Description

DESCRIPTION
BOOM MOUTH BELT EMBODIMENT FOR FOLDABLE BOOM CRANES
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention is related to boom mouth belt embodiment developed in order to eliminate the deformations occurring at the ends of boom while using the cranes in the boom extension systems. In the mouth belt embodiment according to the present invention, steel plates which are placed reciprocatively and the durability of which is increased by placing support plates and extension cylinder connection plates between thereof, are used.
PRIOR ART
Boom mouth belts used in the present crane systems are created by being wrapped around the end of the boom. The belts are bent with presses during manufacture and then, mounted onto the boom mouth. However, the manufacture measures of boom mouth belts manufactured via said method cannot be obtained accurately and it is difficult to mount them to the boom mouth. The belt measures that cannot be obtained accurately during manufacture require the system to be handled again in case of any measure failure and cause the manufacture process to become longer.
In the boom mouth belts manufactured and used in the state of art, welding breakups are experienced because of sudden shocks during the operation of the crane and material deformations occur at the mouth of the boom. Said welding breakups in the boom mouth belts and material deformations occurring in the mouth of the boom affect the function of crane system negatively and frequently make the system inoperative completely. Therefore, the need for strengthening the boom mouth belts arises. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In order to eliminate the problems based on boom mouth belts of the crane systems used in the state of art, our experts have developed boom mouth belt according to the present invention.
The boom mouth belt developed is mounted by being bent via press and manufactured in accordance with the boom body measures by being cut on plasma or laser benches. Therefore, the boom mouth belt can be manufactured in accordance with the boom body and in accurate measures.
The boom mouth belt developed consists of reciprocal steel plates, support plates used between said plates and extension cylinder connection plates. The boom mouth belts manufactured previously in plasma or laser benches in accordance with the boom mouth measures are welded by being passed through boom mouth directly, not by being wrapped around the boom mouth. Therefore, not only can the boom mouth be easily connected to the boom mouth, but also the connection of extension cylinder can be made accurately as the connection points of extension cylinder are determined previously. Furthermore, the montage type of boom mouth belt according to the present invention eliminates the welding breakups to occur at the boom mouth, and the material deformations.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The boom mouth belt embodiment for boom cranes according to the present invention consists of boom mouth belt (2) comprising reciprocal steel plates (2.1), support plates (2.2), extension cylinder connection plates (2.3) and at least one hook connection plate (2.4).
In the boom mouth belt embodiment for foldable boom cranes according to the present invention, boom mouth belts (2) developed are used at the mouth sections of boom bodies (1) connected to the crane via crane connection body (5) and nested. Said boom mouth belts (2) are manufactured in plasma or laser benches in accordance with the shape of the boom body (1) for each boom body (1) and so as to determine a connection point at the mouth section of the boom body (1) of the extension cylinder (4) to be used.
The boom mouth belt (2) consists of two reciprocal steel plates (2.1), between which support plates (2.2) and extension cylinder connection plates (2.3) are placed and which are impelled on transverse section. The steel plates (2.1) used here are manufactured in accordance with the shape of boom body (1) to which mouth belt (2) is mounted. Then, the parts are mounted by placing support plates (2.2) manufactured in accordance with the shape of the plate (2.1) again, and extension cylinder connection plates (2.3) between the steel plates (2.1). Thus, boom mouth belt (2) is made ready to be mounted to the boom body (1). Later on, the boom mouth belt (2) created is welded by being attached on the boom body (1) and the boom mouth belt (2) is mounted to the boom body (1). Welding breakups and material deformations that can occur on the mouth of boom because of the montage of boom mouth belt (2) onto boom body (1 ) and sudden shocks during the use of crane are eliminated without any wrapping operations. In addition, boom mouth belt (2) is mounted to the boom body (1 ) without any problem thanks to the boom mouth belt (2) parts manufactured in accurate measures previously in accordance with the boom body, and montage periods are reduced. Similarly, the extension cylinders (4) are attached to the boom body (1 ) easily without any problems via boom mouth belt (2), because the cylinder connection points are previously determined in each measures on the extension cylinder connection points (2.3) provided on the boom mouth belt (2).
While the montage of extension cylinders (4) to the boom mouth belt (2) according to the present invention, which is mounted onto the boom body (1 ) by being attached thereon, is performed via extension cylinder connection plates (2.3), the connection of extension cylinders (4) is completed via extension cylinder bearing (3) attached onto the boom mouth belt (2).
The strength of boom mouth belt (2) is increased via steel plates (2.1 ) used in the boom mouth belt (2) according to the present invention and the pressure to be caused by extension cylinders (4) on the boom mouth section as a result of back and forth motion is reduced. Thus, material deformations arising from the extension cylinders (4) are eliminated.
The boom mouth belt (2) developed is designed in separately for each boom body (1 ) provided in the foldable boom crane system. The designs of steel plates (2.1 ), support plates (2.2) and extension cylinder connection plates
(2.3) which create the mouth belt (2) are formed on each boom mouth belt (2) in different types by taking the positions of boom mouth belts (2) with respect to each other when boom bodies (1 ) are nested, into consideration. However, the difference here is only a modal one and no difference occurs in the manner of work and structural features of boom mouth belt (2).
In the boom mouth belt embodiment developed, hook connection plate
(2.4) is provided at the lower section of boom mouth belt (2) mounted to the outermost boom body (1 ). The hook to be used in the operation of the crane is connected to the crane by means of said hook connection plate (2.4).
