    an igniting device (9, 20), which is designed for the automatic ignition of the igniting means (11) received by the igniting means receptacle (10), wherein the igniting device (10) is designed as an electrically activatable ignition source, in order to heat the igniting means located in the igniting means receptacle to such an extent that it ignites;
    characterized in that
    the igniting means receptacle (10) is designed as a tray or drawer, which can be pushed into the region (6) and removed from it, wherein the igniting means receptacle has a peripheral surround (13) with an opening (15), which is arranged adjacent to the igniting device (9, 20), in order to ignite the igniting means (11).

  5. Firewood oven according to either of Claims 3 and 4, wherein the igniting device (9, 20) is designed to produce a stream of hot air and to direct the stream of hot air produced onto the igniting means (11) received by the igniting means receptacle (10) .
  6. Firewood oven according to Claim 1, wherein guiding elements (12a, 12b), into which the igniting means receptacle (10) can be pushed, are fastened on the underside of the combustion grate (3).
  7. Firewood oven according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the igniting device (9, 20) is designed to ignite the igniting means (11) on the basis of a time presetting.
  8. Firewood oven according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the igniting device (9, 20) is designed to ignite the igniting means (11) in response to the reception of an external control signal.
  9. Firewood oven according to Claim 8, wherein the igniting device (9, 20) is designed to ignite the igniting means (11) on the basis of a time presetting.
  10. Firewood oven according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the igniting means receptacle (10) contains igniting means (11) of differently composed materials.
  11. Firewood oven according to Claim 10, wherein the igniting means (11) is divided into regions that can ignite at a lower temperature and can be arranged closer to the igniting device (9, 20) than regions that can be ignited at a higher temperature.
