the foil bags of a film pack need not necessarily be closed before first use. According to the invention, the film bags are deliberately opened in the production process of the film package. This allows the manufacturer to ensure sufficiently large openings. The opening behavior does not have to be taken into account when selecting foils. This results in new freedom in the choice of packaging.

A premature opening of the film bag, the problem arises that the material components can come into contact with air. In addition, during storage or transport of the film container unwanted mass leakage from the headboard is possible. These problems are inventively by the Closing of the outlet channel already in the production of Foliengebindes, so before the first use of Foliengebindes in Auspressgerät solved.

Thanks to the invention, the dangers of uncontrolled bursting of the foil pouches and contamination are completely prevented on the part of the user. The user only has to remove or open the closure, eg. B. by unscrewing a cap, and the film container is ready for use immediately.

Thus, the invention makes it possible to preserve the advantages offered by the proven and mastered technology of foil bag filling over the use of hard cartridges, and in addition to transfer certain advantages that could hitherto only be offered by the production-technically more complex hard cartridges to film bag systems.

The invention is primarily aimed at multicomponent systems, d. H. on film containers with a plurality of film bags, which are each filled with a component of a multicomponent composition. The invention is basically also applicable to a system with only one foil bag.

According to the invention, the opening of the film bag is carried out automatically when attaching the head part, preferably by a piercing device provided on the head part. Thus, the production of the film package is not delayed by the step of opening the film bag, since this step is performed simultaneously with the attachment of the header.

To displace the air located in the outlet channel, the outlet channel can be filled with a filling material during the production of the foil package. The filling material can also ensure that the foil bags do not lose too much of their original bulging shape after opening, because the mass component of the foil pouch can not get into the outlet channel of the head part due to the filling material.

With a suitable choice of filling this can be easily removed before the first use. Particularly advantageous in this case is an embodiment in which that the Filling material with a closure part (eg., A cap) is connected, with which the outlet channel is closed. When the closure part is removed by the user, the filling material is then simultaneously removed from the outlet channel.

An alternative embodiment of the production method according to the invention provides that, after opening the film bag, part of the mass is pressed out of the film bag as filling material into the outlet channel. This means that already in the production of the film pack the entire headspace of the head part in advance, d. H. in preparation for the first later use, with which mass components can be filled, so that the user does not have to be bothered with this disturbing perceived task.

According to a particular variant of this embodiment, the film bag is divided in the production of the film pack, and the open second end-side end of the film bag, which is formed during the parting, is closed. In this case, such a pressure on the mass in the film bag is exercised by the parts or by closing that a part of the mass is displaced from the film bag in the outlet channel. This variant advantageously allows the simultaneous production of two foil packs, starting from an extended foil pouch for each mass component, which is initially closed at both front ends. At both front ends of the film bag each have a head portion is attached, and the film bag is opened at both ends. Then, the foil bag is divided in the middle as described above, and the newly formed open ends of the two parts are closed. In this case, the outlet channels are filled with the mass component automatically in both foil packs, without the need for an additional manufacturing step would be necessary.

A complete filling of the outlet channels according to the above principle can be achieved, for example, that the second end face of the film bag is sealed in a proven manner by a clip whose width is chosen so that at least one of the volume of the outlet channel corresponding amount of mass is displaced from the foil bag in the outlet channel.

The inventive method also provides a film container for a Auspressgerät with at least one foil bag, which is filled with a mass, and a head part, in which a front end of the foil bag is accommodated. The head part has at least one outlet channel for the mass. According to the invention, the film bag is opened at the first front end, and the exit channel of the head part is closed with a closure part which can be opened or removed by a user.

The inventive method is characterized in that the foil bag is opened before the first use, wherein contact of the mass with air and an undesirable escape of the mass during storage or transport of the film pack is prevented by the closure member. With regard to the advantages of the film package according to the invention over the prior art, reference is made to the above comments on the production method according to the invention.

As also explained above, the invention makes it possible to fill the outlet channel of the head part with a filling material, wherein the filling material can be the same material as the mass in the foil bag or also another material, such as a thermoplastic or an elastomer. In the latter case, the filling material can be attached to the closure part, so that it is automatically pulled out of the outlet channel when the closure part is removed.

As a closure part is particularly suitable a attachable or screw cap, a valve flap or a seal, z. B. in the form of a welded film.

With regard to a time-saving installation of the film package, the head part or the closure part has a piercing device which is designed so that the film bag attaching the closure part at the exit channel a when attaching the frontal end of the foil bag a According to an advantageous development of this aspect, the piercing device Opening tube, which forms part of the outlet channel for the mass and preferably has a bevelled shape and / or sharp edges. The opening tube reliably ensures the formation of a defined, sufficiently large opening in the foil bag.

Further features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description and from the accompanying drawings, to which reference is made. In the drawings show:
  • a first step of a method according to the invention for producing a Foliengebindes;
  • a second step of the manufacturing method according to the invention;

In FIG. 1 are two with respect to their longitudinal axes arranged in parallel, substantially tubular film bag 10, 12, which are each filled with a component of a multi-component compound. The length of the foil bags 10, 12 is the same, while their diameters are matched to the preferred mixing ratio of the mass components.

At the two opposite front ends 14 of the film bag 10, 12 each have a head portion 16 is attached, for example by gluing. The head part 16 has for each foil bag 10, 12 a piercing device and an outlet channel (in the FIGS. 1 to 3 not shown), through which the respective mass component can escape.

The piercing devices are arranged so that they automatically pierce an opening in the respective foil pouch 10, 12 when attaching the head part 16. After opening the foil bags 10, 12, some of the mass component located therein may already enter the respective outlet channel, as in FIG FIG. 2 shown, However, a significant portion of the exit channels remain filled with air depending on the viscosity of the mass components.

The foil bags 10, 12 are now at a position between their front ends 14, preferably exactly in the middle, divided, for example, by constriction. The resulting by dividing the film bag 10, 12 new frontal ends 18 are closed, in particular by a clip 20, or by welding or gluing. The recorded in the head part 16 front ends 14 of the foil pouch 10, 12 are hereinafter referred to as the first ends and the newly formed front ends 18 as second ends.

When parts and / or closing, which can take place at the same time, a pressure on the mass component is exerted on the second end 18 of the film bag 10, 12. This pressure causes a part of the mass component located in the film bag 10, 12 is automatically displaced into the outlet channel. As far as possible, the entire outlet channel should be filled with the mass component, so that the air contained therein is as completely as possible displaced. When closing with a clip 20 this is achieved by choosing a clip with the corresponding minimum width.

After filling the outlet channel this is according to FIG. 3 sealed with a closure member 22. The closure member 22 may be a plugged or screwed cap, a valve flap, a seal in the form of a welded foil or the like. The closure member 22 effectively prevents contact of the mass components with air that could pass through the exit channels to the opened foil bags 10,12. Thus, the production of Foliengebindes is completed, ie the film package is in a storage and transportable state.

Before using the film pack in a Auspressgerät only the closure member 22 must be removed or opened. The film package is then inserted into the dispensing device, wherein usually a mixer is still attached to the head part 16, in which the mass components escaping through the outlet channels during use of the dispensing device are mixed. Since there is no air in the outlet ducts before the first use of the foil pack, it becomes the multi-component mass immediately and in the correct mixing ratio spent, so that no initial Leerhub occurs and no mass must be discarded.

The air in the outlet channels can be displaced in the production of the foil pack in other ways. For example, the outlet channels can be filled with the same material or with a different material, regardless of an exit of the mass components from the foil bags 10, 12. In the latter case, the filling material is disposed of before the first use. This can be done automatically when the filling material is attached to the closure member 22, which is removed before the first use anyway. For this example, prefabricated thermoplastics or elastomers are suitable.

In FIG. 4 an embodiment of the head part 16 is shown in detail. In addition to two receptacles 24, 26, in which the first front ends 14 of the foil pouches 10, 12 are fastened, a piercing device 28, 30 is provided for each foil pouch 10, 12. In the illustrated embodiment, the piercing devices are each formed as an opening tube 32, 34, which projects into the receptacle 24, 26 for the foil bag 10, 12 and has a bevelled shape with sharp edges. When fastening the foil pouches 10, 12 in the receptacles 24, 26, the force F with which the foil pouches 10, 12 are pressed into the receivers 24, 26 suffices for a secure opening of the foil pouches 10, 12.

The outlet pipes 32, 34 are at the same time part of the outlet channels 36, 38. The outlet channel 36, 38 should generally be understood as meaning the entire space in the head part 16 into which the respective mass component can penetrate after opening the film bag 10, 12.

An alternative non-inventive shape of the piercing devices 28, 30 is in FIG. 5 shown. Here, the piercing devices 28, 30 are not formed in the head part 16, but in the closure part 22. The length of the piercing devices 28, 30 is dimensioned so that they protrude so far into the receptacles 24, 26 after complete insertion or screwing onto the head part 16, that the force F produced by the complete insertion or screwing onto the foil bags 10, 12 ensures a safe opening.

Regardless of where the piercers 28, 30 are formed, other forms are also suitable, such as a bevelled gutter (with a sharp edge), a beveled tube (single, pitched roof), a bevelled rod, a tri-square, a square or a four-bar multi-edged cutting edge, each of which can be rigid or flexible.
